Villain Ch 360. Zombie Boyfriend

Despite high expectations, Allen's investigations at the club were fruitless. The club was still empty, but he managed to meet the staff who met Alex. It was a shame that the staff couldn't provide much information other than the person's characteristics. He didn't know much about what happened twenty years ago either. What he got was some information from the old bartender who used to work here.

And about the reason why he gave Allen's address to Alex, the staff said his mom had come to the club two years ago and asked if Allen had ever been there or if someone had come here to ask about Allen. Allen guessed that two years ago, his mom concluded that Allen left that town to look for his biological father. She ended up giving the staff her address in case that person came and the staff assumed that person was Alex. It was safer since Allen knew his stepdad always checked on his mother's phone.

After one last visit to his favorite cafe, at 04.00 PM Allen was already on the train and returned to Revine City. Even though he didn't get much information, he was glad he had visited people he hadn't seen in a long time.

Like this morning, he decided to use his VR device and go online once the train started to move. Vivian, Jane, Shea and Zoe were online. Since Allen was more relaxed, they decided to go hunting on a new map.

According to Shea, this place was in a part of the Black Castle and filled with high level monsters. But what intrigued Allen was Shea's sly smile when she mentioned the monsters inside that map.

Here, darkness reigned supreme, and even the dim light that filtered through seemed to waver as if unsure of its own presence.

Their surroundings bore an uncanny resemblance to a torture prison from a grim historical tale. The walls rose around them, their stone surfaces a testament to the passage of time and the torment that had once unfolded within these confines.

The air was thick with a chilling ambiance, an unsettling feeling that seeped into their bones. This was a place that resonated with the tales of horrors and despair, a location that players rarely dared to tread.

Amidst the shadows, the only source of illumination was the feeble light that flickered from the torches lining the walls. From every corner, the grunts of undead creatures echoed, filling the air with an unsettling chorus of haunting sounds. The clink of chains added to the symphony, a melancholic rhythm that seemed to reverberate through the very foundation of the dungeon. It was a symphony of suffering, a symphony that bore the weight of countless souls lost to the depths of this nightmarish place.

It was no wonder that players hesitated to venture into this kind of dungeon. The ambiance alone was enough to test even the bravest of hearts.

"So what did you get from your trip?" Shea's voice carried a curious lilt as they walked through the unsettling darkness of the dungeon. The echo of her words seemed to bounce off the walls. Their footsteps were accompanied by the distant grunts of undead creatures and the faint clink of chains, creating an eerie symphony that hung heavy in the air.

Allen glanced over at Shea, his gaze flickering between the shadows as he processed her question. "Not much," Allen responded, his words carrying a tinge of disappointment. His eyes remained alert, scanning the surroundings for any signs of movement or danger. "I only got information that someone was looking for me at my parent's house."

"C-Can you explain it to us?" Vivian's voice wavered, carrying a hint of uncertainty as they navigated the grim depths of the dungeon.

Before he could delve into his explanation, Zoe's urgent announcement cut through the conversation. "Guys, five Zombie Prisoners at one o'clock!" Her voice was a clarion call to action, and without missing a beat, she readied herself for the impending confrontation. Her eyes fell on the five zombies with their legs bound in ball chains. Those zombies moved toward them slowly, just like Ghouls.

Her words were a warning that snapped everyone to attention, instantly refocusing their priorities.

But the danger wasn't limited to one front. Allen's attention remained divided, his quick assessment revealing another threat that needed addressing. "And three Zombie Torturers at three o'clock," he informed the group, his eyes flicking toward the menacing figures that lumbered into view. The monsters were shaped like ferocious muscular zombies with giant pliers in their hands.

"Oh, rough play. I like it," Jane's voice chimed in, her words laden with a hint of amusement as her eyes fixed on the menacing figures of the torturers.

Her observation was met with a mixture of amusement and mild disbelief from her companions, who turned their attention to her with raised eyebrows and entertained expressions. The others couldn't help but cringe at her comment, their faces contorting with a mixture of amusement and discomfort.

Jane's grin persisted, seemingly undeterred by the group's reaction. "Well, sorry for my weird fetish," she admitted with a chuckle, her tone carrying a touch of self-deprecating humor. Her candidness was one of the things that endeared her to the group. "I just read a story about a zombie boyfriend last night. The MC had good sex with her undead lover after 200 pages," she shared, her words accompanied by a playful glint in her eyes.

Vivian's response was quick and unfiltered, punctuating the conversation with a touch of logic that no one had quite considered. "How can an undead get an erection? He is dead," she interjected with a cringe. It was a question that threw a humorous wrench into the previously flirtatious notion, pushing the conversation in an unexpected direction.

Jane's initial grin wavered as her fellow player's words struck a chord. "You have a point," she conceded, her playful demeanor taking a momentary pause as the reality of the situation sank in. "I didn't think that far," she admitted.
