Villain Ch 101. A Princess And A Bad Boy

Allen and Zoe stepped inside the arcade, they were immediately immersed in the neon glow and the sound of multiple arcade games. The place was crowded with people of all ages. Allen guided her through the throngs of people.

The VR arcade games were different from the MMORPG games she was used to playing. They didn't require an internet connection and were perfect for playing offline or with friends. Zoe was curious about the new games, and Allen could tell she was eager to try them out.

They passed by rows of game machines with different themes, from racing games to fighting games. Allen pointed towards a section filled with VR arcade games, and Zoe's eyes lit up with excitement. It was a popular VR fighting game that pitted players against each other in a virtual arena, Beat Laser Saber.

They eagerly strapped on their VR headsets and entered the game world, ready to face off against each other. The neon-colored environment pulsed with energy as they equipped their laser sabers and began to duel.

Their movements were fluid and graceful as they deftly blocked and attacked. Zoe's eyes glowed with excitement as she swung her saber, narrowly missing Allen's head. He retaliated with a swift strike, which Zoe blocked with ease. They circled each other, each trying to find an opening in the other's defenses.

After several minutes of intense battling, Allen managed to land a solid hit on Zoe's shoulder, sending her avatar flying backward. She laughed and shook her head, impressed by his skill.

Next, they tried out a racing game where they hopped on virtual hoverbikes and raced through a neon cityscape. The wind whipped through their hair as they leaned into sharp turns and dodged obstacles. They whooped and cheered as they zipped past each other, vying for first place.

Their laughter echoed throughout the arcade as they tried out various games, from puzzle games to shooting games. The atmosphere was electric with excitement and joy as they explored this place. Zoe was grateful to Allen for making their meeting so enjoyable, and for turning what could have been an awkward encounter into something fun and memorable.

An hour flew by in the arcade game, and Zoe found herself wishing that they could stay just a little longer. But they knew they had to go home. They had made a promise with the others to hunt together in the game, and they were planning to try their luck at hunting on player maps.

Their plans also included taking down several mini-bosses. Despite the name, these creatures were no small feat to conquer. Their minimum level was 50, which meant that players needed to have a certain level of skill and equipment to take them down.

The two stepped out into the darkened sky of the evening. Zoe clutched a small stuffed teddy bear in her hand, a smug grin on its face. Allen got it from the classic crane game.

Glancing at Zoe, Allen couldn't help but smile at her happiness.

She looked down at the teddy bear in her hand and giggled. "Thanks for winning this for me, Allen. It's so cute."

"No problem," Allen said, shrugging.

Zoe's face lit up with gratitude. "Also… Thank you for accompanying me today. I had a really good time."

"Anytime, Zoe," Allen said with a smile. "I'm happy you enjoyed yourself too."

"Anyway," Allen turned to Zoe and asked, "Do you have a ride home?"

Zoe thought for a moment and replied, "I'll just take a taxi."

Allen looked a bit concerned. "Are you sure? It's already dark outside, and it might not be safe for you to travel alone."

Zoe smiled and reassured him, "I'll be fine, don't worry. I do this all the time." Of course, that was only an excuse since all she needed to do was text her driver, but after all the fun and how she remembered how Allen drove Vivian home, she wanted to give it a try too. She could only hope Allen would give her the offer. And as she expected, he did.

"Hey, if you don't mind, I could drive you home. I don't want you to go alone in a taxi at night," he offered.

Zoe was pleased with the offer. "Really? Thank you. That would be great," she said with a smile.

Allen nodded and gestured toward his motorcycle. "All right, let's go. I'll drive you home," he said as he got on his motorcycle.

Zoe carefully hopped on the back seat of Allen's sleek black motorcycle, feeling the smooth leather of the seat underneath her. She looked around nervously as she put on the helmet that Allen had handed her. Once she had it on, Allen started the engine, the sound of it roaring to life.

As the motorcycle began to move, he realized she had not held on to anything. Allen turned his head towards her and shouted, "Hold on tight!"

Zoe felt her face flush with embarrassment as she quickly wrapped her arms around his waist, holding on tightly as they sped down the road. She could feel the cool wind blowing through her hair and the vibration of the motorcycle beneath her, the sound of the engine filling her ears.

Despite her nerves, Zoe couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and adventure as they rode through the city streets, weaving in and out of traffic.

Her heart raced in her chest. She was nervous and embarrassed, her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue. She could feel her hands slightly shaking as she held onto him, her fingers tightly gripping his waist. Zoe couldn't help but notice how close she was to Allen. His body was lean and muscular, and she could feel his warmth radiating through his jacket. The sound of the motorcycle engine drowned out most of her thoughts, leaving her with nothing but the sensation of the wind blowing through her hair and the adrenaline rush of the ride.
