Chapter 714 – Dantian Universe

The cat wanted to serve Houtu while the insect wanted to overthrow her monarchy system. They quarreled and fought, but the situation escalated as the insect accidentally killed the cat protagonist's family member.
A rivalry between protagonists ensued. The cat vowed to avenge his family while the insect parted with the cat to pursue his personal agenda. The insect protagonist ended up as an outlaw, hunted by Houtu's local governments. As for the cat, he proactively tracked the insect's whereabouts and helped with the investigation.
After the arduous journeys and adventures, both men reunited on a battlefield. The cat protagonist led an army of cat cultivators and warrior dryads while the insect gathered an army of the strongest warriors of all races, including dragons, monsters, and sacred beasts.
War broke out. But in the end, the insect army emerged as the victor. The cat protagonist died at the hands of the insect protagonist, but the insect's army also suffered heavy casualties.
Then, Empress Houtu and the daughter of Miaomiao, Mao Lan, led a royal bodyguard army to face the insect protagonist. Then, a tragedy occurred.

He also noticed that every time someone died in his dantian universe, their dantian stars became his, and their souls were recycled into the dantian universe system. In addition, the people that Miaomiao killed lost their souls, and they couldn't be reincarnated again.

Karma Sea was a prison of karmic souls of that realm. Its duty was to trap every soul in one of the stars so that the dantian universe could continue operating. Currently, there was no administrator of Miaomiao's karmic soul's star, but he could assign one if he wanted to.
Not only did the karma sea chain all souls here, but it absorbed and converted the souls' luck to the universe owner. Houtu and everybody's luck returned to Miaomiao's primary galactic star's core, creating new heavenly fate fragments, crystals, and cores.
Moreover, the sea was in charge of selecting new protagonists. Upon inspecting Mao Lan's karma, he discovered that she had thicker karma threads and more positive karma threads than the other souls.
After learning everything, Miaomiao cut a karma string of a lazy ant to test things out.
