Chapter 668 – Kingdom Building
A hundred deities and an unrestrained sage came out of the portal, taking the first step to the medium continent realm.
The unrestrained sage was one of the six disciples of Hongjun. He came out along with 100 representatives of Heavenly Dao Universe's faction to scout and secure the medium realm.
Jieyin's eyes swiftly shifted from left to right, scanning through the continent with his wide vision and superior sense of an unrestrained sage.
As they had seen from the satellite map of Pangu, the continent was in a square shape with three massive portals at the three corners. However, one of the corners was unoccupied.
The unoccupied corner was located between Heavenly Dao Faction's portal and the Chaos Realm Faction's portal. Meanwhile, the Player Faction was on the opposite side, which was furthest away from the strategic corner.
Jieyin smirked. He turned away from the corner and pointed at the portal of the players.
"We'll finish the player off in one swoop! Kill as many players as you can, and we'll win this game!"
The followers of Jieyin looked trouble.
Among the representatives, the Jian Clan's patriarch, Jian Xian, cupped his fist and suggested.
"The number of players overwhelms ours. We might not be able to kill all 100,000 players. Furthermore, oppressing them early on may consequence in a dire situation. They might begin killing each other to give birth to a Great Dao Sage, and we won't be their opponent."

Miaomiao pressed on the Pylon Tower Icon. Then, a transparent building appeared on the interface, previewing where the building would be placed.
He measured the map. Then, he placed the first pylon tower at the furthest northwest of the continent, 10 kilometers away from the edge of the flat world.

As soon as Miaomiao mentioned catnip, all eyes of Cathulhus became round, and their pupils expanded. They stared at Miaomiao.

Miaomiao hovered in front of the pylon tower. He commanded his consciousness inside his dantian universe and fetched a massive chunk of green crystal. Then, he opened a portal to his dantian realm, throwing the crystal out.

The 100-meter diameter crystal dropped from the sky, emitting a pleasant medical scent.
Meowmeow and Nya-Nya's pupils expanded to the point that they covered all their sclera. They purred and rolled on the ground, getting high because of the smell.
The Cathulhus drooled. Some of them walked toward the crystal, having the urge to lick and bite it.
But Miaomiao reminded them.
"This is the biggest chunk that I have. I'll give this to the first person that brings me the airdrop crate that Mu-Nyang mentioned earlier!"
"!!!"
As soon as Miaomiao had finished his sentence, all Cathulhus kicked the ground and transformed into their true majestic cat-head with long tentacles. They jetted toward the portal to the Medium Realm right away.
Miaomiao gazed at the departing Cathulhus. He sighed.
"I forgot to mention. Please be safe."
Lilith laughed, "Too late. I think they might have started a battle without your consent."
"If they do, that's good. I'm confident in their abilities, especially since they are Mu-Nyang's descendants."
Miaomiao turned toward the pylon tower. Then, he checked the remaining balance.
2,510 Dao Stones.
He had enough to build a radar, but he lacked 490 stones to build the first refinery.
Even so, Miaomiao picked a place 100 meters southeast of the tower and build the radar tower.
RUMBLE
The radar tower appeared from nothingness, and the round formation of the city wall shot up from the ground.
Everything behind the walls changed color - Green gas emitted from several holes in the ground. Small hills elevated a few parts of the ground and several caves in tall hills leaked out green smoke. Blue Crystal Mountains emerged and lined in groups as if they had been growing there for millions of years.
Miaomiao counted the number of strategic resources.
15 groups of Blue Crystals and seven areas with green gas were found within their domain.
Miaomiao clicked his tongue. If they only have seven potential Divine Qi Refineries in their domain, their daily income would be capped at 15,000 Dao Stones, including the daily income from Pangu and Mu-Nyang.
The crowd was interested in the gas and the crystals. They got closer to them, inspecting the new toy.
Devil also sneaked into one of the caves. She secretly absorbed a wisp of gas to examine its characteristics and traits.

And Devil discovered a pleasant surprise. Divine Qi gas was as precious as Connate Qi, and she could cultivate them!
The others also found out. They began shouting, telling their friends to cultivate the green Divine Qi to boost the number of their Connate Qi in their dantian.
Meanwhile, Wei Yuan and the girls couldn't cultivate Connate Qi yet. They inspected the crystals.
When they got closer, they sensed various types of Providence Qi inside the crystals!
Zhao Yun reacted first. She swung her spear and cut a small piece that was enough for her hand to carry. Then, she sat cross-legged and absorbed the energy from the crystal in her hand.
The others copied Zhao Yun. They took a small portion of crystals and used them like an essence core or a refined spirit stone.
Just like that, all representatives and sentinels turned into cultivation maniacs. They tried to absorb as much energy as they could.
Miaomiao observed them and laughed.
"Only when facing the pressure, we can use our best potential. That suits them."
Miaomiao descended to the ground and visited the radar tower.
Although it was called a tower, its width and length were not smaller than a supermarket or a shopping mall. Inside the building looked the same as any skyscraper building with partitioned rooms for rent.
Currently, the lobby was empty, but several elevators were functioning.
Miaomiao didn't use the elevator. He flew and hopped on each floor's balconies, checking the interior of the tower as if he was exploring a maze for a treasure chest.
Each room was large enough to be used as a store. But for now, Miaomiao didn't need them.
As Miaomiao explored the tower, he got bored. Every floor and room looked the same.
He gave up inspecting the tower's interior. He got in the elevator and pressed the top floor button.
The glass elevator brought him to the top floor.

The elevator opened, showing Miaomiao a lobby area in front of a sealed room.
Miaomiao approached the room, and the sealed metal doors automatically opened.
Inside the room, a hundred monitors showed the real-time camera footage of everybody within the city walls. This place was like a security office, where the staff could see everybody's actions through CCTV cameras.
But the 100 monitors were not the only feature of this place. On the left side of the control room, the large monitor showed the status of Miaomiao's Dao Stone asset and the top-down map of their homeworld headquarters. It also showed the log of what Miaomiao had built or spent the Dao Stones.
To the right, another large monitor and a separated console were there. Instead of showing Miaomiao's Dao Stones like the other monitor, the monitor highlighted an icon with a number (1). Red words told Miaomiao what this console could do.

Under the number (1) was a timer, which ticked down every second. It currently showed as 34:47 or 34 minutes and 47 seconds, but it counted down in real-time.
Miaomiao sat on the chair in front of the console. He looked at the sci-fi keyboard, which had icons on them.
As Miaomiao didn't know what this console could do, he only used the arrow buttons to navigate the monitor and check its usage. He soon moved the cursor by using the old-fashioned arrow buttons to hover over the countdown timer.
The system was nice enough to show the hidden detail of the clock.
