Chapter 641 – Beta Test Phase
It had been a month since Mu-Nyang had moved everybody that related to him and Miaomiao into this mysterious world.
Joshua, Metatron, Devil, and the Trumpet Alliance members constructed a church and a place for their members to reside. All first-generation and second-generation angels were their only members.
The church's name came from Mu-Nyang's identity and their purposes in the future. The group called themselves – the Chaos Seraphim Church of Outer World.
Xie Lian, Xie Tian, Xie Qingtian, and Xie Fan constructed their new manor. They occupied a small plot of land on this planet as their Xie Clan's territory and invited some survivors and followers of their clan to work with them there.
Aside from these members, the rest of them scattered and created their own residents to rest and recuperate. Many lucky survivors, such as Luo Cheng, Luo Song, Zhu Qiao, Yao Lan, and a few mortals minded their businesses and hid themselves in the forest.
The world was quiet and peaceful. No one knew what had happened in the aftermath of last month's battle.
"Miaomiao is working hard, isn't he?"
Ma Xingjuan and Kang Yan sat in a bamboo forest, looking at Miaomiao, who had been sitting cross-legged for an entire month.
"What do you think he had been doing?" Ma Xingjuan pouted.
"Obviously, sex."
"Right. I shouldn't have asked."
Ma Xingjuan sighed. She wanted to join them, but she wanted to give birth to Lu Fengxian first.
Kang Yan, on the other hand, wasn't idle. She stood up and practiced her swordsmanship again.
Ma Xingjuan was her only companion at the moment. The girl kept watching her friend, who danced with her sword.
Suddenly, a portal to Miaomiao's dantian world was opened, and several girls came out.
Emerald Hopea came out with two dryad warriors.
Ma Xingjuan and Kang Yan gazed at them and noticed something different. When Emerald Hopea returned, her cultivation base was still at the peak-stage of nascent soul realm, which never changed since they had left the Aves Continent.
But now, her cultivation base regressed to the beginning of the 4th-stage.
Even the two dryad warriors became 1st-level muscle tempering realm starters!
Obviously, Miaomiao did something to them!
"Senior Hopea?" Kang Yan and Ma Xingjuan greeted her.
"Oh, hey. Why haven't you returned to Miaomiao's dantian universe? Everyone got their turn, and he's converting his universe's population now."

In addition, a strange icon of a Rook Chess Piece tattoo on her forehead shone in silver light. Sometimes, electric sparks came out of her skin.
"It was painful when the karmic souls merged, but everything went smoothly. There's no need to be afraid."
Ma Xingjuan sulked, "I wished I could get that physique soon. Being pregnant at this time sucks."
"I'm sure you'll get your turn soon. Actually, Miaomiao has been missing you. You should come inside and see him sometimes."
Ma Xingjuan was delighted, "I will! By the way, what are you doing outside?"
Hopea grinned, "Cultivate, of course."

'Munya? Has everybody settled down after a month of peace, munya?'
Nobody answered as they only looked up to the sky and awaited for Mu-Nyang's instructions.
'No answer, munya? You all are lame and lazy, munya!'

'Anyway, I'm here to tell you about the upcoming Heavenly Dao Reset, munya. Listen carefully if you don't want to miss anything, munya!'
"Reset?"
Kang Yan and Ma Xingjuan had heard of this from Miaomiao before. They were aware of the sage's game, and they hoped that these scheming sages would stop getting them involved in their quarrels.
'I've managed to extend the reset schedule for 10 months since many boomers and horny immortals in the Heavenly Dao Universe are pregnant, including a few of our mamas, munya. After this, every mortal, immortal, deity, and pseudo sage will be killed and will be forced to reincarnate to a new identity without their previous life's memory, munya.'
Everybody dreaded this news. They knew that the reset would come soon, but it was too soon!
Xie Tian had a wry smile on his face. He had foreseen so many alternative futures, and this one was the worst future that they could get.
There was nothing he could do about it. He could only prepare for the FFA battle royal game and the Beta Test that Mu-Nyang was announcing.
Mu-Nyang proceeded to bomb them with the worst news possible.
'Regardless of your progress in this life, after the next reset, everybody's cultivation base will be reset to zero, munya. You will have to recultivate from scratch! Even if I have your karmic souls and you're out of the Heavenly Dao Universe, the reset will still affect you since all of you were born from Heavenly Dao and you still have some of its luck, munya.'
"Yes. I knew it," Xie Tian sighed as he didn't want to start from zero again.
On the other hand, Ma Xingjuan and Kang Yan didn't look as troubled as the other men on this planet. They were prepared to sacrifice their cultivation base to get the bloodline of Chaos Demon God anyway.
Devil suddenly spoke out, "Can my Chrono Element Providence resist against the wipe like the usual, Mu-Nyang?"
'Not this time, munya!'
"WHAT?!"
'The next game of Pangu is complicated, munya. The time law isn't enough to withstand the karma of Divine Theocracy Earth, munya. Even if you're originated from a similar world, your karmic soul relies too much on Heavenly Dao Universe's luck, and your karmic soul is stuck with it, munya.'

Devil sulked. His clones patted his back to cheer him up.

Devil and everybody looked up. Again, all men sighed as they didn't expect much from the event before the apocalypse. It still saddened them that they had 10 months to live before their memory would be wiped.
Mu-Nyang coughed and tried to make his sound as exciting as possible.
'One month before the reset, I and Pangu will hold the last event of Heavenly Dao Universe, munya!'
Nobody cared about events. They were in no mood of joining something lively.
'In this event, I and Pangu will move the next game to the Beta Test Phase, and you will have a chance to experience the game system, munya!'
"Oh?"
Miaomiao slowly opened his eyes as he stopped creating another Chaos Demon God for now. He looked up and paid attention to the details.
'In this Beta Test Phase, everybody from Heavenly Dao Universe and our universe will act as NPC bosses, field bosses, world bosses, and galactic bosses, munya! We will have a war against the strongest beta test players from Pangu Online 2 Game, munya!'
"Hoh?"
Devil, Metatron, Joshua, and those who had seen the players narrowed their eyes.
Meanwhile, a certain child on the Aves Continent walked toward the edge of the continent.
He was Susano, the former player from the first Pangu Online Game. He had digested the blood essence of Meng Xin and constructed a new body.
Susano clicked his tongue. He shouted and asked Mu-Nyang, "Can I return to my world after the reset, Mu-Nyang?!"
'… Who said that just now, munya? Oh, it's you, munya! I thought I have sealed you. Who the hell release you, munya?'
"That's not important! Tell me if I can return to my world!"
'It's possible, munya. You were originally from Divine Theocracy Earth, so the karma of that planet might pull your soul back after the reset, munya!'
Susano let out a sigh of relief. He clenched his fists and smiled.
As he had heard everything he needed to know, he walked back toward a bamboo house and lay on a cotton bed.
Mu-Nyang continued.
'Where was I? Oh, right, munya! During the Beta Test, every player with a level over 1,000 carries a Silver Qi of Divine Theocracy Earth with them, munya. If you manage to kill one of them and get your hands on it, you can consume the Silver Qi to protect your memory and your soul, munya! After the reset, you will retain all your memory, munya!'
As soon as Mu-Nyang mentioned the way to protect their memory, the world was in an uproar.
Devil and Joshua stood up. Mike accidentally squeezed and crushed a bullet shell in his palm. Meng Xin smirked while he patted Lady Third's back.
On the other hand, Sima Yi and Guo Jia clicked their tongues. As they were aware of their weaknesses, they gave up the thought of retaining their memory.
But then, Mu-Nyang added fuel to the fire.
'I will select 100 best fighters from our world, munya. Each sage will select their 100, but Pangu will bring 100,000 players to fight us, munya. Some of them will carry the Silver Qi, so everybody here has a chance to get more than one Qi and give them to their subordinates, munya!'
As soon as Mu-Nyang said this, Sima Yi kicked the ground and flew toward Miaomiao. He appeared before the latter and knelt.
"My lord!"
Miaomiao wryly smiled at Sima Yi, "I know. I'll secure one for you and one for Guo Jia. I need your brains in the new universe."
"Thank you, my lord! I swear that I'll become more useful in the next life!"
"It feels weird hearing that, but whatever. You have been overshadowed by the deities, and you never had a chance to show your true potential as a protagonist. I promise you. I'll make you shine in the next life! Welp, I probably need two silver Qi for two of you."
Sima Yi's eyes shone. Even the soul of Nobunaga nodded in approval.
'Oh, by the way, munya. Even though this event is to test the balance between the players and the cultivators, everybody is free to attack each other like any free-for-all battle royal game, munya. You'd better come with a good strategy and coordinate with your trustworthy allies well, or you might not survive, munya!'
Devil took several deep breaths and looked at his clones and Joshua. Then, he looked at Miaomiao, whom he hadn't apologized for his past offense yet.
Joshua read Devil's mind. He laughed at him, "You did a number on him. He knew what you did in the other timelines, so it won't be easy to reconcile. How about we talk with him together?"
"Yeah, I'll definitely need your help."
Miaomiao also glanced at the massive building of Chaos Seraphim Church on the horizon. He scoffed as he sensed the stare from Devil.
"Reconcile with him? Why should I? I'm free now, so I don't need the attention of my original self. I AM MYSELF!"
While everybody had personal agendas, Mu-Nyang concluded the news with another bomb.
'The Beta Test Players will not be able to resurrect according to the agreement between me and Pangu, munya. However, THEY WILL GET STRONGER IF THEY GET TO KILL ONE OF THE REPRESENTATIVES OR THEIR FELLOW PLAYERS, MUNYA! Secondly, every player starts with level 500, which is equal to an early-staged deity, munya. But once they get to level 1,000, their strength will be comparable to a pseudo-sage! At level 2,000, they are as strong as a sage, munya!'
"WHAT?!"
'The Beta Test will give bonus multipliers to player's EXP as well, munya! If a player kills any deity from our side, their level will instantly increase by at least 300 levels at once, munya! Even if they kill their colleagues, they still gain levels, munya! Be very careful since these players always come in squads or an army, munya!'
Miaomiao, Devil, Xie Tian, and Meng Xin frowned.
