Chapter 552 – Mike VS Brocell, Samael VS Mao Miaomiao
"Phew."
Wang Yun emerged from the shadow of an altar on the 100th floor of the dungeon. He followed Brocell here in secret.
After confirming Brocell's location, he reported to Guo Jia.

Wang Yun took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He scanned the room, where Brocell and the dungeon core were currently at.
The room was illuminated with a thousand torches, which were attached to the walls. A dozen massive Roman pillars were neatly arranged in four lines and columns.
The empty hall was worthy to be called a boss room. Wang Yun had the advantage here as there were plenty of areas to hide or jump into the shadow.
Wang Yun sank into his shadow and swam in the darkness, creeping closer to Brocell and the dungeon core.
But as soon as Wang Yun and Brocell were less than 300 meters apart, the latter noticed the presence of the shadow monster. He turned around and pointed a handgun at the corner behind a pillar.

Brocell kept shooting even though nobody had appeared in the room. His bullets chased after an invisible creature underground, but he seemed to miss the target by a hair-breadth.

Five shadow spikes shot up from the ground below Brocell and pursued the orb behind him. However, Brocell suddenly switched place with the orb by teleporting!
The spikes punctured through his back, chest, and head. Yet, Brocell ignored the pain. His eyes followed the hidden agent and pointed his fingertip at it.
Suddenly, the dungeon section, where Brocell had pointed at earlier, was compressed into a small ball.
"TSK!"
Wang Yun jumped out of the compressed ball before his soul and the new body was crushed. The six arm-guns spat fire, and countless yellow lights exited the gun barrels, going through Brocell's head and chest at a light speed.
Brocell's skill was interrupted, and Wang Yun evaded the compression skill before his body was destroyed.
Wang Yun's eyes glanced at the dungeon core next to Brocell. However, the latter also noticed the eye movements of his opponent.
The dungeon core suddenly moved by itself and flew into the wall.
Wang Yun kicked the ground and jumped into a pillar's shadow. Brocell's body also transformed into white smoke, and his body merged with the dungeon floor.
Five seconds later, the dungeon core reappeared in the 150th floor's boss room. A massive gargoyle statue sat there, gazing at the dungeon core in confusion.
The next second, Wang Yun jumped out of the gargoyle's shadow and fired several bullets from his arm cannons toward the orb.
Unfortunately, a giant blue hand came out of the orb and blocked the bullets.
Brocell's body also appeared from thin air, showing up in front of Wang Yun as if he could teleport. His right arm turned into a giant blade and cleaved the ant monster with it!
Wang Yun's body was cleaved in half, separating his upper torso from the area below his waist. However, his determined expression never showed fear or doubts.
The arm-guns pointed at the ceiling and the floor. Then, they fired small bullets.
Brocell frowned for a moment, not understanding where Wang Yun was shooting at.
But a split second later, the bullets ricocheted against rocks and slanted objects in the room. Every shell changed its trajectory and flew around the room in chaos.
Brocell widened his eyes as he pointed his finger at the dungeon core. Then, a metal golem manifested, using the dungeon core as its golem core!
The orb sank into the metal structure of the golem body.
TINK
The ricocheted bullets hit the golem's body, but it failed to penetrate through its skin.
The orb was safe.

"Gotcha, bitch!"
Wang Yun smirked before his upper torso sank into his shadow. He also saluted Brocell with a middle finger before he vanished again.
BOOM
Shadow spikes came out from the surface of the golem's inner body, where it enveloped the dungeon core.
From inside the golem's body, Wang Yun's shadow spikes stabbed into the dungeon core!
And it broke!
Brocell realized what had happened and what his mistake was. The dungeon core glowed in dimmed light, so it also produced a faint shadow.
And Wang Yun's power came from shadows! Brocell shouldn't have covered the orb inside a golem's body since the cover was not clean and smooth. It created a small shadow in there, which Wang Yun could exploit.

The blue-haired android pressed several buttons on the console in front of her in a hurry. Then, she opened a cover of the lone red button at a corner and slammed her fist on it.
A loud siren alarm echoed in the room, and the automatic voice of the dungeon warned the residents and the monsters in the dungeon.
Brocell reappeared next to the blue android. He waved his hand and opened a portal for her, "Where is Samael and that broad?"
"Lady Jane and her bodyguards already evacuated when the invaders have first appeared. As for Samael, he refuses to comply with our order."
"I guess his loyalty is too low. Well, you go first. I'll go and bring him back."
"Yes, Commander."
Pixie ran toward the portal and left the dungeon.

In front of the root, Samael was determined to kill everything behind the metal wall. He gathered more soul essence into his fist and punched it with his full power.

While Samael was hesitating, he heard the voice of a sandworm.
"Guo Jia, did you hear that?"

Samael looked around. He thought that he heard a man's voice, but he could only see a pack of worms inside the root.
"AHAHAHA! Finally! Alright! Boys, let's scramble! Find any relic, treasure, or whatever Brocell left behind and bring it to the surface!"
The root suddenly disappeared, and the sandworms separated into the soil of the dungeon. They ran amok and consumed every brick, stone, and rock they found.
While Samael was in shock, one of the sandworms lunged at him.
The incomplete archangel scoffed at the weak worm. Everything below the immortal realm was nothing but an insect in his eyes.
He lightly threw a punch at the lunging worm, believing that he could end it in one hit.

As soon as his punch touched it, his soul essence suddenly surged as if it resonated with something.
Moreover, that sandworm just now had tough skin. Samael felt like he had punched something harder than his bone.
