The assessment exam went on. In the alternate plane exam, the alternate Miaomiao and Wei Yuan bonded like how Miaomiao had done.
The sexual interaction shocked Wei Huang and Xu Xiuying. Both elders had a private talk and agreed to take responsibility.
In the last mock exam between new disciples and inner disciples, Xie Tian challenged Wei Xiong while Wei Feng gunned for Miaomiao.
Miaomiao easily defeated Wei Feng. However, Xie Tian's match turned into a disaster.
Wei Xiong attempted to kill Xie Tian as he was jealous of the latter's talent. Yet, Xie Tian suddenly unleashed Dragon Fire Element Qi and defeated Wei Xiong, shocking everyone.

However, they ended up exposing the Silver Phoenix's dark secret to Xie Tian. The latter was infuriated and attacked Miaomiao and Yao Lan, thinking that they were accomplices of Xu Xiuying and Xu Lanying.
Miaomiao, as he had received so many power-ups from the marathon dual cultivation sessions, defeated Xie Tian this time. Yet, he didn't kill the protagonist despite being pestered by Devil's system messages.
He gave a middle finger to his system and refused to kill Xie Tian. He explained the situation to the protagonist, and both men reconciled again.
Ju Shoufen suggested that they should leave the sect, to which everyone agreed.
Ju Shoufen invited them to Myriad Cauldron Sect, and the group agreed. Miaomiao and the gang fled the city toward the north. Yao Lan and the victims officially abandoned the sect.
Xu Xiuying intercepted them midway at Red River Port. They got into a fight, but Xu Xiuying defeated Yao Lan and Ju Shoufen. However, she didn't kill them.
Xu Xiuying kowtowed and apologized to the group, revealing that this incident wasn't her intention as everything was orchestrated by her mother, the Zhu Clan, and Long Meifang. Then, she begged Yao Lan to bring the other virgin yin disciples with her. She had a connection with Xu Huang from the Holy Land Continent, and she was planning to head west toward the west coast to avoid the Yuan Clan, the Zhu Clan, and her mother.
Unfortunately, before the group could depart, Zhu Huifang, Xu Lanying, Zhu Qiao, Wei Huang, and Fu De rushed over. They pursued the group and began slaughtering the healed victims.
Shockingly, Wei Yuan was along with the pursuers. She openly yelled at Miaomiao for leaving her behind and attacked him.
A massacre ensued. Half of the healed disciples were slaughtered, including half of Miaomiao's wives. Jia Wenhe, Ju Shoufen, and Xu Xiuying attempted to repel the pursuers, but Zhu Qiao singlehandedly destroyed them.
Yao Dongmei, who was still in the middle of digesting the pill, was mercilessly killed as well!
Zhu Qiao slew Xiong Zhenzhen and Yao Lan. Then, she proceeded to capture both Miaomiao and Xie Tian.
It was a tragedy. The protagonist party was utterly defeated, and the elders were all crippled!

As the two powerful experts were duking each other, reinforcements from Mountain Goose Sect arrived. Jian Meng led the swordmasters from Jian Clan and revealed his true cultivation base, the 8th-stage.
Once again, their personality was completely different from Jia Shan and Jian Meng in Miaomiao's timeline. They worked together to destroy the demonic clans.
Xu Lanying retreated while the Wei Clan was subdued. After the dust settled, Jia Shan and Miaomiao's group were the victors.

The fight ended, and everybody survived.

The elders gave up treating Xie Tian. They left Miaomiao and Xie Tian alone, thinking that both youngsters were best buddies, judging from their interaction during the previous fight.

But as if greed blinded their judgment, they demanded Miaomiao to return the secrets of Xie Tian. Even Jiang Lan wanted everything that Xie Tian had once possessed, claiming that she was her true boyfriend.
Miaomiao refused, and he ended up fighting the entire party. Of course, he lost and was captured.
They stole Miaomiao's spatial ring, but they failed to locate the pieces of murals and other cultivation resources. Miaomiao hid the most important items in his system inventory.
Unable to find the time-and-space murals or anything related to the supreme technique, everyone was enraged. Jia Shan crippled Miaomiao's cultivation base, and several women beat him half-dead. Then, they shared the looted spatial rings before they parted their ways.
Jia Shan took the prisoners, including Wei Huang and Wei Yuan, back to Mountain Goose City. Ju Shoufen brought the victims of the Silver Phoenix Sect to Yeet City. Xiong Zhenzhen, Ju Chen, and other former wives followed Ju Shoufen to the north. Xu Xiuying flew to the west, heading to the west coast as planned.
But nobody wanted to bring Miaomiao along. He was left alone, lying on the ground with a battered body.
