167 It Wasn't My Fault!

A few hours later that day, the yin slaves told the elders and Wei Yuan about the condition of getting into that dream world space of Cao Mao. When everyone learned the requirement, Wei Yuan, Jia Shan, Jia Wenhe, and Ju Shoufen gave Cao Mao an odd look.

"Yin slaves? So, you've brainwashed them all!?" Jia Shan and Jia Wenhe were skeptical. Although they knew that dual-cultivators always did something to their sex partners, they never thought that Cao Mao would have done something as villainous as brainwashing girls into sex slaves.

"Yin slaves, eh? Is my granddaughter also one of your yin slaves, then!?" Ju Shoufen was angered by the revelation. She summoned her Sun Crow Avatar, getting ready to beat Cao Mao to a pulp.

"Oho? A private alternate space, huh?" Wei Yuan cracked her knuckles. She was fumed in the rage of jealousy, "So you and your sexy slaves have been enjoying your private time in there, huh? Why didn't you tell me before? Why didn't you give me the right to enter there, I wonder?"

No matter what Cao Mao would come up next, it wouldn't be good for him since everyone had enough reasons to beat him up for his sinful actions.

Brainwashing others was a sin.

Keeping secrets from family members was a grave sin.

Keeping secrets from the main wife was an unforgivable sin.

For the entire day, the gang interrogated Cao Mao about the Isolation Training Space. Still, Cao Mao had tight lips when it came to his ultimate secrets. He only told the elders that only his brainwashed yin slaves could enter there, but he refused to tell them what he could do in the space.

Cao Mao wanted to reveal everything to the three elders and his wife, but he was afraid of the Dao Gods, who were observing him. He had guessed that these gods might be aware of his system skills and most of his secrets. Yet, he also had a theory that these gods might not know everything since the System Sponsor seemed to be stronger than ordinary dao gods, judging from his system power and actions.

Thus, for the sake of his safety, Cao Mao chose not to reveal everything. He already leaked too much information, but he hoped to keep the sparring match clones, the protagonist rematch, the skill copying perk, and the system quests a secret from everybody.

Cao Mao just shook his head and said, "It just happens. I'm sorry. I have circumstances that I can't explain. If I do, I might die."

The distraction and the hint caught Jia Wenhe's attention.

Fortunately, Jia Wenhe misunderstood Cao Mao and asked him, "Are you having trouble that you can't tell us everything? For example, if you tell us, some sort of spell will kill you instantly?"

Cao Mao nodded repeatedly without thinking.

The trick worked. If one wanted to trick their seniors, they simply had to make them overthink.

Jia Shan and Ju Shoufen grumbled as they backed down. However, one person didn't understand the concept of a higher existence. Wei Yuan asked the elders about the gods, "Senior Jia, what are dao gods?

Jia Wenhe explained, "Dao Gods are former cultivators that have already ascended to godhood. Some of them are also mythical beings from legends. They are beyond the immortal realms, and their power can influence mortal worlds. These gods sometimes recruit mortals as their vessels to be their eyes and ears to keep up with the changes in mortal worlds after they come out from their long seclusion. A few of them, such as Dao God Yuan Hua, has close ties with their families in the mortal worlds, so they turn their clansmen into their vessels."

Dao Gods usually treated mortals like pets or toyed with them. Nobody knew what these gods benefitted from having vessels since no god was willing to tell them the truth. Yet, most of them seemed to be protective of their people so far even though a few dao gods were infamous in their cruelty in legends.

Jia Wenhe revealed that he and Ju Shoufen worshiped the Sun Crow while Jia Shan worshiped Kunwu. They relied on their protection because of the risk of dying from Heaven Tribulations drastically increased after the war with the demon races. Without the Dao God's presence, the nasty Heaven Eyes that had appeared during Cao Mao's hell tribulation always appeared to influence the natural tribulations, interfering with their progress.

From their records and investigation, those Eyes of Heaven disliked talented people in the world. They wanted to suppress all mortal cultivators for some reason. Also, the elders had heard about a peculiar rumor about the children of fate from a few immortals, who came to guard the world during the Grand Bridge of Immortalhood Event, which happened once every 100 years in the holy land. From the testimonies of the immortals, they regarded these children as [Protagonists of the New Era], and the Eyes of Heaven were nurturing these people. Jia Wenhe, Jia Shan, and Ju Shoufen guessed that the laws of the world were being biased against local cultivators, so he surrendered his future to the higher power to stay alive.

Jia Wenhe's decision was correct. The Sun Crow often warned the mysterious eyes not to harm his vessels. The same applied to Yuan Hua, Kunwu, and other Dao Gods. These elders managed to survive up till now because of their protection.

It was common for 6th-stage cultivators or a higher rank to be someone's vessel. Unless they were geniuses from a prestige clan or blessed individuals, most 6th-stage or stronger cultivators often got bad luck, such as consecutively getting into trouble, getting into a hairy situation, trump cards didn't work as intended, weapons broke down during usage, or even got themselves killed in an unexpected situation.

Listening to Jia Wenhe's story, Cao Mao got a better understanding of the overall picture of the multi-realm relationship. He also recalled the streak of bad fortune during his early days. He wondered if he was in the bad-luck-guy category.

Wei Yuan and other yin slaves were still confused. They ended up getting a history lesson from the three elders.

After everyone was distracted, they forgot about Cao Mao's secrets. Once again, he survived the pressuring interrogation.

Traveling from Yeet City to the west coast would take at least a couple months on the road. Although Ju Shoufen and Jia Wenhe could fly there within a day, they refused to be the group's bus since the other people in the carriages and their babies would be vulnerable to a random attack by a 5th-stage expert. Moreover, by now, Wei Huang should have learned about their whereabouts from Fu De, and the Wei Clan might dispatch their men here.

The group traveled non-stop, including during the night time. Jia Wenhe and Ju Shoufen volunteered to stay awake 24/7 to protect the girls and their babies while the yin slaves took turns driving the carriages.

The babies had it rough since wagons were different from modern cars. Bumpy roads and bad motion made them sick. Cao Mao had to mix a bit of spring water in their mother's breast milk to heal them.

As usual, when Ju Shoufen and Jia Wenhe found out about the hollowed spring water, they extorted a liter worth of water from Cao Mao as a sample for their new research. Cao Mao didn't have a problem with that since he had two rings with 100 cubic meters worth of spring water.

Because of the favor, the elders allowed Cao Mao to sleep at night. The three elders let him do as he pleased as long as he wouldn't cause trouble.

At night, Cao Mao summoned Pan Xiaofan again to refine her body with the manual dual-cultivation mode. The slave girl happily accepted the duty.

400 hours later in the isolation space, Pan Xiaofan's compatibility with the wood element reached 100%. Still, it required one more night to get her constitution to adapt to the life essence.

As Cao Mao was curious about what would happen if someone were to raise their compatibility with Life Essence to 100%, he summoned Pan Xiaofan again the night after.

Another 400 hours passed with over 80,000 dual-cultivation sessions in manual mode, Cao Mao finally got the answer.

A pair of bat wings grew from Pan Xiaofan's back, and two black sheep horns extended from her temples. Her fingernails darkened, while several dots of moles disappeared from her skin.

Pan Xiaofan's body became glossier in the bright room. A sweet flowery smell came out from her pores while her breasts and hips got bouncier.

Cao Mao widened his eyes in astonishment as he admired the transformation. This naked succubus got more alluring.

"Master, I don't know why, but you smell delicious."

"Hmm?"

Pan Xiaofan pushed Cao Mao down. She continued riding him, squeezing his meat bone for more juice, "Shoot more inside me. Don't make it disappear again. I want it inside."

After the transformation, Pan Xiaofan got into heat. She demanded proper sex as she couldn't resist her carnal desire.

Cao Mao shrugged and turned on the auto-mode. For once, he wanted to enjoy sex without a distraction.

Three minutes later, both of them had a big orgasm. Cao Mao's orc strength fired half-a-liter of semen inside Pan Xiaofan. The latter's milking machine also contracted, squeezing the meat to the last drop.

<Ding>

<You have dual-cultivated with Pan Xiaofan.>

<You have condensed 10 drops of Life Essence.>

<Pan Xiaofan has already been refined. You have absorbed some of her Life Qi.>

"Oh?"

As expected, the Life Essence reward from the auto-mode was less than the manual mode. In exchange, Cao Mao's semen didn't disappear. It stayed in Pan Xiaofan's womb, warming her stomach.

Pan Xiaofan panted in ecstasy. She kissed her master's lips and hugged him, enjoying the cuddling.

At first, Cao Mao was also enjoying it. But once he recalled that the ITS time would be over soon, he had a complicated expression on his face, thinking of what he should explain to the three elders after waking up.

'Her cultivation base has increased, and her air has changed. This will get messy again. Oh, right. I forgot to summon Ju Chen and examine her mental status. Will the manual mode help her? Eh, meh. I'll do her later. For now, my stress is building up.'

.

The next morning

Everybody made a fuss as Cao Mao had predicted. Pan Xiaofan transformed into a complete succubus, and her cultivation base increased once more.

Jia Wenhe inscribed a seal talisman and put it on her forehead, treating her like an undead Jiangshi. After that, Pan Xiaofan stopped leaking pink miasma gas. Ju Shoufen and Jia Shan inspected Pan Xiaofan's wings and horns, seeing if they were real.

"Brat, explain."

Cao Mao rolled his eyes, "Again!? It wasn't my fault."
