"How are you holding up?" Louise asked.

"It is a weird feeling since this mana isn't mine," Lana replied while frowning.

Louise wondered how they could help Jake get more mana, and she had the idea of doing the same thing that Jake did, give his power or energy to the others. However, if by some miracle everyone could learn that, it would be near impossible to do so during that fight. So, she decided to help him not die by using her reverse power on Lana and giving her all the mana she could gather from the environment.

"Anyway, it seems that the current attacks of the enemy can't kill Jake, but it shouldn't be pleasant to have his body pierced like that and soon healed at the same time," Karina said while frowning.

"Enough of that. Spread the word about the plan B we don't have much time, and we will only have one chance to surprise the enemy," Louise said.

Julian and Karina nodded and moved to talk to everyone. Meanwhile, Jake had noticed that they were plotting something, and he couldn't leave everything in their hands… moreover, being saved by them like that was a bit… he was certain that he could have endured the attack, so the help wasn't necessary.

The shadow titan eventually recovered from the previous attack, and his shadow spikes began to push Jake away instead of piercing him. Jake pierced his sword into the enemy's body again while ignoring the pain and trying to absorb the energy of the enemy with his sword, but he failed once again.

The enemy finally pushed Jake away and then tried to split him in half with a downward swing. Jake didn't have the time to escape and only blocked the attack, only to end up being sent downward. Somehow, Jake wasn't crushed by the sheer power of the attack and the massive weight of the sword. The ground below his feet was cracking, and he could hear the sound of his flesh being ripped apart, but Jake wasn't feeling any pain… Lana was still healing him, and thanks to that… he could muster all of his strength… somewhat.

"Does she want me to implode or something?" Jake wondered.

Jake could sense the glare of the shadow titan moving from him to Lana. That was a mistake… he used that chance to slip away from the attack and then jumped toward the enemy's face. The sword pierced the forehead of the enemy, and while clenching his teeth, Jake forced the weapon to pierce even deeper… much to his surprise, the enemy headbutted him to the ground, and Jake finally felt pain again since Lana couldn't see him anymore.

Even while being smashed against the ground, Jake didn't let go of his sword and used Mana Blade time and time again. Still, the enemy only pulled away when he was certain that Jake's legs had been crushed. After that, he got up and tried to step on Jake to kill him once and for all… but a black lightning fell from the sky and hit his head.

In the next moment, the entire atmosphere of the world began to vibrate, and the ground on several spots began to sink again. The enemy was pissed, and he was using gravity magic again… it seemed that he was done with all the interruptions, and the target of his rage couldn't be anyone worse since Louise's magic was the only one that could bother the enemy by herself.

The shadow titan moved away from Jake while he was trying to get up, but that was kind of hard, with his legs smashed to bits… Jake began to crawl while sweating cold and clenching his teeth, and then he saw the enemy glaring at the others. Despite his rage, he wasn't going to do anything foolish since the humans were having a hard time standing still due to the enhanced gravity.

"Shit… isn't my determination enough?" Jake thought. "I thought that I was ready to die to defeat this asshole, but maybe I am wrong… Am I still clinging to life?"

If that was true, Jake didn't have to pass the sin skills to the others… he was aware of that. Still, instead of dying like that, he wanted to at least once in his life give instead of taking something from others.

In the end, the enemy raised his sword and pointed to the sky. It wasn't a stance that one would use before a downward swing, so Jake couldn't help but frown a bit… then he realized that something was off when he felt the power of the enemy in action.

Jake opened his eyes widely when he saw a massive meteor crossing the atmosphere of that world… to think that the gravity magic of the enemy could actually pull something of that level… he wasn't the only one shocked by that. The other group flinched for a second, but then they readied themselves. They have been saving their mana to do something else, but they could fight that.

"Now!" Louise shouted.

All the mages of the group used their spells, the archers fired their best arrows, and even the melee fighters used all of the long-ranged skills that they had to destroy the meteor. A massive wave of attacks flew toward the meteor, but few of the humans thought that they could stop a one hundred kilometers-long asteroid.

Amidst all that chaos and panic, Jake jumped toward the projectile with all his might. The effort damaged, even more, his muscles and bones, but he ignored that and then attacked the meteor with his sword… the gravity magic that the enemy had used to bring that down had weakened since the thing could kill everyone around just by itself, but Jake still made his weapon absorb all the mana left alongside a few of the magic projectiles fired by the others. Jake's sword began to crack due to that, but in the end, he managed to use all that energy and fire the meteor back at the shadow titan…
