Luke began to panic. As someone who could teleport almost freely, the most annoying feeling for him was to be unable to use that power. It was like being a bird who had its wings clipped…

"Calm down, Luke," Frederick said. "Hugo and his guild had searched this place in advance. Traps like that shouldn't be around. Maybe your skill is malfunctioning because you are nervous or something. Recently, you have been under a lot of pressure, after all.

"Don't talk like I easily fall under pressure," Luke said. "I am serious… teleportation magic isn't working. Tell the other guild masters to be cautious because we don't know what will happen. Things like this happened before, but not enough in such a large area."

Unfortunately, Frederick's group forgot that they had many allies nearby, so the news about the fact that no one could leave that planet spread like wildfire. Eventually, even Louise's group heard of that, and the entire armies of the three guilds were filled with anxiety…

After not to so long, everyone began to hear the sound of many footsteps approaching. Some thought that their allies finally showed up, but some people only grew warier of that sound. Nothing coming out after being hidden in the darkness of that world seemed like something good, after all.

The members on the borders of the formations were the first ones to see what was approaching, and they didn't have silhouettes of humans… a random mage fired a fireball above the creatures, and then the enemies were revealed… they were liquid golems… a species of monsters that no one had seen before.

"What the hell are those? Aren't we supposed to ambush the dark guilds?"

Before anyone else could complain, the golems began to fire bullets at the back of that army, and since mostly mages and archers were there, they didn't have many chances to protect themselves. Screams began to echo on the battlefield, and then everyone's fears were confirmed… they fell for a trap.

"Frontliners! Began to move to the back and protect the backline!" Frederick shouted.

"Wait… I can hear footsteps coming from the opposite direction of that attack," Luke said.

"You can't be serious…" Frederick said while opening his eyes widely and then emerging several earth walls around. "Rose, contact Milena and Helana and check if they are facing a similar situation."

"Understood… it seems that your guess was right," Rose said and then bit her lips. "They are facing Stone Eye Cyclops… they are in desperate need of healers that can purify negative effects!"

Before Frederick could give the order and send some healers to help them, the monsters in front of them finally emerged themselves. The creatures there were fully armored red wolves… Frederick had a hard time against anything fully armored because his earth magic couldn't pierce them well… considering that Helena and Milena were facing stone eye cyclops, things became clear…

"The enemies are showing up and attacking the best enemies for them…" Luke declared. "I hate to say this, Frederick… but we fell for a trap."

"Unbelievable," Arilene said. "Humans are quite something else…"

"What is unbelievable?" Karina asked.

"Some humans turned against all humans to wage war against other species, and then you made a force to deal with them, but it seems that a good part of that force now turned against you," Arilene said. "I am truly surprised. How can humans sink so low?"

Karina looked at Lana and Louise, hoping that they would negate that, but they were showing complicated expressions. It seemed that they had arrived at the same conclusion as Arilene… the whole operation to get rid of the dark guilds was a sham, and now they were surrounded by monsters, unable to use the system to escape. Things only got worse when they saw some really large ice trolls heading in their direction.

"Captain, your orders," Julian stepped forward and said.

"We don't have many options here aside from hanging there…" Lana said. "The other fronts of the armies are fighting as well. We can only take down all the enemies before they do that to us."

When the ice trolls began to charge, the teams around readied themselves. They didn't survive countless battles and monsters until now to fall into a simple ambush.

Julian and Karina stepped forward, and when the first ice troll swung its massive ice club, Julian blocked and repelled the attack with his sword. He felt his bones vibrating, but he also pushed the monster backward. Karina used that chance to attack the beast and slice its throat.

Two other monsters approached and tried to smash her with their clubs, but she jumped and then disappeared in midair. While they were confused, the ice trolls noticed their clubs melting and, at the same time, lightning spheres appearing on Louise's hands. In the next moment, she fired the lightning bolts at the heads of the enemies and made them explode.

Many other monsters approached in that short window of time. Thanks to Lana's speed buffs, Karina could move insanely fast, and she attacked the back of the heads of many monsters before they could react, but some still reached the backline…

"Warriors of the past, come to me," Arilene said and then summoned two ghost archers in front of her.

In the next moment, the archers filled the heads of the nearby trolls with their arrows before they vanished. Arilene was sighted in relief since she couldn't keep them summoned for long periods of time.

"I saw that countless times, but it still is impressive…" Lana said.

The royal blood of those magic worlds is usually stronger than the others. Some of them even had special skills like Arilene. Her family was good at summoning magic, and they could summon the strongest warriors in their history. The logic behind it was truly hard to understand, but one didn't have to since only one could use those skills. In any case, despite that power, even Arilene couldn't see them winning that battle easily.
