In the end, Jake ended up doing that pretty much every thirty seconds. Now that he wasn't fighting, he finally had the chance to wonder why he wanted to get stronger so badly. To the point that he would have to endure something like that. Was it because he hated the idea that someone could kill him? Was it because he disliked being below others in any aspect? He couldn't answer… all he knew was that something inside him never let him get too lax.

After walking for a couple of hours, the wolves finally picked the scent of something. It didn't surprise Jake that the scent was leading him in the same direction they were walking.
Eventually, Jake managed to see some walls in the distance. So, he made his wolves hide while he approached the place to investigate. It didn't take long for Jake to feel like he was being watched by someone. He would never forget that enjoying feeling…
"Should I retreat, or…" Jake thought.
Before he could reach his own conclusion. Someone suddenly jumped from the wall. After not long, that guy landed right in front of Jake. It was the baldy… It was weird to find him now, but instead of feeling like that. Jake finally recalled… The baldie was the same person that Jake defeated in the first dream he had after coming to this world.
"You have finally shown up… King Judas," the baldie said.
"It seems that you have been daydreaming for a while, baldie," Jake said. "Regardless, I don't plan on taking your shit anymore than I have to for your delusions. This time, you are going down."
"Hhahahahahahahanahana!" The Baldwin laughed with all his might. "I am not bald, I just shave my head… My name is Diego. It is the least I should tell you since it is the name of your killer."
"The records are against you, though? So where does that much confidence come from?" Jake asked. "From your ass?"
"Your attitude never changes…" Diego said.
In the next moment, the weird machines around began to emit electricity and then they hit Diego. Still, Jake had a bad feeling about that… That guy truly hated him, and committing suicide in front of those that people hated was stupid.
"I knew that you would be the first to come here, and all my preparations are finished," Diego said while wearing an electric armor above his ice armor. "You will be the first to go down, and then those annoying guild masters will go next."
"Not that I am bragging, but it seems that I am one of the few that doesn't join the sides of either of the morons," Jake said.
Although Jake was bullshiting the enemy, he was more interested in how come that guy got those powers and how he managed to build such a place to power himself up. Not to mention, ice and electric magic weren't supposed to combine well for defense purposes. Finally, someone could become that good at a certain type of magic that fast… That guy never used lightning magic, according to the memories of that body, after all.
Regardless, Jake still could feel some eyes on him, and they didn't come from Diego. So, he had to be careful. It seemed like the owner of that body had many haters, to the point that they wouldn't hesitate to backstab him whenever they had the chance.
Faster than Jake could see, the enemy suddenly approached and then swung his sword to split him in half. Jake blocked the attack with his own, and while he resisted at first, things got complicated when the enemy used lightning magic on the weapon. The current began to damage Jake, and he began to lose strength.
Before Jake could think of anything, the enemy kicked his stomach and pushed him backward. As expected, his lightning armor made him a lot faster than before… Jake wondered if he would manage to drain the energy from the machines using his own Thunder Armor. Unfortunately, the risks were too much… If he tries that, Jake might end up wide open, and then the enemy will have the chance to defeat him with a single punch.
