Your recovery increased by one point.

Congratulations! The skill Master Thief has leveled up.

You obtained 01 status point.

"Well, I suppose it wouldn't become extremely powerful from the very beginning…" Jake thought. "Still, this speed is more than satisfactory for the time being. As long as my mind endures the exhaustion, I can get a lot of status points daily."

After doing some tests, Jake confirmed that Master Thief had some secrets. For example, the skill could only be activated on one enemy at a time… Even though king Judas used it on an entire battalion. The level of the skill also determined the amount of experience he could get or the parameters. It was basically ten percent per level for parameters and one hundred points multiplied by the level of the skill for the skills. Jake couldn't get skills using that one. Actually, he could, but he felt like his head was going to split when he tried to learn Fire Strike. He wondered if it was because Fire Strike was at a high level than Master Thief or if it was because the skill itself was at a low level. In any case, he could learn skills, but it was dangerous.

"All right, I confirmed this. Now I just need to find the perfect target…" Jake thought. "There is a chance that some of the people here might be working together, so I have to be careful…"

Flying enemies won't be much of a problem if Jake summons more Crystal Wolves. In fact, they were less durable than the other monsters, so perhaps he should choose one of those guys. The only issue was that he probably won't be able to summon a whole bunch of them and remain unnoticed… there was also the issue that some humans would be looking for him, so he would have to move fast.

After moving around for a while, Jake noticed that some people were also trying to find some camps to attack. For that reason, some bases were facing each other. Still, they were essentially sandbagging because they didn't want to show any openings. That was happening almost everything… the leaders of the bases were more worried about new people coming than the other guys leading the other camps. Also, they were people from all species, and he didn't find any humans.

"The shapes and formats of their base vary a lot… The owners also don't reveal themselves that much," Jake thought. "It doesn't matter who I choose, but I must have a few weeks more experience than me."

The other humans had at least one month's worth of experience more than Jake, and from what he learned, they hadn't succeeded in completing this mission yet. That was Jake's chance of leaving everyone behind.

In the end, Jake decided to attack one base that was producing the gremlins from behind. That was what he had planned until he saw that the owner of that base also had some gremlins allocated on their back. The reason for that was the fact that another base had some monsters facing that same direction.

"Even if I get the base, I will be attacked from two directions as soon as they notice it… I guess there is no other choice," Jake thought while looking at his crystal wolves.

Jake began to summon more crystal wolves, and he began to drink his mana potions as well. After all, he needed a higher number of them as fast as possible to protect both sides while he dealt with the base owner. In any case, even with his stock, Jake only managed to summon some two hundred more crystal wolves. With his current mana recovery, he could summon one extra every ten minutes, but Jake didn't want to wait for that long. He was counting on his wolves to kill more monsters while he fought to summon more… Even if he can't gain coins, he can activate other skills, after all.

In the end, Jake had to wait for a short while until the next battle between the gremlins and bat-like people started. After watching them for a while, Jake assumed that they were just like the orcs, quite humanoid but copies of each other. He didn't have to worry about picking a fight with another civilization.

Once the fight between them got intense, Jake sent his crystal wolves to attack the right side of the base. The place had some walls that seemed pretty thick and were fifteen meters tall, but they wouldn't be a problem against that many monsters using magic. However, despite the surprise attack, many gremlins coming from the plane flew over the walls to attack the wolves… Jake, who was hidden among them, couldn't help but frown. Nevertheless, he didn't have time to waste with them, so he summoned his pestilence crossbow and began to fire.

The monsters began to get hit and suffer quite a bit from the poison. Adding that to the fact that the crystal wolves also attacked them, the creatures began to die in droves.

All in all, it wasn't much, but Jake would accept all the points even if they came very slowly. In any case, the gremlins didn't have the chance to attack since the barrage of combined attacks was just too intense. The second group of them began to fly over the wall, but at that point, Jake was close enough to jump over it and swung his sword with his dark flames on it. The little devils were cut down without showing much Resistance.

When Jake landed at the top of the wall, he saw a sea of gremlins inside, ready to be used. The owner of the base sure was careful… In any case, the monster pointed their mini spears toward Jake, but he approached them first and then used Cyclone Strike killing dozens in a single moment.
