The man in the dark armor was sitting in a luxurious golden chair this time and giving orders. While analyzing some maps, he would give orders for each man in the room to take their groups and attack some spots on the map. Those men quickly, but they didn't look even a bit satisfied with their orders. The man in the dark armor ignored all that and just kept giving orders until the room was empty. When that happened, he just got up from his chair and then looked in disgust at that… he was used to doing many kinds of things for the sake of his mission, but that was probably the most annoying one so far. It was hard for him to stay motivated like that...

Pretending to be a ruler was incredibly stupid… considering the well-being of the majority while ignoring his own wish for freedom. Trying to make himself look more important to stand at the same level as others for the sake of appearance… He was a warrior at heart, so all those things were nonsensical. Naturally, those ideas came from allies that he spared along his way when he tried to submit to all humans for the sake of survival. He considered rejecting those ideas thoroughly, but that would be the same as not giving the right value to the opinion of his counselors.

"At least things are going well… our species can survive if things keep going like this."

Despite his actions, the dark armored man felt that they were justified. His species couldn't survive the vastness of the cosmos with their current strength. They needed more power, and to obtain it, they needed to defeat enemies stronger than them, and to be able to do that, they needed to become ruthless. Because human species couldn't become totally ruthless like him, most of their leaders disagreed with his methods.

While he was thinking about that, someone entered his room, making a lot of noise. The dark armored man didn't hide his expression of annoyance, but he let the man state his business. He was a messenger telling us that some of the other leaders were causing problems again… it was the mage of the stone forest.

Sending one of his underlings to deal with him wouldn't solve anything. The dark armored man decided to deal with the problem himself and once and for all. That guy had caused too many problems already. He could have gone to another world while the dark armored man protected his population. Still, he kept using the excuse that he wanted to free some people. Like they were in chains in the first place…

The dark armored man grabbed his sword behind his throne and then left the room… after a while, he left his castle as well. Being in that place really annoyed him… that was another thing that his counselors told him that it would be the best for his camp. People needed to think that there was a place on Earth that could still endure the attacks of the monsters. A place where they could more than just survive and where they had a strong ruler to lead them when they needed. He didn't want anything like that… he just wanted to survive.

"I tried to avoid becoming a ruthless ruler by selecting some camp leaders as my advisors, but they still made me a ruler anyway… I suppose I have been more lenient than I should, and I can do my own things now and do the way I want."

After three hours of traveling alone, the dark armored man reached the area where one of his lookout posts had been attacked. He could see some of the earth pillars around, and that was one of the skills that the mage of the forest of stone could use. In fact, it was his favorite spell.

The attack happened four hours ago, but he could tell that the enemy was still behind. The attacks lately had been pretty direct, like the enemy had been challenging him. So, he decided to respond to it accordingly.

"I am here. What do you have in store for me, Frederick? You sure like to act in the darkness for someone who claims to be a liberator."

"Somethings are necessary to achieve what we think it is right… even if the means are something that we deem wrong," Frederick said after emerging from one of the earth pillars in the distance.

"So, the means justify the ends?" The dark armored man asked. "That is a philosophy that I like… we have something in common, don't you think?"

"... You couldn't be possibly more wrong," Frederick said after he furrowed his eyebrows. "Your ideals are based on ruthlessness and fear. How many have you killed just because you thought that your way was the right way?"

"Hey, hey… are we really going to argue about our ideologies here?" The dark armored man asked. "It is pretty funny since you are talking the same way I acted… that is pretty hypocritical, don't you think? Also, how many people had died while you guys were daydreaming about fighting while protecting your pathetic sense of justice and ego? I think it is a lot more than I killed."

"... King Judas, your reign of terror ends here," Frederick said.

King Judas bit his lips until the blood began to fall on the ground like a waterfall. He hated that name more than anything else… Frederick had given up on trying to be logical, and he just was trying to piss Judas off and force him to make some mistakes. Still, that wasn't the first time that such a thing had happened, and Judas didn't let his anger get the better of him. Frederick knew that Judas had killed the entire group of people that called him by that name, so it was clear that he had something in mind.

"... You don't even have the decency to get mad at that anymore," Frederick said.
