"What the hell…" Jake thought in disbelief.
Somehow, Jake reacted fast enough to move his sword and block the attack, but the spell still exploded on his body and pushed him away from the back of the monster. He felt like his entire body was being hit by a hammer, and he couldn't move thanks to that… feeling like a nail sure was unpleasant.
The beam of energy kept pushing Jake until he landed on the ground. It was insane that the monster could control such an attack like that, but it came with a cost. The boss used a lot more mana.

"It must be thanks to Electromancy… that skill grants the monster more control over electric type-based attacks," Jake thought and then used Flash to the side to escape the attack.
The monster tried to follow Jake's movements, but he used Flash at the highest level non-stop. So, the beast was forced to stop. Too much mana was being wasted, after all. While that was supposed to be good for Jake. All the ecstatic energy damaged his body, and he lost ten percent of his health, even though he blocked the attack and was using all of his defensive skills. That was truly insane…
"It is a power able to destroy an entire army, after all," Jake thought.
Jake used some potions to recover, but the monster soon used its old strategy to annoy the heck out of him. The Thunder Spears came falling like rain…
Once again, Jake let some projectiles hit his sword and then used Regeneration. All in the hope of becoming more resilient to that kind of attack, but even after several attempts, even that massive fight outside where he got hit by hundreds of electric spells, Jake still felt like he was completely naked while being attacked.
"Time for plan C… I just have to think of one really fast," Jake thought.
Plan B seemed like the best possible since the monster wasn't that resilient. Unfortunately, the beast makes up for it with raw power and complete control over it.
Regardless, the monster could only have the same attacks since it was too wary of Jake, so he had to find a way to exploit that. As usual, his first idea was insane, but nothing came to mind even though he waited for a while to have others.
Jake recovered his shield that got damaged quite a bit before and then decided to use it. The beast knew that Jake was up to something, but it didn't stop attacking. Usually, the monster would focus on using Thunder Beam again. Still, the boss was fearful of the possibility of Jake disappearing again…
Regardless, Jake charged toward the enemy with his shield equipped, and the monster began to bombard him with Thunder Spears. Jake blocked all of them, but the heat of the shield and the electricity made him feel like his arm could fall apart at any moment. Eventually, Jake was forced to stop, and the monster felt even more eager to attack, and so the beast did it.
The impacts pushed Jake backward, and that kept going for a while… until Jake was unable to keep resisting that… All of a sudden, he moved his shield away and then threw his sword toward the enemy. The monster opened its eyes widely when it saw the weapon enveloped by dark flames flying at supersonic speeds. He spent the entire time defending, increasing the power of his Concentrated Strike, and then he used Throw.
"Fucking hell! This fucking hurts too much!" Jake shouted while looking at his almost completely burned arm.
Jake didn't even pay attention to his attack. He just used Regeneration while the Cursed. After a few seconds, he dashed toward the enemy. He saw that the creature protected its face with the right wing, making the sword pierce deeply and making the beast slowly lose flying speed… Unfortunately, the monster didn't fall… Probably because one didn't need wings as long as they could use Fly.
In any case, the monster Thunder Beam keeps Jake at a distance and to prevent him from recovering his sword. The beast lost only five thousand points of health, but the creature sure was wary of Jake, a lot more than before… Jake was also wary of the beast. He didn't want to turn his arm into charcoal, so he focused on moving away from the spell instead of blocking it.
In the end, Jake summoned the Energy Blade and prepared to get closer to the monster again. While zigzagging by using Flash, he avoided the Thunder Beam. However, the beast summoned several Thunder Arrows around itself and didn't fire them… That was one hell of a defense system.
Jake clicked his tongue in annoyance and wondered what he should do. At the same time, the enemy kept summoning Thunder Spears without firing them. It seems that the beast wanted to fire several of them and prevent Jake from escaping… However, when the beast that, Jake just kept zigzagging… Unfortunately, the monster had a surprise in store for Jake. The Thunder Spears didn't disappear when they hit the ground, and they stayed like that…
"I don't like this," Jake thought.
Jake decided to attack the monster as soon as possible. Still, as soon as he moved, several thunder spears sent energy toward him from all directions. When Jake used Flash, others used their electricity to hit him… It was a trap that reacted to his movements… While he made some of them, the energy just moved to another spear and was stored there. He tried hard, but eventually, Jake was hit by some of them and got paralyzed while his health began to decrease…
