He had predicted such an attack, so he swung down his sword with all his might, and the explosion made both of them be pushed backward.
Jake didn't recover faster, but he still was the first to attack after the impact. This boss only used its thrust attacks to keep him at bay, but Jake dodged the first, and he fooled the creature by moving like he was going to dodge again, but he used Flash. At the last moment, the monster felt a sharp pain on its left side, and when the monster checked the wound, there was no blood.
