Jake played with the orcs for a while until a large number of them surrounded him. They got tired of being hit by Mana Blades, so they decided to rely on that. They had no idea that they had just fallen for Jake's trap… When the orcs armed with lances charged to turn him into a porcupine, Jake hit the ground with Explosive Touch and raised a small curtain of dust, big enough to cover those ten orcs.
"Ah, dust curtain… you never failed me," Jake muttered.
When the dust curtain disappeared, several orcs had stabbed others easily, and while none of them died, Jake was completely unscathed while standing above of one of the extended lances. In the next moment, he used Cyclone Strike, hitting the neck of all those orcs. While he didn't behead all of them, his sword cut deep enough to make them bleed to death.

Jake felt his health, mana, and stamina recovering quite fast thanks to that skill, so he realized that he could afford to be a bit more risky to save time. When he saw a platoon of enemies approaching, Jake decided to follow that idea. He used Flash when the enemies were within his range and then used Explosive Touch and Cyclone Strike. In a single moment, dozens of orcs were knocked down, but only those directly hit by the sword were killed.

"Only four… I guess this is the limit under normal conditions since they are all so big," Jake thought while looking around. "Still, this should be enough considering the potions that I have in stock."
Jake kept using that combo for a while. Still, the eventually, the orcs got mad enough to do something a bit reckless but pretty useful for them: they began to throw their weapons at Jake… He used his sword to block most of them and dodged others. Still, some hit his body, and his health began to decrease… even when the orcs began to hit each other, they didn't stop.
The same trick of hiding himself in a curtain of dust wouldn't work since the enemies weren't that close, so Jake decided to try something else. He used Flash toward another group of enemies, and then he hit the ground with Fissure. When those enemies lost their balance, he used Cyclone Strike again. This time he also added Explosive Touch, so the area of the damage that he caused was a bit larger. The bodies split in two, exploded, and the flames damaged some of the enemies around. The extra damage finished what the Fissure started.
In the end, the wound in Jake's body began to heal thanks to the number of enemies that just died… it was pretty nice to have a skill that worked like Vampirism, but it could work on more enemies. Unfortunately, Jake had to stop after using that a couple of times due to his low energy.
"Everything comes with a cost, I guess…" Jake thought.
As much as Jake was liking to fight an army using the type of greatsword that he always wanted, it was time to finish things up. He enveloped his sword with dark flames and then activated Dash. Suddenly, he began to run three times faster, and he swung his sword around and made him look like a storm of steel and blood.
The cost of stamina at rubbing at his max speed all the time was quite high, but Jake recovered it thanks to Motivation. The orcs tried to keep up with him, but those that were close enough got killed. Those who managed to hit him in the back didn't cause enough damage to stop him, and the damage didn't pile up, thanks to Vampirism and Motivation. Now Jake seriously looked like a one-man army…
Half an hour after the start of the battle, Jake sat on the ground, exhausted. While he could recover mana, health, and stamina with each kill. It didn't change the fact that he got hurt and got tired and drained. He only recovered faster. In any case, Jake began to look around for items, but as expected, he didn't find the one that he needed. Fortunately, he got a lot of drops, and he could sell them for a ton.
"The work after the battles is even more troublesome…" Jake thought while he was gathering the loot and the essences. "Maybe I should hire someone to do this kind of work for me."
For someone as hard to deal with and sarcastic as Jake, it was hard to imagine that anyone would want to do that job for him for long…
