The first monster enveloped their fists with flames and then tried to punch Jake, but at the last moment, he moved to the side and dodged the attack. Still, the heat of the flames and the pressure of the attack made the hair on Jake's back stand. A single hit, and he would probably fly over the wall.
After dodging the strike, Jake swung down his sword and attacked the head of the creature. The monster tried to block the strike with its remaining arm, and while the ape blocked and protected its head, it came with a cost… The arm of the beast was cut off.
