Jake couldn't relax during the night. The best he could do was to take a few naps here and there. His shelter only had a single room, so it was clear that anyone could approach him. Knowing that he couldn't fall asleep peacefully. The idea of letting himself vulnerable while others nearby gave him goosebumps. So, he worked on making more potions to diminish that problem.

When morning came, he finished his preparations for the next mission, and the others woke up as well. They couldn't take all of their time to clear the dungeon. They will have to endure hell for a while yet, but now they know what they have to do.

"You saved us again, Jake," Louise said. "It reminded me of the old days."

"The old days of three weeks ago…" Jake replied. "You can repay me by not bothering me too often."

"So, you don't mind if we show up now and then?" Lana asked. "How weird of you."

"Actually, maybe I should make all of you run away the next time you show up like that…" Jake said.

"You joke around so much, but you can never take a joke," Lana said and then shrugged.

"Excuse me… Can I ask you for some tips on how to fight better?" Julian hesitated, but he still asked.

"Use your head and know your limits and you will be fine," Jake replied.

"Can't you reply with something more direct like a technique of fighting or something?" Karina asked.

"Also, I don't remember you thinking much during or before the fights," Lana added. "Considering that you keep getting hurt badly and always dash forward to new missions, you don't know your limits well either."

"I am built differently, common sense doesn't apply to me," Jake explained.

"It is more like you don't care about common sense… Anyway, thanks for the help again," Lana said. "We will find a way to repay the favor."

Jake checked the quests available, and he frowned when he saw the new ones. They were very different from the usual, so he could tell that something was off. That kind of mission was way too different from the usual, and it didn't have a time limit either.

"This makes me recall that quest on the liches… could it be…" Jake furrowed his eyebrows while he considered some possibilities.

Without a doubt, something happened… why the same event would take place in three different worlds? Someone forced that to happen, and considering Jake's recent experiences, he assumed that it was a dungeon break. Jake didn't mind the fact that he would have the chance to fight a lot more monsters, but he was annoyed that he had to clean after someone's messes, probably the criminals.

In any case, Jake couldn't waste too much time thinking about it. It was something that he had to do it as soon as possible. The part of fighting alongside others seemed like a problem, but there were numerous ways to bypass that. The real problem was where he should go first… if the criminals did that, then they made sure to cause the problems at the same time, so the species of monsters would be the real factor.

"Whatever, let's go to the first world…" Jake said and then selected the first quest.

Jake suddenly appeared in the middle of a windy grasslands. Things looked pretty peaceful there with some trees here and there, so he thought that he had imagined things. However, the atmosphere ahead looked a bit weird, so he decided to move. It didn't take long for him to find a place where two armies were facing each other. On the right side, Jake could see a large walled city that even had a castle in the middle. From that place, numerous soldiers and guards were moving to their left side and joining the battle. It was hard to tell from far away since they were wearing armor, but Jake was pretty sure that they were taller than humans and had a body covered in fur. They didn't look that buffy, though.

On the left side, Jake saw an army of monsters, some of them were armed with axes, halberds, spears, and swords, and all of them had bracers and knee pads. Aside from that, they didn't have much defensive gear. They certainly looked buff, and their skin was weirdly yellow… They were bald and had pointy ears. Jake confirmed what they were when he used Appraisal.
