At first, Jake didn't think much of the creature, it was just another target, but then another similar mummy appeared, and then another… until five of them were heading toward Jake like they owned the place. They probably did since the dungeon's interior resembled a pyramid's interior. In any case... fighting five bosses at the same time in a confined place would be a first, even for Jake, so he had to play his cards right. He was craving for some excitement since the mummies were boring, so he decided to make use of that chance...

"So, that is how a dungeon break causes, huh…" Jake thought. "I don't know the details yet, but I can see that this would be an issue in most worlds... with that in mind, why the fuck the dungeons aren't guarded?"

For a bunch of morons claiming that they wanted to help as many humans as possible, the guild masters sure were doing a half assed job. Jake also couldn't help but wonder if those who had planned all that wasn't thinking that the bosses would do the job of killing him or at least force him to use all of his cards. If they somehow they could bypass his Mental Armor without warning him, then they must be wary that Jake still had four more innate skills that had yet to be revealed… were they hoping to learn what those could do before attacking him?

Nevertheless, it wasn't time to think about that, one of the mummies pointed their hands toward Jake, and then his body suddenly got three times heavier…

"Hey, come on…" Jake said.

That mummy stopped moving and decided to focus only on using gravity against Jake. Meanwhile, another surrounded him with a Poisonous arrow, and the remaining three dashed toward him.

Jake jumped backward while using Explosive Touch on his feet, but naturally, he only crossed a small distance. Still, enough to avoid the arrows. Unfortunately, the monster kept shooting those.

"So, they are going to coordinate. This might be a good experience," Jake thought.

With his mobility decreased and aging five enemies of that level, Jake had to use everything he got. So, he began to move away, and when the monsters approached, they activated the ice traps he left behind. Unfortunately, only the first mummy got pierced a bit by them. The others managed to dodge them once they felt the traps being activated. Still, Jake managed to run away and leave the range of the gravity spell.

The mummies tried to follow Jake and ended up losing sight of him in one of the bifurcations. They attempted to approach it and see which direction he had escaped to. Still, once they reached that part of the dungeon, Jake welcomed one of them with his sword charged with the dark flames on the belly of the creature. In the end, thanks to the flames moving like a chainsaw, Jake managed to split one of the mummies in two before the others could react. However, the health of the monster didn't decrease to zero… It only reached the halfway point.

Jake already could tell that just attacking like that wouldn't be about to kill the monsters, so he tried to run away again. However, one of the mummies used gravity, and the other three grabbed his limbs with the bandages. While clicking his tongue, since he felt the strength leaving his body, Jake made his dark flames spin in front of him and burn the bandages. At the same time, he fired them toward the enemies.

The bosses began to struggle against the dark flames, but Jake could see that he wasn't causing that much damage to those five creatures. It was only natural since his power wasn't being focused on a single one. So, Jake began to move away while the enemies were busy.

"I guess killing them like that is the only way," Jake thought while he considered a few things.

Jake was getting closer to the exit of the dungeon again. So he was forced to stop. He could choose another route, but he would end up putting himself on a dead end. It would be disastrous to fight those beasts in such a place… heading to the exit of the dungeon would be the same as putting himself in a crossfire between the criminals and the bosses. So, Jake made up his mind.

He stopped moving and then turned around to face the bosses. He had to take all of them at the same time. Fortunately, their strength lies in their skills and the high amounts of energy that they can use. Their parameters weren't that special.

Jake equipped his Umbra Sword and shield again, and then he quickly ran some simulations in his mind. Even when he soon began to hear the footsteps of the enemies, he didn't stop. He didn't have much time, but he considered some possibilities. However, all of them were rather dangerous… That didn't surprise Jake. His plans were always borderline insane, after all.

Regardless, Jake opened his eyes when he saw the enemies appearing on the other end of the corridor in front of him. Two of the mummies stopped moving this time and used Gravity on Jake. He almost could hear his bones cracking when his body suddenly got six times heavier, but he endured it while he waited for his chance.

Those three mummies quickly approached and, with their bandages, ready to grab Jake. They knew that their best chance would be immobilizing him and quickly making him unable to resist due to the power of the curses. Still, one of them got too close, even when the bandages had already touched and enveloped Jake's arms… He swung his sword diagonally at supersonic speeds after enhancing it with dark flames. In the next moment, one of the mummies fell to the ground, completely lifeless since Jake's strike destroyed the head and the left side of its torso.
