After hunting the frozen grizzlies for a day, Jake rested at his cabin for a few hours, and then he decided to move and select the next mission. However, he felt like something was off… something was bugging him, and he felt something similar a few days ago like something was about to happen.

"It seems that this mission will be a pain… do I have precognition or something?" Jake thought. "It was probably because of this that I was feeling weird earlier."
Jake wondered why mummies were also monsters in some world… they were supposed to be a thing from Earth… or maybe other worlds had that costume in the past of creating mummies. Nevertheless, their names made Jake realize that they would have the power to use curses… he wondered if they would be found in structures like pyramids as well. Perhaps not. Regardless, whatever happens, the reward was going to be a special class, and Jake wasn't planning to let such a golden chance disappear.
Once Jake selected the mission, he was teleported to a desert… He should have known that such a thing would happen. In any case, the temperature began to increase, so he put away the coat made of the Grizzlies pelt that he used to fight the cold.
"From a hellish cold area to a hellish hot area…" Jake said while looking around.
Jake could see many dunes… Practically, only dunes in almost all directions. After he climbed one, he didn't find any signs of a dungeon, so looking for the entrance would be like looking for a needle…
"That feeling… Something here is bothering me," Jake thought. "Are the mummies going to emerge from the sand?"
If that were to happen, Jake at least would learn which direction he should follow, but such a thing didn't happen. It didn't seem like a monster was about to ambush him either.
The sun was setting behind Jake, so he wondered if he should follow that direction. He found the dungeon in the tutorial doing that. Still, it would be a big coincidence if that works there as well.
"Well, I need to start in one way or the other," Jake said and then headed in that direction.
After walking for two hours, Jake felt like he had made the wrong choice, the sky was getting darker, and the temperature was decreasing. Still, he couldn't see any signs of monsters or of the dungeon. Seeing anything in the darkness of the night will be quite impossible. Despite that, Jake kept going since he couldn't just turn around, and because of that weird feeling, Stil was bothering him. He could always select another mission and try to return to the starting point, but Jake felt that he should keep going.
At some point, Jake lost the notion of time. He didn't know if it was early in the afternoon or midnight, so his focus began to wane… Until he saw some shadows in the distance moving toward him. It seemed like other people had been looking for the dungeon as well. However, Jake raised his guard while he grabbed the hilt of his sword just in case… He did the right thing. Eventually, Jake noticed that there was something off with them as well.

Jake finally could see some of the spells that the monsters could use, but he frowned when he realized that they could use gravity. He couldn't understand how and he was pretty sure it was too soon for monsters that were able to do that to show up. In any case, the four mummies, before anything, they used Gravity on Jake, and his body suddenly became almost two times heavier.
"My feet are sinking a little… This might not be good," Jake thought.
The beasts could use poison, so they might be Resistant to that as well. Using his crossbow wasn't a good idea, so Jake sighed. In the end, he used Boomerang Shield. The monsters used their bandages to stop the attack. Still, the skill leveled up a lot during the last mission, so it did its power, so the shield cut the bandages and beheaded one of the mummies.

"I thought I would need more than this, but… I suppose I have gotten stronger as well," Jake thought.
Jake managed to use his shield once more before the mummies attacked with Poisonous arrows. Since two of them died, the effect of gravity halved, and Jake was able to move a lot more. He jumped to the side and dodged them before he used Boomerang Shield and charged toward the remaining monsters. His shield beheaded the third creature, and the last one used its bandages to attack Jake, but he repelled them with his sword. When Jake got close enough, the Poisonous monster Aura and just by being close to it, Jake began to suffer damage. Still, he split the head of the monster before that could become a problem.
