When the boss tried to hit him with numerous poison arrows, Jake blocked most of them with his sword and shield before he charged with all his might and hit the enemy with both of them. The creature staggered, and then Jake noticed that it had stopped firing the poison arrows. It couldn't concentrate on that when it was in pain. Jake wasn't the type to enjoy suffering, not from monsters at least.
