A long time passed seemingly in the blink of an eye. The Century of Peace had ended but most people still lived in a rather peaceful era.

The Veilures were considered as less dangerous than initially expected, but they continued to cause trouble. Their strength was higher than their rank suggested, but that was still something the True Gods and everyone above could handle easily.

There was no need to panic, especially since everyone gave their utmost to become stronger. Several wars had broken out on Milarn but neither Dilan nor the Ancient True Gods intervened.

Even if it was cruel, conflicts were necessary to polish rough gems. The Primordial Ascension had been created to polish countless gems in the rough. Some of these unpolished gems were not even known, yet, the moment bits of their talent were unveiled, they began to shine brightly.

Dilan was quite satisfied with what he saw over the course of centuries. The population of the human race on Milarn had increased drastically once again but instead of reclaiming their lands, they had a hard time shining brightly. Only a small part of the population was able to use the Primordial Ascension's system properly.

That was to be expected because not everyone had the willpower, intellect and plain talent to become True Gods. The humans from Milarn were special because they were more compatible with the blessings and powers of other races but that didn't mean everyone would be granted such powers or blessings.

His sisters gave birth to more children, Lara had long since become a grand grand grandmother and everyone was living a life they could never have imagined to live after the Primordial Ascension had occurred.

Dilan encountered a bunch of his old 'friends' from before the Primordial Ascension, but many of them had chosen to become the disciples of other Gods, Gods that behaved like the worst kind of beings one could wish to be trained.

However, instead of killing these Gods, Dilan left them alone. There was a need for villains in the story of the protagonists that were about to change their fate and fight against the unfairness of the Universe. They were in need of powerful and evil opponents to develop their character, grow in strength and overcome their limits.

Dilan didn't think of himself as special even now after his True Divinity had been cultivated for close to a thousand years. He didn't keep track of the time that had passed because it was more important to focus on the present and the future.

Dilan was still trying to become stronger but he was also living his life. Focusing solely on becoming stronger would decrease the value of his life drastically. He might as well fall into a slump and never be able to rise out of it if his only goal in life were to become stronger.

At one point, he would reach a bottleneck that couldn't be overcome easily. It might take a while for something like that to happen but it was bound to happen sooner or later.

As for the prophecy, Dilan began to wonder if it truly existed or if the actions of the Fate Changers had already changed the fate of the Universe. Maybe that had already happened, or it was about to happen, but Dilan didn't hear anything about the prophecy anymore.

It seemed to cease to exist, and the only thing that reminded Dilan about it was the Eternal Darkness, whose name was known by most existences in the Universe by now. Dilan was just as well-known as Nial Orin, but the reason for their name to have spread was different.

While Dilan had focused on protecting everyone as well as possible, Nial, the Eternal Darkness, had made sure that nobody would take the thing and people that belonged to him!

If Dilan had been a battle maniac before, he was more focused on becoming stronger in the most efficient way now. There was no need for him to fight day in and day out because he could just use the most conventional way to cultivate his True Divinity.

His four Divinities needed different ways to be cultivated but he found out how to do cultivate multiple Divinities at the same time. As for the World Divinity, he had Milarn in his hands. As long as he was linked to Milarn, he could extract more World Essence and cultivate his World Divinity rapidly.

The higher he cultivated the World Divinity the stronger Dilan's physical strength would be. That was also why he was already extremely powerful, especially since his Undying Divinity and World Divinity were already greatly developed.

According to the Lightning Titan, his True Divinity was on par with the True Divinity of an Ancient True God.

The Lightning Titan was not sure if he could fight against a Primordial head-on, but given his Undying Divinity, and willpower, a battle of attrition would likely end up with Dilan on the winning side.

"The prophecy…I wonder when it will happen…" Ariel Silvertale said at this moment. She was lying in his arms comfortably. However, Dilan stiffened when she mentioned the prophecy when he thought about it.

It irked him more than usual, especially since he got a bad feeling the moment she looked up at him. It was almost as if she was trying to say something to him.

"Ahh…shit…don't tell me…" Dilan grumbled as he got up from the bed. He put on some clothes and closed his eyes to focus on Milarn and his perception of the world.

He sensed something, or rather someone, to whom he sent a short note about his position.

"You figured that he would come?" Dilan asked as he looked at Ariel, who had also gotten out of her bed. She wore a long, pulled her arms around his neck, and planted a kiss on his lips.

"I had a bad feeling that he would come, yeah…" She said when their lips parted. Ariel was a little sad and she shifted deeply which lifted Dilan's mood a little.

"Well, it was about time that I meet him again."

'So…why are we meeting now? Is the prophecy finally coming true?'
