Dilan was not able to focus on the people on his right. He knew that Lara had broken down and that she was bawling her eyes out but Dilan couldn't pay her any attention, not until they were done here!

Looking down, he saw that his body had been fully healed. It took longer than expected thought.

'I overdid it with my attack, didn't I?

The accumulated power of the True Undying Essence was a little bit used which was also why it took longer to heal him in his entirety. He was not yet strong enough to heal endlessly, let alone in an instant whenever harm was imposed on his body.

Despite that, the True Undying Essence was more than he could have wished for…and it was good enough to work with!

His eyes darted to the three figures in the sky and a deep frown appeared on his face.

'The fakes arrived, I see…'

Forming a longsword with Oricalm, he shrouded it with the Immortality aura and a few layers of Destruction. Afterward, he turned toward the Sun God, whose condition had worsened even more.

He was barely hanging onto a threat of life and he would die if nobody were to tend to his wounds in the next half an hour.

However, that was not how long he would survive. Half an hour would be a luxury for the Sun God.

? His eyes landed on the loosely hanging right arm of the Sun God and he swung the sword, intending to cut down the arm and get his hands on both the Sun Divinity staff and the Divine Relict.

Unfortunately, he was interrupted before he could finish his attack, as expected.

"Hold on, human!" An imposing voice reverberated through the flying island. It came from above and Dilan halted his movement, also expected.

He looked into the sky above and paid attention to the three human-like figures for the first time since they arrived.

"What is it, Archangels?" Dilan asked, distant and cold. He grasped the Sun God at his weakly flickering flame mane and shot into the air.

With his comprehension of Green Magic, he could do much more than levitating in the air while holding onto a quasi-dead Lesser God, but Dilan didn't intend to show off his powers.

The three Archangels had already witnessed his strength, they knew that he was not just a human Ascender at the fourth Tier.

Three Archangels, all Lesser Gods, possessing Essence crystals, levitated only hundreds of meters away from Dilan.

The pressure they radiated was tremendous, almost fearsome, yet, Dilan stared at them with disdain.

"You were about to kill everyone inside the flying island, you know?" He stated factually, his voice as cold as ice.

The three Archangels, two women, and one man, however, didn't seem to be all that bothered about that fact.

"Our Powers gave us the permission to attack this place as long as we can retrieve the Divine Relict. It belongs to our Power and wants to have it returned to its arsenal!" One of the Archangels, a woman with golden hair and golden eyes, answered.

"So what if your Powers gave you the permission? Does that mean you couldn't have asked us for the ring first before acting like barbarians?" Dilan retorted, his expression clearly showing his contempt and disgust.

The silver-haired female Archangel that was right to Goldy, the golden-haired Archangel, manifested several light longswords in her surroundings in a response to Dilan's insults but he could only sigh deeply.

"That's exactly what I mean. Look at this barbaric behavior. She just knows how to use violence. What kind of Power do you serve to be so powerful as a violent Essence Angel? Shouldn't your powers be pure and with holy thoughts, beliefs, and ideals? I cannot really see that in your attitude, Silver Chicken!"

Dilan looked truly dissatisfied at the attitude of the Silver Archangels but his words stung her pride. She was just about to move when Goldy lifted her hand.

"How about we calm down now? I understand how you feel but we thought that the Sun God created a secret base in this well-hidden place. Our Powers merely told us to destroy this place to make sure that we can avoid any kind of trap!" Gold tried to calm everyone with her words and she cleared her throat to look at Dilan with a gentle smile. "How about you give us the Divine Relict… and we leave the Sun God's corpse and his faux Divinity to you?"

"Now you're asking? Funny…" Dilan laughed, ignoring the proposal he was given, and his expression remained stoic. He knew that Goldy was giving him an option for peace and a win-win situation that might as well end in beneficial terms.

But that was not what Dilan wanted…who said that he cared about a win-win situation if he could take everything while the others would lose everything?

…There were only three Lesser Gods in front of him…and the Divine Relict was in his hands. Who said that he was at a disadvantage?

He stopped the fake laugh after just a few seconds, thinking that it was not necessary, "...follow me…"

His voice was quiet, but still loud enough to be heard by the three Archangels. They frowned because they had been given an order by a mere mortal but Dilan was currently holding the Sun God in his hands. If Dilan reacted fast enough, he could destroy the Divine Relict, or kill everyone by forcefully unleashing the power of the Sun Divinity with the use of the same attack he had issued earlier.

And this was something the Archangels wanted to prevent because they didn't desire to die…not yet.

As for the Sun God, that poor fella was already on the verge of death, and he was not able to access his Divinity, not anymore….

"What about the ring?" The male Archangel asked, grasping the handle of his sword, ready to fight at any time.

"Chicken slave number three, just shut your mouth and follow me if you want to get your master's ring," Dilan said, not even turning around to answer as he turned into a flash, flying away from the flying island…and the people he had to protect.
