When Dilan thrust Oricalm high in the air, tremendous force was released.

Dilan was pushed downward, his feet bust through the stone path he had been standing on and stone fragments were flung through the surroundings as the path gave in below him.

Silver-white lights shone brightly within and outside the Oricalm Lance as a compressed silver-white beam was shot out from the tip of the Lance.

It was the result of the fusion between the compressed Destruction Domain, an oversaturated Immortality Aura, and an overflowing, chunky layer of Destruction.

Dilan's Power of Destruction was already powerful but the massive amount of mana and life force he had used for this attack exceeded any attack he unleashed since he returned from the City of Trials…and that was clearly noticeable.

The massive silver-white beam pushed Dilan's feet deeper into the ground but that was not everything. It felt like the entire flying island began to tremble. The flying island was shaking and it looked like it was pushed downward…centimeters…a few dozens of centimeters…meters…

"What…is going on here?!?" Lara screamed at the top of her lungs as the flying island was pushed further down. Meanwhile, Dilan's body was pressed into the ground that gave in after the Destruction Domain burst forth.

It stopped shrouding only his body and exploded with tremendous power. A large crafter was created, destroying the surrounding landscape with Dilan as its center. Only the bloodied body of the Sun God was left behind, coloring the wet earth below him red.

"Dilan is going on…" The Queen's Image answered, her eyes focused on the silver-white beam that burst high into the sky where it pierced through the huge light longsword that began to tremble strongly.

The compressed Power of Light that had formed the longsword burst open, unable to pose any resistance to the Destruction Immortality beam Dilan had released.

In the end, the three human-like figures had to move aside to prevent being harmed by the beam that dispersed after more than ten seconds had passed.

The flying island stopped trembling once the silver-white beam dispersed, and Oricalm slowly changed shape once again. It disappeared in Dilan's chest…or the area where his chest was supposed to be.

Unfortunately, there was nothing left. Even the Hyel Destructo Armor Set was damaged beyond recognition. If Dilan hadn't recalled the armor set inside his soul before the core was broken, he would have lost one of his best pieces of equipment…the entire set, in fact!

Thus, it was fortunate that, at least, none of his pieces of equipment had been destroyed.

But that was only what Dilan thought…nobody else felt fortunate at the sight that unfolded in front of them, not when those who knew about Dilan's power.

"Oh…my…god…" A young Ascender mumbled before she collapsed on the ground. She fainted at all the blood that spurted out of Dilan.

Gasps escaped from everywhere within and outside the palace of the flying island, and thumb sounds indicating that more Ascenders collapsed rang through the ears of the stronger willed Ascenders.

However, nobody turned in their direction because everyone was fully focused on the crater that had formed around Dilan…or what was left of him

His legs were twisted in all directions. It was impossible to recognize his legs if one didn't know that they had once been legs…however that was not even the worst.

Dilan's right arm was no more. Countless tiny bone fragments were all that was left of his right arm…his right shoulder his chest…As for the rest of his upper body, there was not a single inch that looked unscathed. It was either burned, decayed, or twisted manifold…or it had ceased to exist altogether.

As for his head, Dialn missed more than half of his skill…and all of that was exposed to the young and old Ascenders.

Lara's legs gave in at the sight of Dilan and crocodile tears trickled down her cheeks.

She couldn't believe what she was just witnessing.

She knew what Dilan was doing, how he survived everything, and that he was in possession of the Undying Origin ability…but she couldn't believe the sight that unfolded in front of her…she didn't want to believe it.

"Is that…how he defeats Lesser Gods…?" Some Ascender from behind asked, his voice filled with confusion, shock…and pain, "I...don't want such powers…"

Dilan's brain squirmed as he began to move again. His body twitched under the pained movements and he could hear many screams from his right side. Unfortunately, he couldn't focus on them.

'I'm sorry that you guys have to see me in such an unsightly and disgusting manner…but that's how it is,' He just thought while the True Undying Essence and the mana he had used for his Origin ability were showing their unfathomable power.

The sound of flesh moving, bones regrowing and scratching over each other, and his muscles regrowing rang through the surrounding, followed by the miraculous sight of Dilan's body healing within seconds forming a grotesque memory that was imprinted into everyone's mind.

They would never forget what they had witnessed today.

"I was envious…of that…?" A different Ascender from before asked, clearly disgusted and afraid.

Would he be able to sacrifice his body over and over again just to execute a single attack that had the power to injure a Lesser God? Was he willing to witness his body being torn apart dozens, hundred, maybe even thousands of times before he would be able to defeat his opponents…just because they were a little stronger?

Why had they even been envious of Dilan's tremendous strength? They didn't know anything about Dilan and the sacrifices he made to become the powerful being he was right now.

But even now…he was just a small fish in the Ocean…However, he was a fish that never gave up on himself, a fish that could unleash the power of a dragon, slay a dragon…and become one himself, slowly and steadily.

Was anyone truly willing to live a life filled with constant pain…the literal pain of dying over and over again, just to become a little bit stronger.

Were they strong enough to achieve that? None of the Ascenders who had witnessed Dilan's execution of the Destruction Immortality thrust could answer that question.

However, what they could say for sure was one thing.

Dilan was willing to sacrifice himself for others, he was a true Leader!
