The fights in the City of Trials had always been a little bit weird.

At first, Dilan felt as if his body was that of a perfectly ordinary human being with the same characteristics as himself before the Primordial Ascension.

However, that feeling changed whenever he was practicing the techniques of the Soul Shards. It was as if his characteristics were adjusting to the requirements of every technique. As for the amount of mana he could use to practice the techniques at hand, he had unlimited usage of mana in the City of Trials.

This was a stark contrast to his experience in the Colosseum, and it made him feel as if he was not in the 'safe zone' anymore but that he was finally stepping out into the real world…once again!

It was exciting, especially after he missed out on the feeling of killing and spurting blood all around him for a total of ten thousand years!

With more than twenty Goblins left to fight, Dilan couldn't take a break yet. That was not necessary, to begin with, but there was also an enraged Goblin Shaman that wanted nothing more than his death.

Dilan had destroyed the Goblin Shaman's treasured staff, and it wanted nothing more than to kill him in return. This desire was also why it conjured three fireballs at the same time. It wanted to burn Dilan and reduce him to ashes!

The fireballs were thrown at him at the same time, and Dilan saw them coming. If he wanted to, he could simply roll to the side and escape the fireballs with ease.

But that would mean he had to waste the precious opportunity ahead of him which he definitely did not want to do.

Thus, Dilan exerted Green Magic and manifested a total of three wind needles and two strong air currents.

The air currents blasted through the gap between the three fireballs. The gap was enlarged and the outermost fireballs were pushed to the side. Meanwhile, the fireball in the middle was slowed down and pushed closer to the ground.

The heads of three Goblins caught fire when the fireball whirled past them, but if that were to be their worst problem, they could have escaped lots of trouble.

Unfortunately, with Dilan as their opponent, it would be quite difficult to escape doom.

He smiled lightly as he released the three wind needles. One needle was fired at the fireballs that popped like balloons. The only difference was that the balloons were a little bit more explosive upon erupting.

Dilan witnessed the fire curtain that spread all over the center of the arena and he nodded his head in satisfaction. Afterward, he turned his attention to the few unscathed Goblins. He wasted no time and dashed forward, slashed at the throat of the closest Goblin, and threw the body in the burning hell of burning bodies.

Afterward, he twisted his body to evade the spear thrust of two Goblins before he kicked their spear shafts, breaking them apart. He released two wind needles, pierced their hearts and averted his focus elsewhere afterward.

The remaining Goblins were killed in the blink of an eye, leaving only the burning bodies and the Goblin Shaman alive.

While the Goblin Shaman was trying to pay attention to Dilan and conjure a small fountain of water, Dilan grasped one of the dead Goblin's spears. He used all his might and a monstrous technique to throw the spear more than sixty meters high in the air.

With tiny adjustments made with Green Magic, the spear ended up digging deep inside the abdomen of the Goblin Shaman.

The monster screamed at the top of his lungs and it was struggling to get up, only to fail to realize that the tip of the Goblin spear had lodged itself into the Colosseum arena's ground.

"Will you summon 120ish Goblins in the third round? I mean that's fine with me," Dilan teased the Trial of Powers while finishing off the remaining burning Goblins.

Only the Goblin Shaman was left alive, but that monster could wait for a moment.

'Let's see if they sealed this as well!'

Dilan cut his hand using a bit of force and he could see what he wanted to do.

A few seconds passed, providing him with the desired result. 'Undying is a lot weaker because my Health stat is not high, but I'm still healing like no one else.'

His Origin ability, Undying, was not sealed, probably because it was considered to be one of his innate traits. That was pretty helpful in the Trial of Power.

But it was not as if he was actually worried about not passing the Trial of Power. There were only three rounds left before he could be considered to have passed all three Trials.

"By the way, I've gotten a perfect score for my first and second trials. What will be the reward for getting a perfect score in all trials? And don't tell me it's Ability Merits…I'm already tired of the Primordial Ascension's Support system…" Dilan tried to joke a little at the end in an attempt to hide his real emotions in his reply.

If it weren't for the access to various shops, the messenger and a few other options, Dilan would have long ago discarded the Primordial Ascension's support system.

The system was quite bothersome even if it had been created for a good purpose.

The Oracle thought about his words for a moment before she gave him a vague answer.

"As long as your compatibility is high enough with a treasure in the City of Trials, you will be allowed to take it with you!"

Dilan recalled every single treasure in the City of Trials and his expression improved drastically. There were quite a few things that attracted his interest, especially weapons.

However, it was just a moment later that he recalled something much better than a mere weapon and his eyes began to gleam brightly as he looked high into the air, where the Oracle was hovering.

"How about two treasures instead of one? Be a little bit more cooperative, please! The Eternal Darkness was already granted a treasure without participating in any trials!!"
