[Do you want to sacrifice the System to attain true strength?]

"Is it possible to give up on the system to gain more strength?" Dilan wondered upon seeing Ariel's message.

He had been in contact with Ariel Silvertale for quite a while and the woman was definitely very helpful. Her knowledge transcended the mortal realms and Dilan was pretty sure that she was quite old and experienced. If he was not wrong, she might have already attained the sixth Tier.

Of course, Dilan couldn't be sure about that but he considered her rich knowledge as a clear indicator of her wisdom and power.

[Why should I sacrifice the system? I can gain a lot from the system that came forth with the Primordial Ascension, so why should I sacrifice it? What are the perks?] Dilan simply asked before he spent the next few hours traveling to the Chaos Islands.

He visited the Chaos Islands, made sure that they were not dangerous anymore, and made a mental note of the things he noticed about the different types of environments on top of the Chaos Islands.

'A few exotic Gates leading to isolated realms, probably with powerful Monsters and unique treasures can be found within them, but other than that, everything seems like a normal environment, nothing special', Dilan thought. He was slightly disappointed that the matured Chaos Islands were nothing but ordinary floating islands with a bunch of unique Gates on them.

One could easily live on the Chaos Islands and have a nice life, but that would become a little bit boring after a while. At least that was what Dilan thought, ignoring the fact that most unique Gates would also have Gate breakouts leading to the emergence of numerous monsters at once.

[If you're a newly awakened race, the system helps your body to adjust, your mind to develop, and your Essence Crystal to overcome numerous hurdles easily. The latter is something Demi-Gods want to make use of in order to attain Godhood. They want to create their own Divinity Fragment with the supporting powers of the system and become True Gods.

That is something you might have already figured out by now but I believe many races are trying their utmost to come over to Milarn because of this special support that only the System can provide.

However, you are probably not in need of this special support. If you're truly in possession of the Divine Occupation from this Primordial Ascension, your Essence Crystal will be on a completely different level than that of others as well. Abandoning the System won't bring you any disadvantages.

On the contrary, you might gain a lot by abandoning the system because you will gain the opportunity to wield the true strength of an Ascender, not the sealed and limited power that the system allows you to wield after killing billions of beings!]

'What is wrong with her? Why would she be worried about me all of a sudden? Is she even worried, to begin with?' Dilan squinted his eyes at the sight of Ariel Silvertale's messages and he fell into deep thoughts.

Maybe her words were correct and she was telling him nothing but the truth.

Maybe it was better to sacrifice the System to make use of the true strength of an Essence Crystal.

Maybe he should listen to Ariel Silvertale.

But…why was Ariel Silvertale so eager to tell him information such as the content of the messages she had sent him?

At most they could be considered close acquaintances. Dilan didn't even feel as if he was friends with Ariel Silvertale.

It might be possible that they had a connection and had clicked when messaging each other but Dilan didn't think that this was worth more than considering distant friends.

Thus, he could only shrug his shoulders while looking at her messages and divert his attention to something else.

"If sacrificing the System would truly be as useful as Ariel says, nobody would want to get their hands on the Primordial Ascension's system as well. Maybe my Divine Occupation would make a big difference here, but I got my hands on the Ascendior Sacred Knight occupation because of the system…" Dilan mumbled to himself before he figured out something he could make use of.

[If I were to believe you, what would be the most efficient and fastest way to sacrifice the System? That means without losing anything I've attained until now!] He asked Ariel Silvertale in the personal chat.

He hadn't planned on sacrificing the System right now, but if her words were to be true, he could always take the emergency line and use Ariel Silvertale's means to escape.

The System was something mysterious, something Dilan knew almost nothing about if he were to be asked about its origin or story. Thus, he couldn't plainly ignore Ariel Silvertale's messages even though they arrived at a very interesting timing…just after the Gates of Thousand Realms gained access to Milarn!

He took her messages into consideration, and accepted everything gratefully but did what he felt was right instead of actually doing what she was hoping for.

"I wonder what you are trying, Ariel!" Dilan asked himself and his eyes turned cold because he didn't believe that Ariel Silvertale had good intentions.

**

"Miss Silvertale, why are you so interested in this human being?" The voice of a young female resounded through the entrance hall of a gigantic palace.

Dense currents of white and purified mana swept through the hall, where several human-like beings with several pairs of white and golden feathered wings were kneeling down.

Their heads were bent low and all of them were kneeling in front of small stairs that led up to a huge marble throne where a woman with four pairs of humongous white wings was seated.

The woman wore a golden halo that shimmered in bright light, further highlighting her glowing golden eyes.

"I'm more curious to know why my secretary dares to question my actions!?" The woman on the throne asked in a seemingly monotonous tone. However, the moment her voice rang through the ears of the higher Lifeform, their body subconsciously moved, pushing their head closer to the ground.

Instead of kneeling on one leg as before, now both their knees touched the ground and the Angels ended up bowing down toward their Queen in complete supplication.

"O-of…Of course not, my Queen!" The young female Angel quickly responded upon regaining her senses. A mysterious pressure weighed down on her entire body but she was trying hard to not tremble and not invite the wrath of her Queen.

"Mind your words when you speak to me," The Queen of the Fairy Angels, Ariel Silvertale, said, staring deep into the soul of the young Angel.

"This human is far more interesting than you can fathom. He was actually able to stop the Hordes of Chaos and Destruction, and advance to the third Tier in such a short time…" Ariel Silvertale mumbled to herself.

She started to frown while looking at the messenger crystal that was weakly connected to the Primordial Ascension's System source.

Without the messenger crystal, she wouldn't be able to communicate with Dilan. After all, she wasn't in possession of the Primordial Ascension's system, just like most users of the Divinity Mission Board!

But that was no problem because she would soon get her hands on the system, and the last ingredient she needed to advance her Essence Crystal and attain Godhood!

"Not long…it won't be long anymore before I will come for you…system…and my little human…Dilan Cier!!"
