Dilan was satisfied with the Ability Merits he had received upon leveling up and he was also very satisfied with the gains he had made in terms of powerful Essence crystals and the difference between a Tier-2 and a Tier-3 existence.
[Will of the Primordial] showed him that he could increase his stats up to 750 Units instead of 500 Units, which would have been the highest raw stat an existence at the third Tier would be able to attain.
This was certainly good but it was also something he had expected, so it was not a surprise.
He closed his eyes and fell asleep with Kathrine next to him.
An unknown amount of time passed before he woke up again.
'I didn't move an inch,' That was the first thought that popped up in Dilan's mind when he realized that he had woken up in the exact same position he had fallen asleep in. As he blinked away from the sleep, he felt a weight on his stomach and his arms.
When he looked around Dilan realized that Yvonne, Kathrine, and Victoria had fallen asleep next to him. In their sleep, they had moved closer to him because it had started to snow but none of them had enough power left to get up from the ground.
The Warfare against the Hordes of Chaos and Destruction had drained them way too much. The girls could only huddle around Dilan where they felt the most heat and the safest as Rory had created a small cave of sorts. She had used her body to coil around Dilan, leaving a wide space for him and the others to rest in, while using her humongous leather wings as a replacement for a rooftop.
Dilan and the girls were protected from the influence of the surroundings and they had finally given in to their exhaustion. All of them had entered a deep slumber, including Rory, which is why she was still asleep as well.
The Soul Imprint that Dilan had put on her and the weeks of work had been more than enough to tire her out. Thus, after the draining Warfare, even the prideful and glorious Tier-4 Red Dragon was too exhausted to put on a farce of being energetic.
She had slumped to the ground and cocooned others around her leaving the responsibility for others to take care of the mess they had created. Dilan had woken up from his sleep and was trying to get up from the ground but the girls were subconsciously holding onto him.
They were still asleep, which was why Dilan chose to lie down for a while and give them the rest they deserved.
He stopped moving and allowed them to snuggle upto him while he was staring at the bunch of notifications that had appeared in front of him.

'The Names of my Occupations change all the time but their usage doesn't really differ much…so why change the name, to begin with?!' Dilan thought, looking at the next holographic screen.

'As expected, only the stat augmentations and my physique have improved,' Dilan smiled, feeling pleased with the results.
He felt like using his Ability Merits to advance both [Mana Slash] and [Aegis' Shield] but he decided against it.
'If I can create a stronger version of Mana Slash with the use of the Power of Destruction, I might as well use my Ability Merits differently. It should be possible to create a stronger version of Aegis' Shield as well…' Dilan sighed as he recalled how powerful the Lightning Wind Destruction Slashes had been. Not only were they stronger than his Mana Slashes but they required less Mana as well.
That showed quite clearly that abilities were not omnipotent and that he could figure out ways to increase his strength using other means. The easiest ways for him to become stronger would be to increase his stats and strengthen his abilities and further pieces of equipment. However in the long run the harder way of including studying various techniques might as well result in much bigger rewards.
'I will use them later then,' He thought with a shrug before he turned his attention to the other system notifications.
Dilan could also retrieve the millions of Chaos Essence crystals he had accumulated in his storage ring but not all of them belonged to him and he didn't want to wake up the others by absorbing millions of Essence crystals.

"Gates of the Thousand Realms and the Battlefields of the Ancient Gods…is that a reward for annihilating the Hordes of Chaos and Destruction or a punishment?" Dilan grumbled to himself before he sighed once again.
It was not as if he expected the system to leave them in peace. Nonetheless, both the Gates of the Thousand Realms and the Battlefields of the Ancient Gods sounded quite dangerous…and like great opportunities.
'System, convert all my points to Dungeon Points and use them to buy the information I want to know!' Dilan ordered in his mind and it was just a moment later that the system heeded his command.

Dilan took a deep breath when he felt the influx of information and searing pain spread through his head not long after.
Information flooded his head and he began to process it as quickly as possible. For the next five minutes, Dilan had no clue of what was going around him but his mind felt refreshed and was teeming with knowledge he had to put together for coherence.
'So it looks like the Battlefields of the Ancient Gods can be compared to a survival of the fittest game, just that you have one life every month and that dying inside it doesn't result in death in reality,' Dilan figured before he diverted his attention to the information that belonged to the Gates of the Thousand Realms.
Camsun was the first continent to gain access to the Gates of Thousand Realms, which was exactly what the name suggested; Gates leading to Thousand Realms.
These Thousand Realms had also gained access to enter Camsun, which meant that an enormous amount of monsters, other races, and different kinds of beings would find their way to Camsun in no time.
However, Dilan was fine with that because his interest was more in venturing to the other realms instead of allowing other beings to come to his world.
His path would inevitably lead away from Milarn if he wanted to attain more strength as quickly as possible. At least that was what Dilan had concluded after facing existences from other planets. Under normal circumstances, not even Tier-3 monsters would be able to emerge on Milarn, and Dilan, including a few other people, had already attained the third Tier.
They advanced much faster than the world itself, meaning that they would either have to help Milarn to buckle up, or they would have to slow down their advancement if they wanted to stay on the planet.
But the latter was something that would become quite difficult for Dilan because not even the system seemed to feel like helping him improve at a 'slower' pace
