Revolvers where a tricky firearm to use, it required a lot more attention and a lot more speed than what other guns could bring to the table. Plus unlike other guns where the method of introducing ammunition to it is easy, for a revolver you would need to do so on the fly, right in the heat of battle and make sure you don't get your head blown off.

Now normally that would be the case if Cole was facing off against perhaps other players or humanoid NPCs. But goblins have always been the staple in other games to describe stupidity and bad luck in the evolutionary chain…. This was not like those other games.

*boom!*

Cole was thrown backwards, his back smashing against the elevator walls, as they dinged open and left his body lying halfway into the dungeon and halfway into the elevator. From his position on the ground he could hear the goblins snickering to themselves.

Cole quickly got up to his feet, and the moment he did so the entire ruin was awash with red spots and dots. The red spots on the bodies of the goblins were probably weak points, but those within the ruin itself were probably signs of where the goblins had booby trapped the floor... there was a lot of it.

"Vre ze shege be ze be ze Vi!" Cole scoffed as he looked at what could only be a goblin shaman trying to either talk to him, or perhaps was it attempting to threaten him, if that was the case then it wouldn't work.

But regardless, Cole was not going to make the mistake of underestimating the goblins again.

[Spectral Rover]

He felt a massive drain of his energy as the world seemed to change into purple and blue hue. Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion, and the goblins began to move like they had no idea where Cole was.

Cole really needed to check the descriptions for his skills some more, he had absolutely no idea what they did and yet he would be using them in the heat of battle like this….. that was risky.

He moved forwards, his speed a lot faster than he would have expected, and as he moved Cole realized that he was actually moving through objects.

Honestly the high speed movement of spectral Charge had been lost, and honestly speaking he really wasn't happy about it, as he loved the boost of speed.

And it was not as if he didn't have a boost of speed now, however this was more controlled. And it wasn't as if this was a boost of speed, this was a freaking stealth skill, not a movement skill…. He was moving in some weird sub dimension or something, and apart from the that energy expenditure was extremely massive.

Cole appeared behind the Shaman, much to the shock of the other goblins as he placed his hand on the Shaman at point blank range whilst simultaneously casting [Lesser Mind Control] on the closet goblin to him; rather dirty thing with a crude shirt spear.

"Keke me ke!" the mind controlled goblin turns around and whacked a comrade of his in the head, sending it tumbling to the ground and causing a severe amount of confusion as the other goblins, 7 of them in total asked in their ugly language why the other had attacked them.

His response had been to attack the next goblin in sight, buying Cole enough time to do this.

[Sin Eater]

A deluge of energy rushed into Cole's body, while it wasn't as much as what he could receive from a Nijat alien, this was still significant enough that if offset a bit of the lose from using the [Spectral Rover] skill.

Cole rushed forwards, jumping into the air as he evaded a red spot and pulled out both revolvers and squeezed their triggers.

*bang! Bang!*

A bullet through the eyes of two goblins was enough to break even the one under mind control out if his stupid as they all turned around and rushed at Cole.

He noticed that the other calls were keeping to themselves, which meant while they seemed intelligent, they had mechanics that had to be followed. So he would only accrue agro from whatever camp he was currently attacking.

Cole wasn't much taller than the goblins, the Raen Spawn was extremely short, he was just ahead taller than them, which made them ample targets for combat practice. Cole took a step back, his heel almost brushing on top of a red spot.

He quickly pivoted his body to the side and stretched his foot forwards. The goblin rushing at him with a spear tripped and landed face first on the red spot Cole had just evaded.

*Boom!*

An explosion of goblin flesh, blood and brain matter showered around the rest of them as Cole used the shaft of the gun to deflect two quick dagger strikes, before smashing his head forwards into the face of the goblin in front of him.

A squeeze of the trigger sent a bullet smashing through its throat as Cole got careless and took a spear in the gut.

He took an involuntary step back before shooting the goblin responsible, bring down their numbers to three. He pulled the spear out, as prompt popped up at the side of his vision.

[Demon Constitution Active!]

Cole felt more than saw the sound close up. There was a small loss of energy, but in the end it didn't matter as he had gained one of the most coveted type of skills in Titan Rising Online…. The healing factor type skill. A must have for tanks in the Frontline and solo players…..

Cole let out a happy laugh as he rushed forwards, using Spectral Rover once again to get used to the skill. He sowed up behind all three goblins before sending a single shot to the spine for each of them. The world resumed it's normal. Color as the goblins began to keep and squirm in pain.

[Sin Eater]

He had to use the skill individually for each goblin, but by the time he was done his energy had topped off, as the smile on his face seemed to get a lot wider. As it stands he would never have a reason to buy health pills or injections again.

Even energy capsules were of no more use to him now, as he could regain energy and even health from using [Sin Eater] and now [Demon Constitution] would heal him out of battles or for those battles where getting energy through sin Eater was not an option.

*Bang! Roooooaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrr! Me du Ke, Ve Du Me!!"

A tenth goblin blasted out of the tent with a roar as it's 6 foot tall massive grey body barreled through a couple of Fred spots to smash into Cole.

Cole was sent flying, a process of which he absolutely did not enjoy as he suddenly found himself smashing against the door of the elevator again. He crashed to the ground, but felt his warning instinct from his sin seeking eyes warn him of incoming danger.

He ducked to the side as the hob-goblin smashed against the elevator doors. Cole proceed to empty the clip of both revolvers into the larger goblin. And while the creature was pushed backwards and on the back foot, it didn't fall.

There was no time for Cole to start putting bullets back into the chamber of his revolvers so he quickly holstered both guns and pulled out the short sword that was sheathed on his back, of course due to his smaller size, the short sword was more like a longsword for him.

A Blast of [Gravity] from Cole's left hand was enough to push the Hob-goblin backwards and off balance as Cole rolled forwards and came up slicing at the hob-goblin's ankles. Going deep enough that bone was even shown.

The goblin let loose a roar of pain as it smashed its massive first down as it fell forwards, but Cole was not going to be squished by the big brute.

So he raised his left hand and released another more concentrated pulse of [Gravity]. The Hob-goblin was blasted off its feet and onto it's back. Cole jumped forwards, falling on the screeching Hob-goblin as his short sword found purchase in it's throat.

A quick twist and a wrench to the side completely removed the head of the Hob-goblin. Immediately he did so, all of the red spots in his gaze around the first came vanished.

the explosive traps were probably set with magic by the Hob-goblin, with him dear now, there was no one to give energy to sustain them…. For the first camp Cole was victorious….. now he just had to do this 20 more times.

Cole kept a wary eye on the rest of the camps as he placed eight bullets in each chamber for his revolvers.

None of the camps were acting like Cole had not just wiped one of their own, it was almost as if they were programmed… and frankly speaking seeing something like this was a bit weird for him…. But in the end this was a digital world….. things like this could happen.

Either way, without a rifle to handle long range attacks, Cole would have to use a different set of approach, but before that…. It was about damn time he saw just what his skills were capable of.
