Chapter 481 481: Boon: Entropy-Rose
Cole could not stay here for long, as far as he knew it the things in this dungeon would have heard him and. Azrael's fight, seeing as they were not exactly being quiet about it. He had to get our of here, and find another safe spot to hole up. The lucky thing about this though, is the fact that this time, he was not the one who had to retreat, but given the sheer talent that Azrael' has shown so far….Cole was sure their next meeting would be far more interesting than their previous ones.
Cole started moving north, making sure to stick to the shadows as he used [Erasure] making sure to stay completely hidden. There was almost no energy drain if any at all when using Lyren's skills, but that would probably be because the chaos wolf was an entity all to itself. Cole wondered though if this is what being a power ranger feels like.

He found a door that led to stairwell and am elevator too. But the elevators had long since stopped working, so the stairwell was probably the best option if he wanted to move about and around. But that was the obvious choice, Cole ignored it and went ahead to pry the doors to the elevator open, moving back just in time to dodge the floating, frozen body of someone who might have once lived here.
Cole paid no mind to it as he got into the elevator, turned and closed the doors. Within the elevator Cole could see food wrappers, a blanket and a couple of clothes. Whatever had happened here, it seemed the person who's corpse he just say had tried to hole in up in the elevator, unfortunately it was not as safe as they would have wanted.
Cole had pending notifications to look through, but he had to be absolutely sure the elevator was secure, so he floated upwards to the hatch at the top of the elevator. He opened it up and was exposed to the darkness of the elevators shaft. If course with his night vision seeing through the gloom was not a problem, which was why he was able to notice the aliens squid mechanical monsters that he had seen before.
There were literally hundreds of them, attached to the walls of the shaft. Their red eyes glowing in the gloom, pulsing at intervals in a manner that was akin to breathing for Cole. He swallowed and quietly closed the hatch back. For a moment he contemplated finding somewhere else, but there was no time, he'd better finish up with what he could from here before moving on to either leaving the elevator or facing the monsters in it's shaft.

Cole felt the change almost immediately, both in stat and from the technique. He opened his palm and used the Gravity Rings technique once again, this time instead of two rings, there were three. Utilizing the technique was a lot easier now than before, and his range should be about a kilometer in radius now. Not as much as the range he had before level 100, but he'd get there eventually.
As for the stats, it was crazy but the stats grew based on the total level of it's techniques. Cosmic had the storm calling and gravity rings technique. With the gravity ring technique now level 2 and the storm calling still level 1, it made the cosmic stat reach diamond rank III. This, seemed to easy to Cole, but as with all the things the system has thrown his way, he was sure there was probably a caveat to it somewhere.

Honestly Cole expected much more from this but ultimately it wasn't too bad. This was not that different from when he first gained the weapon, not to mention this boon or effect would be active even if he did not use BlackMalakai, hit for every technique in his kinetic stat. It was not a bad addition to his arsenal, and this was an advantage. Even if he could not deal with Azrael' immediately, three strikes and he was fucked, long enough for Cole to deliver the finishing blow.

This probably has to be the best news he has heard or seen so far. Movement has been a problem for him since reaching level 100, and funny enough it hasn't even been up to two or three hours, but everything just seemed as if it had taken place over a significant amount of time. Either ways, comprehending this technique should solve his problem of movement and not being able to properly attack Azrael or chase after him.
So far for Cole it has been all about defending and counter attacking, but with this technique. Once he comprehends it of course, the next conflict would be very different between the both of them. Soon enough it would be difficult to tell who was the hunter and who was the prey, Cole was coming with a vengeance.

The elevator door rattled as something huge smashed against it. Cole jumped in shock and Lyren's voice grumbled at the back of his mind.
"oh come on! Give me a break!" The chaos pup complained as Cole contemplated what to do, seems there was still some more running in his immediate future.
