Chapter 470 470: Level 100 II

Cole paused, there was no ground in the void that he had found himself, but he sat down regardless as he pondered on what he had just discovered. Life was not so simple, even after all the shit that they had gone through, earth would still be 8n a vulnerable position once th3 incursion was done.

They needed more time, honestly though it wasn't as if Cole cared about the rest of the wider world. He was human but now he has his own people to look after, but they too had their own people to look after, plus building a new life for himself and his family once the smoke had cleared would be hard to do without the strength to back it up.

All he has been doing so far was to find a way to not get swept up in the currents or buried under the might of more powerful people who would come here with the intention of stomping on the weak and taking advantage of their universes resources, Cole really needed to figure out a way to even the playing field, or buy Raens as much time as they needed.

Either way that was the problem for the future, Cole looked at his list of skills trying to figure out what he would discard or combine and which stats to put them in. Well no time like the present.

Combining his skills was not something he could not do without a little thought. While many of his skills had wonderful synergy with each other, Cole had to be honest in say others did not. To the point that he has skills that he doesn't even utilize for a lot of fights, so now he had to analyze, discard and combine and then attach the new created skills into the stats. He needed six new skills, six skills that would be the basis of his abilities going forwards.

A new start and a chance for Cole to covered and strengthen his foundation again. For one, perhaps a jack of all trades is not the way to go, not to mention his new stats, did not seem to make him much of a physical attacker, maybe not to the extent he would like but the stats he has now, makes Cole a sort support or strategic individual.

But jumping to conclusions about what his stats could really do and how they would affect his skills was not the right way to go about it, so just starting would be best.

[ The Skills: Lesser Mind Control + Shielded Mind + Vertigo= Mind Smith]

[The Skills: Aeronaut + Shadow Dance + Spectral Rover= Rift Strider]

[Error! Race skills like Sin Eater And Demonic Constitution are considered bloodline skills and Can Not Be Leveled Or Combined, Only Evolved From Ranking Up! Evolve Race To See Bloodline Skill Page.]

That was an unexpected development, but it actually made things a bit easier for Cole. Since most his Main Raen skills would become bloodline skills and can not be touched or combined or at least nothing can be done until he has evolved his race, and as A level 100, Cole could feel the evolution at the edge, just waiting.

Another thing he had to tick off his list once he was done with what's in front of him. He shifted his attention back to his notifications, not just seeing the changes but feeling them as they happened in his body.

[The Skills: Assassinate + Vertigo= Disequilibrium Field]

[The Skills: Technoman + Adaptive + Energy Manipulation= Technopathy]

With there only being six stats, Cole only had one more chance to combine skills, as one of those nodes would belong to the Chaos Lord skill. But honestly the skills left were not ones Cole felt like discarding, they had to do with the core of his combat abilities, never the less perhaps he would just combine everything together or discard either the [mind smith] or [Technopathy] skills.

But perhaps mainly the Mind Smith skill. With the Bond, Cole was not one for mind control, and even more so apart from perhaps the passive protection shielded mind had given him, Cole did not rely on his lesser Mind control skill much, it had only seen extreme use when he had first gotten it on the first floor against the Nijat Aliens.

[The Skills: Chaos Mirror + Shockwave = Aegis Knight]

[The Skills: Gravity+ World Storm+ Star Fall+ = Auric Galaxy]

[The Skills Soul Eater and Soul Bank are Stat Generated Skills! The effects have carried over into the new stat Animus at a Limited Function]

? Mind Smith: Mastery over the inner workings of the mind, with the ability to twist perception of reality and the restructuring of memories and thought. It also makes its user's mind akin a vault, hidden in a fortress, hidden up a mountain, hidden in the middle of an island in the middle of perilous seas. The mind smith is shaper of all minds and master of their own.

? Rift Strider: The ability to walk the line between all dimensions and realities. A mile in half a step, a universe in two, the multiverse in ten. The one that strides the rift is a friend of all and none, for he comes just as quickly as he goes.

? Disequilibrium Field: The ability to create a field of destabilizing energy that would keep all enemies confused and off balance. The one that holds this skill can overturn the laws of nature within a given area…or even within the body of their enemies, you can not touch them, for even your feet will fail to find balance.

? Technopathy: The skill that is God of the modern era. Comprehension, Communication, Control, Creation! The four C to the skill of being master of technology. Even if it's technology of sufficient advancement that it could be considered magic, the welder of this skill can bend it to their will and given enough time create technology from the very blood in their body.

? Aegis Knight: A defender and an attacker, but a defender mostly. The power to master barrier or shield abilities of any sort, with the ability to add to cause reverberating damage with any strike with this skill. A hit from an aegis Knight would feel like ten, two hits would feel like a hundred, the only downside to this would be their slow speed, but if you can withstand the force of mountain, what need is there to move.

? Auric Galaxy: An Individual that is a galaxy unto themselves. The full and total manipulation of any stellar phenomenon,. From gravity to meteors, to solar flares, to volcanic eruption within planets, typhoons, storms, earthquakes. But limited in its scope, this skill is a pure combat skill, designed to cause the highest amount of damage by raining fire from the heavens and spewing the wrath of God from the depths of the earth.

? Chaos Lord: Chaos becomes you, a fundamental part of your existence inextricable linked. A Lord of Chaos is one who has bonded to the concept chaos on an existential level. They don't just control it, they are it! Whether as heavy hitters, utilizing raw chaos to cause utter destruction, or subtly, warping reality into the chaotic, or whispering in the ears of man to start wars. A Chaos Lord Does it all, and even more, the very manifestation of a building block of reality.

Of all the skills present, without a doubt Cole knew he had to drop one. This was the total sum of what he had become and achieved from the first floor dealing with those disgusting Nijat Aliens to just dealing with a fantasy Kingdom that's been in a civil war with itself for half a millennium.

He had to be honest, he was reluctant to give anything up. This compressed Cole finally saw how all his skills, truly could synergize. Plus he hadn't even used all his skills spots if not there'd probably be more options for him to pick from. But in the end it didn't matter, everyone was still going to end up at the same place, the idea wasn't more skills but how much of those skills you understand.

No matter how he looked at it, Cole knew Disequilibrium Field was the one to go. It was an area of effect skill and while it's uses would be amazing if you consider the fact that he would be able to teleport or at least move very fast, and then there was kinetic.

However Auric Galaxy was an aoe based skill, his control over gravity was still ingrained in it, he could increase the gravity in a particular area and still be able to move fast enough. Not to mention the world Storm, and Star Fall skills that make it up. Cole could theoretically within a domain of his control summon and manipulate any natural phenomenon in nature, whether they're on the planet or off it. This truly was a combat skill, it was for the heavy hitters.

But this was it for the skills, Disequilibrium Field would go. Now he has to worry about where to place the skills, then go through the rest of his notifications, this was proving to be by far….his largest gain of power yet.
