Chapter 464 464: Te Boreas: The Wolf War VIII
It was forty minutes later that the lady returned and flung a couple of fingers through the gate at him. From what he could see they were all little fingers, but they came from different bodies, even that of a child. Through the bond, Cole could Aiteen rage and scream in agony, Cole told her to be quiet. These were just finger bones, and since Aiteen could somewhat see and sense through his eyes, when he lets them, she could confirm that these fingers were indeed from members of her family.
And while that was painful for her, Cole could see the fingers were still bleeding and extremely fresh too. This was proof that the king and his family were still alive, and that was the reason Cole had waited, he had baited them into giving him confirmation. If it had to take the little fingers of the king and his family to do so, then so be it. Cole looked down at the fingers on the ground then used the sheathed form of Black Malakai to draw one closer to himself.
"So they're still alive. That's good, that's very good. Well we might as well get this over with." He said to himself as he got back up to his feet and looked at the woman armored head to toe in red.
"The next time I come out here, it would be with an entire hand and not fingers. And the longer you resist the more limbs we will cut off and the more body area the cut of limbs would encompass, so if I give you a hand next time, be damn sure to know it's an arm that's coming next!"
She huffed at Cole, and held his gaze trying to intimidate him as she pulled on her Titanium Rank aura…, but it was just from a single stat, to Cole she was like a basket with holes and a house built with important parts missing from its foundation. He was not scared of her or her power, she was weak and because she was weak thinking she was strong he would dominate. Cause Cole was all about bringing the mighty down from their perch.
"Wait, don't leave yet." Cole called out to her as he pointed at the gate standing between him and her and the army, then he raised his hand to point at the spikes bars at the top of the gate as he said to her.
"If this gate is not open at the count of ten, I'll impale your damn body on those spikes and strangle you with your own intestines while I'm at it. Look at me and look at me well, whoever the fuck you are, I'm not a game don't fucking play with me.
I will kill your mother and father and your children and their children and every thing you love, and I will do it slow, right in front of you, putting a cursed cut on their body by the thousands until they are rotting from the inside out, and right before your traumatized gaze I will feed upon their departed souls.
And you will watch in agony…as a specter, a shade, a soul in my own stomach. But that can be avoided, so I'll give you an offer. Open this gate before the count of ten and surrender, and you will live, your family will live and you would even be considered a hero with a full royal pardon. Or"
"Or what?" the woman asked, cutting him off as she looked at him with fierceness in her eyes. She genuinely thought Cole was beneath her and incapable of being a threat to her no matter how dangerous his reputation was. But Cole decided it would be best to solve that attitude of hers quickly.

She took a couple of steps back as the rest of the army behind her all brought their weapons to bear. Her back met another, as Cole had vanished from his position, she didn't see him, but the army behind her did. Cole had come out of her own shadow like some creature from a person's worst nightmare and horror. As she took those steps back, her back met Cole's and he said to her.
"Or you die."
She stiffened, Cole did not say anything again as he waited for her to react. Then without missing a beat, he started counting, shocking everyone present when the number 1 came out of his mouth. Why would he need to count anymore, he was already through the gate and there was no one else there.
"2…3…4…5!"
The woman attacked, her power immense as she released a powerful shockwave as she swung her spear. The shockwave was so powerful that the gate, the ground and much of the army were blasted away, full blown Animechs lifted off the ground and thrown into the inner district like they were paper toys.
Cole held the spear in place with his hand, without even turning around. Of course it was taking all of his power to keep the energies of a titanium ranked individual at bay, but he was doing it none the less. Cole truly was a master of punching above his weight class, he turned to her and repeated an iconic phrase from an equally iconic movie.
"So you have chosen death?"
And then without fail he turned and smashed his foot into her midriff. The gate had surprisingly survived the woman's attack, seemed they were really made of sturdy stuff. Cole hadn't been sure he had enough power to bring it down, and the fact that the woman's body smashed into it with such power that she, and individual in the Titanium rank, broke all her limbs
Of course that was just the gate, no one was saying anything at the power behind Cole's kick. The truth was that Cole was not holding back this time, right now he was functioning at his highest possible level, and it was a lot. Cole walked up to her, grabbed her by the neck then raised her up. By this point with how much red was on her, he could not tell which was blood and which was the armor.
"I'm sure now you know that I'm not playing around. Even now your Animechs can't do anything to me, and no my dear they hesitate to attack not because they are afraid they'll hit you, it's not hurting you that they fear…. It's Me!
Now tell me where the king and his family is. Don't play games, don't be a martyr, you might still be able to walk out of this, you'll go to prison or get executed of course but who knows. But to save you less pain, do tell me where I can find them and."

Cole moved his head to the side as the woman spat at him. He pulled Black Malakai out of it's sheath and stabbed it into her stomach, but lightly, piercing through armor to the soft flesh below. He pulled his blade out and stabbed his hand in.
"Arghhhhhhhhh!"
Her screams were enough to rattle his ear drums but as far Cole was concerned they were only just beginning. He grabbed a hold and pulled, she convulsed from the pain but Cole used his left hand to steady her and hold her head open as he used her own intestines to wrap around her neck, tightly enough that she choked.
Then he jumped into the air with her in his grasp. By this point she was passing out from the pain, but with a stat in the Titanium rank she was a lot more resilient than most, a normal person would already be dead.
Cole threw her down, using [Gravity] to increase the force of the throw. The woman had passed out, but the moment her body pierced into the spikes on top of the gate, she woke up screaming and trashing as her blood spilled down, Cole turned to look at shocked army and said.
"I am a man of my word. Now is there anyone around you who knows where the king and his family are, I know you fuckers would definitely not keep them in the palace…"
Instead silence was all that met Cole, the guild members looked at each other and back at Cole. Looks like none of them were high up enough in the ranks to know where the king was being kept, except for the trashing corpse atop the gate.
"No one? None of you know anything do you?....well that's a damn shame….kill them all."
A howl was heard as the very earth erupted with massive spikes and shadow animals away with black flames spilled out of the earth to attack the Animechs and the guilds. The [Company Of The Wolf] unleashed attack upon attack on the first army in the internal district, there was definitely still some more to deal with ahead, but this one, this one they would decimate.
