Chapter 449 449: ORDER VS CHAOS I

Aleron watch able to put on a finer display of power. He waved his hands as a glowing script of the word [Stop] appeared in front of Cole.

The moment it did, Cole felt the overwhelming urge to just stop, not just moving everything down to his very soul would come to a stop, death if you will. This word was like reality, an absolute fact of order, an order from one that has control over it.

"I see you have realized what you are up against, a better version of what you are supposed to be, you are so broken in heart and mind that all you see the world in is a spectrum of black. You forget opposite it there's white, and as much mastery over it is need if you are to be what the Raen is supposed to be. The Keepers Of Order And Chaos."

*clang!*

Aleron opened his eyes in shock as Cole had broken through his skill and crossed the distance to slash at him. The man was barely able to get his sword out in time to parry the attack as he took 2 steps backwards and Cole took only a single step.

A weakness, and Cole sniffed it put immediately. Somehow Aleron had been able to hide his level and information from the rankings but, even if he was above level hundred, Cole had not been. Focused on leveling or his race, his one and only focus has and will always be the increasing of his stats. There was a perfect balance and harmony between Cole and his stats, and he two extra than most people.

In a straight up fight, Aleron would not be able to match Cole for strength, then. What about speed? Aleron smirked as his figured blurred out of perception. Cole raised BlackMalakai and using his left palm against the flat of the blade he defended against the sudden strike from Aleron that came up from his sides.

Cole took three steps to the side, almost falling of the central podium/stand in the meeting room. Come to think of it, this was not the first time he's had a fight against world leaders and their place of… …well leading!

Aleron pressed his advantage, this was an initial attack, he could not tell if he was faster than Cole from just that one strike, so he struck again, hoping Cole was unbalanced enough to take a glancing hit, the sword's special effect will do the rest.

Cole's body was like a snake, even when it seemed as if he was loosing balance he was able to right himself and not touch the ground at all, flipping BlackMalakai as he used both hands for an underhand swing that was infused with Negative energy, Aleron grunted as his attack was deflected and he was pushed back.

Cole seemed to pull his sword back for another attack, he and Aleron were already over extended and unbalanced from the attack. So they would both take a few steps back to gather themselves once again, but after pulling his sword back a few inches, he built up power from his calves and lunged forwards, stabbing BlackMalakai infused with both chaos and negative energy.

The word [Shield] popped up in the air, causing sparks where Cole's attack still pierced through and left two bloody holes in Aleron's chest, but the would itself was superficial, Cole just barely broke the skin of his enemy, as the man took a couple more steps backwards.

Aleron looked up at Cole, fury in his eyes as his eyes traced the rivulets of blood flowing down his chest to his stomach. Cole on the other hand flicked Black Malakai as it changed into a katana. He got into the basic first stance of [Black Demon Swordsmanship] hilt to the chest and center of gravity low as he built up power from his Core.

In his other hands, Azazel appeared in its hand gun form, incorporating the [Black Demon Swordsmanship] and the [Heavenly Gun Dance] mastery skill. And with the rest of his other skills to augment him, Cole was in an absolute mode for combat.

He shot forwards again, this time the word [Pain] was what Aleron used against Cole. It had come so suddenly and caught him off guard that he stumbled forwards, his own inertial throwing him forward and right into the swinging foot of Aleron, who smashed it into Cole's midriff and sent him flying away.

But Cole was not one to let extreme pain, stop him from fighting, not even death could keep him down. He stabbed Black Malakai into the podium, ignoring the screech of metal, wood chips and concrete that flew into the air as he arrested his momentum and used his own sword as a catapult to blast him back towards Aleron.

[Vertigo]

[Obsidian Fire Shot]

[Black Cut]

Aleron stumbled to the side, a little dazed and just in time for a fiery molten bullet to slammed into his chest and burst out into a extremely powerful concussive blast that dug dozens of volcanic glass shrapnel into his body. His entire back was blown out and the white suit he had on was irrevocably ruined.

[Heal]

Cole watched in annoyance as all the damage that he had just melted out was undone in an instant. This power Aleron has, this power of [Order] not to sound very 80's villain but it had to be destroyed. And if not destroyed Cole had to somehow find a way to contain it or claim it.

There was a familiarity to the power though, the assassin from a whole back that had just attacked him from no where gave off a similar feeling. It…..they felt like something he absolutely could not fight or argue against. But it was not a feeling that he couldn't squash, in the end Aleron was right. [ORDER] is the antithesis of [CHAOS] but it did not mean one was stronger than the other.

It was all a matter of understanding and mastery over the chaos and order skills/concepts. Cole focused on getting stronger in order to gain power, Aleron focused on getting power instead in order to be strong.

"I have to admit Aleron, you are formidable. And you are strong, probably stronger than me except for one sheer mistake.

You focused on making your mind too strong, you focused on schemes, you focused on a way to utilize the Raen bond to unearth secrets and manipulate people into being pawns on your chessboard. You assume you embody what a true Raen is supposed to be, but you abuse your power over your brother's and sisters the very moment you noticed that connection.

Maybe you are right, maybe Raens are order and Chaos, but it has always balanced itself out regardless. Everywhere a Raen has sowed Chaos, Order and Prosperity arrives to create balance. Most of the time that Order comes from other Raens or their allies to sooth the damage of what we do.

I admit to the folly of being negligent of my position and the connection I now share with thousands of people. That is what had allowed you to manipulate me so well and put them in danger. But you crossed a line by fucking around where you shouldn't be.

I don't care what secret you found, I don't care what potential you uncovered, I don't care about your stupid opinions about my way of gaining power only inability to utilize what I quite agree is my greatest resource, and I don't care about you!

So die….. please?"

[World Storm]

*Bra~~Kram!*

A storm swept the entirety of the meeting room, a strange phenomenon even amongst skills. Lightning had immediately struck down at Aleron who quickly jumped to the side, multiple words flying around him like satellites.

[Shadow Dance]

*Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!*

As soon as Cole had appeared out of Aleron's shadow, the man had released a flurry of attacks that Cole blocked as a powerful gust of wind slammed into Aleron from the side, sending him spiraling into the air where his satellite of words followed him.

Lightning appeared underneath Cole's feet as he chased after Aleron. The difference between them in terms of how they mastered and utilized their skill was different. Aleron who was probably the person who took this system incursion seriously the most in the world had made a fatal mistake.

All skill were pliable, it would do the same thing but you could apply. It in a hundred different ways and make it stronger or weaker by the amount of energy you could put into it. Aleron was using what Cole would call a default setting.

His skills were utilized exactly the way the system activated it. It took tile for a person toaster their skills enough for them to tailor it in combat. But it could be faster if the person was willing to experiment and push the boundaries. Aleron was using his skill assisted by the system, bland with average and moderate power and absolutely no battle sense.

Aleron fancied himself an artist, but he was utilizing all of the skills with no finesse or ingenuity. Absolutely dull and incapable, he even had to stay in place to activate some skills, and that pissed Cole off even worse. The only thing the guy was using to keep up with Cole was the fact that he was somehow a more advanced Raen race than Cole.

Regardless, everything Aleron was doing now was only stalling the inevitable. In the end…..this space pirate would meet the pointy end of a demon's blade tonight.
