Cole sniffed, Cleaning his nose as he laid down flat on top of a particularly grassy hill overlooking a military camp. The people back at Te Boreas would rather take tiny hits at each other hoping someone would slip up so that they can gain more power and prestige. However in the month and a half that he has spent hunting down targets for them, Cole realized the Kingdom was nor particularly forthcoming with any concrete plans.

So Cole had to a little digging himself, and he found out that no one really wanted there to be any sort of change to the Status Quo. Between the Craftsman guild, the adventurer's guild and the Militia/Kingdom, no one wanted any big change as they all relied on each other to survive and maintain their governments. All those words about how the Kingdom wanted to put an end to the adventurer's guild for the consolidation of power and resources was just bullshit.

The Adventurer's guild it seemed was beginning to pull away from the kingdom in terms of power, even the craftsman guild had a recent boost in growth and influence. And this was mostly in part due to the influx of denizens that had come to the sixth floor. It seems the Denizens were more attracted by the idea of an adventurer's guild and a craftsman guild than joining the kingdom's militia for a more noble cause.

And there was the matter of the Denizens hating the aspirants, turns out the body of power with the most prejudice was the Militia, so with that out there, no way in hell would there be anyone willing to work for a bunch racist people. But Cole didn't know that, and even if he did it did not really matter to him. He had taken their money and would get paid even more to see it through to the end. But now it turns out that these guys were just using him for play...it annoyed Cole.

The idea of sitting on his ass did sit well with him. After the bandit outpost was taken out, all they had him doing was intercepting trade caravans and supply lines. Basically they had turned him from a mercenary to a glorified bandit on a payroll, which was usually the thing with most cases of banditry.

Never the less Cole did not like it, he was not growing and he was not making much change to his current ecosystem. Which was a no-no for Cole. In every floor he has been in all up until this point, he has left mark. But here they have relegated him to the shadows as a glorified errand boy, and by this point it has been more than a month since his grandparents passed. He was well on his way to getting over it, so the emo phase was over…..it was back to being a tyrant.

"I don't get it Commander, why are we not attacking the enemy now that they are off guard and are about to turn in for the night. Why do we have to wait till dawn, just as they are about to move out?" the soldier with the abilities over [Nightmare Flames] asked Cole as he too was flat on the ground besides Cole.

"that's because this is not like our usual kind of target, we're making a statement and doing this could potentially turn our benefactors against us. Either way it would throw a massive wrench into this status quo nonsense they have going on, and it would also cause the fucking Militia to take me fucking seriously! So I suggest you take turn in for the night, you're going to have a very busy morning." Cole said to the man as he sank into the shadows of the grass.

"Freak!" the man muttered as he turned to the side. Weather Cole heard him or not he made no reaction of it. His 30 man team were special in the sense that their abilities were not just unique, all 30 of them, whether Denizens or aspirants were all criminals. Or at least people with a significant amount of blood on their hands.

It also put a lot of things in perspective for Cole. Every floor that the Aspirants have gone through there has been bloodshed, and more often than not it's the innocents that are mostly caught in the crossfire. Every universe has experienced this sort of situation at least once, except of course for the 25th, but Cole couldn't tell which floor that was, but still. It seems the hatred of Aspirants by Denizens was nor particularly misplaced.

Never the less it was back to observing the army base that Cole was about to turn to ash. It was a joint missions group or something. They were archeologist and explorers, and this bloody forest covered half the damn planet. There were places in it that has never been set foot upon and it held secrets, danger and treasures in equal measure.

Every single guild lord had a vested interest in the continued operation of this particular army base. Cole on the other hand was going to rob them blind, this would bring the other guilds negotiating to his table and the Militia up on their feet. Of course this could prompt all the guilds to band together and deal with Cole, but he could care less. He was getting his Animechs one way or the other, and by this point he was pretty tired of feeling sorry for himself.

He needed to blow of some steam, and the best way to do that would be cause chaos, and what better way to cause chaos than to bring down not just one, or two, but three government bodies and throw an entire civilization into disarray…..what could be more chaotic…..than that!

"Forgive me Optimus Prime…..but I've got to dig deep this time.... Calling All Raens On The Sixth Floor! This Is Your Leader And As Of This Moment We Are Go For Operation Chaos! I Repeat Operation Chaos Is A Go!....Go fuck some SHIT UP! ROLL OUT!"
