Chapter 403 403: Welcome To Te Boreas III

Cole kept to himself as much as possible, the people on the main road into Te Boreas were all happy and of good cheer, not to say that all of them were like that. It was just that there was a lot of socializing going around, and Cole couldn't recognize any aspirant from the massive throng of people he was in.

It took almost the entire day before Cole was able to get close enough to see the walls of Te Boreas. It was then he also understood that perhaps he had underestimated he sheer scope and size of this city. The shadow from the walls covered them while they were a good 3 kilometers away from the gate. Cole had superior senses, and so far he has not had the time to really know the limits and range of his abilities in his Raen body, and now he had gotten stronger.

But stronger was not just the only change. Now that him not really understanding the scope of his sense had been brought to his attention, he took another look at his body. It took him a whole of five second to realize that he had lost a few inches in height and shed a few pounds of muscle. As a Raen princeling Cole was a good 7 feet tall, he had no idea he had even grown to that height, and he was built like a brick. Not overly bulky but he was still a man with very defined edges.

But now it seemed as if time had been rewound. Cole was in a smaller, the same 6 foot 3 height that was his normal height. His body became smaller, slim, fit, muscular, condensed. He was holding a lot of power with each coil of his muscles capable of bringing explosive force to the bear, but his power now was beyond just the physical. He was at the pinnacle, skin and bones as hard as diamond…..the diamond rank.

Cole shifted his attention back to the city as he watched people being administered in after being checked by a couple of guards, but it was not the guards in their armor that shocked him, it was the giant 8 meter tall mech suits with massive axes and blazing red eyes behind their visors that shocked him. With this level of technology why the fuck did he lose access to his gun and his armor, it was annoying.

But Cole could appreciate the technology, at a closer look he was able to realize that the mechs had animal like features. All of the mechs were rhino based, with a massive ivory horn stretching from in between their massive heads, to intimidate the people walking and getting out of the city. Beyond the impressive city gates, Cole could see a major highway with carriages, wagons and the same mechs moving about.

"Wow!"

It took Cole all of a second for him to realize that he was the one who had made that comment. He has been in space, mechs were a very guarded secret by governments? especially as their developments haven't been as great as other aspects of humanity technology had advanced. As such it was still the dream of every otaku in the new age that a time will come in their generation where massive humanoid and human controlled machines would do battle.

The basic shit they had back on earth was no different from cars. A mech, a honest to god freaking Mecha! Moved with a lot more flexibility than the rigid hunk of metal that co9uld only move forwards and shoot artillery. There was an almost lifelike quality to the Mechas, something primal….like an animal represented in the form of a living machine. Cole narrowed his eyes, he was getting some really crazy transformers vibes, it was all that his attention could latch on to.

In that moment Cole made his choice, then and there he would do whatever it took to own one of those mechs. He didn't care what he had to do, or what he had to become in the time he would be here on the sixth floor. He was going to be leaving here with a mech of his own, enough to outfit and elite force and the fucking technology/magic/ blueprints/ the fucking 'all-spark'? to build more!

"Halt! State your name and your business in Te Boreas stranger!"

Cole grinned as he? chuckled and moved closer, his pitch black Raen skin shimmering under the glare of the sun as his purple, red and blue tribal Raen tattoos seemed to dance with his excitement.

"My name is Cole N- Cole….Cole Raen… the world breaker. Perhaps you have heard about me? Perhaps you have not. But all you need to know is this! I am an inventor and I have come…. for that!" he exclaimed settling into a wild persona as he pointed at the mechs standing guard behind the guards.

The guard that was questioning him rolled his eyes as he looked down on a small book he held in his hand and started jotting into it.? As he wrote he said to Cole.

"You and every dumb idiot that comes to this town, claiming to be some chosen hero or dumb engineer, ready to usher in the next generation of Animechs. None the less if at all you dumb drivel means anything you should head to the militia compounds and enlist in the inner city, all engineers and mechs come from there…..or you just turn out to be rich enough to buy a nascent orb from the adventurer's guild. But give your err...current state…..id say you have no chance.

The Militia will straighten you out, or I will be seeing you soon….and saying farewell.? Behave yourself well in my fucking city Mr. World Breaker! Or we're going to have some serious problems! You feel me?" the guard asked as Cole gave him an innocent smile and nodded a few times, the guard nodded back satisfied that his attempts at intimidation had worked.

"Welcome to Te Boreas Mr. Cole Raen. Do enjoy your visit and stay."

"Why thank you Mr officer, and I assure you.... I WILL!"
