Black Malakai's form shifted into that of a great sword as Cole slashed down, dividing and elf in two as he shifted the weapons dimension into that of a dagger, and ducked down under a swipe from and Elf's bow and moved, faster than the elf could react to stab the weapon into his chest and then use [Sin Eater]

As the elf's body turned to dust he raised his weapon, shifting it into a regal but still demonic looking pitch black long sword. Then stabbed it into the ground, pouring energy into it in massive burst as he used Black Malakai's [Umbra Sword Garden!]. black flowered roots and vines with thorns surged out of the ground with Cole at the epicenter.

The roots spread across the battlefield, stabbing into one elf after the other without stopping. It was almost as if it grew more branches with every elf it stabbed itself into. But just using the [Umbra Sword Garden] was one half of the plan as Cole used [Sin Eater] using the vines as a connection to the elves.

It was a sight that once again brought pause to the battlefield. The sword garden was traveling at a rapid pace, in much the same manner the dungeons forest had swallowed much of London, Cole's [Umbra Sword Garden] swallowed the battlefield. Ignoring allies and focusing only on foes as a corona of golden lights filled the air.

Everyone watched as it streamed into Cole's body, a deluge of energy filling him to the brim and even spilling out into the area around him. But Cole was not the only one, Eze had deployed a massive spell circle that spread out above the battlefield and began drag out the energy of the elves that Cole had not been able to reach.

Frankly speaking Cole felt something was wrong. These elves were all gold ranked, and they were powerful, extremely so for that matter. However, compared to human...it almost seemed as if they were subpar. And then it clicked, much like how strength varied in different floors of the event. A level 100 person in floor one would be weaker than a level 35 person from the 4th floor.

Whatever fucking universe these elves were from, it seems their standard of strength was not as high as earth. The humans here were fundamentally stronger than the elves in every single way. This perhaps is something that they might have not foreseen. And this also made something clear to Cole about the system...it was not equal, or perhaps this was something that was beyond the system itself.

But now was not the time for Cole to be thinking or focused on something like this. After all he was still in the middle of a battlefield. He canceled the skill, leaving behind scores of desiccated bodies, much like Eze left scorched corpses in his wake. The remaining Aspirants were holding their own much better than Cole even expected. In no time at all the entirety of the battlefield had been cleared of elves.

From where he was standing Cole could see the remainder of the elves running back into the dungeon, it's entrance a set of massive wooden doors carved out of the giant tree's body. Cole chuckled as he felt the ting of a system notification, however trying to bring it up caused him a serious headache.

Only a fool would not realize that the level of energy here was not comparable to level of energy within King Solomon's Collegium. But then again the Collegium existed simultaneously in this plane and in the third floor as part of Raen Valley, which was why people could travel through fro. But if the energy here is this bad, then it would either be because it's the same where these elves come from, or this place did not exist simultaneously here on earth and back from where the elves are from.

Cole didn't know what it meant, but he got the feeling this was important. And the dungeon in front of him would tell him just why. He sheathed his word behind his waist as usual and gathered with the rest of the aspirants. At first nobody said anything, each aspirant sizing up the other before Kaito spoke up.

"The fuck are we doing standing in a circle….. don't we have elves to kill?" his aunt slapped a hand to his chest as she spoke up.

"Use your head boy, the elves aren't worth shit, and not to underestimate them but regardless of what they might have waiting for us beyond those doors, with Mr Sun God and the Dark Lord here, nothing they throw at us would out us down. But the issue of the claiming the dungeon remains….and that's where all of us will proceed to fuck each other up. We're just trying to decide if it would be best to start now before going into the dungeon." she finished with an annoyed look on her face, her eyes never leaving Cole's.

"but that would be stupid now wouldn't it? We really don't what is waiting for us in that dungeon, it would be better to work together first. But I'm sure that's clear to everyone. Whoever gets to the core first can keep it....but only if they're able to keep it away from me and Eze long enough to return to the World Council. So it doesn't matter what you all decide to do anyways...this dungeon is mine."

Cole gave a cheeky grin as he turned and faced the dungeon, moving towards it as Eze fell into step behind. It was obvious the rest of the aspirants wanted to say something. But all of them could feel it as they watched Eze and Cole march towards the dungeon. Something has changed in both men.

They all had seen the slaughter and the manner with which Cole and Eze had slain the elves. It was horrific and watching them leave, they all came to the same conclusion…..both men were hungry for more!
