Delarosa slid on the ground, Tehila held tightly in her arms as a bolt of fire flew over their heads. In the distance rushing towards them was the Raen army, but Tehila did not want any one of them fighting in this fight. With permanent death being on the table for each and every single one of them, it would be best for them to deal with these people from a distance.
"All forces retreat back to the territory, bringing up the territory;s defenses online. I repeat retreat back to the territory, anything other than absolute obedience will end up with that person being expelled from the territory." Tehila ordered as Delarosa leaped into the sky, shadows trailing behind their forms as they moved in a parabolic arc over a couple of trees.
A bright flash of light seemed to fill the sky as Farida fell from it, her body twisting rapidly as golden wings spread from her body, her rapier falling like a guided missile. Cassandra jumped into the sky along with Pollux, her massive war bow being pulled to the limit as she released a rain of arrows from the ground while Pollux seemed to have summoned a massive cannon from god knows where.
*Boom!*
The explosion shook the earth as Cassandra and Pollux's attack reached the ground first and kept the attacks and the advance of the northern glade blood mages in check. Keeping them rooted in place for just a few moments longer. More than enough time for Farida to come crashing from the sky like the avenging angel that she was. The light around her exploded outwards like a nuclear bomb, releasing a massive mushroom cloud of destruction along with the incredible shock wave that followed right behind it.
*Whoosh!*
The wind carried the scent of death and blood, filling the air with it completely as Morgan ran besides Delarosa then turned , digging his paws into the ground as his own inertial dragged him backwards while his machine guns slid out of his sides and opened fire on the remnants of the blood mages that had survive and jumped out of the mushroom cloud left behind from Farida's attack.
He gunned down three of them as Delarosa pulled out her sword, about to defend from another bevy of projectiles heading their way. Only for Tehila to raise her hand into the air and shout one word. [Stop] and for a second it seemed as if the entire world had stopped, but most especially the attacks that were being sent their way, as the attacks literally froze in the air as Morgans canine face seemed to expand, shifting itself into a massive cannon that he blasted straight into the chest of the sanguine Pontifex.
"I'm the grand general DIIIIIIPSHIT!"
Neral made his presence known as the cyber dog seemed to have been in hiding. His leap to him straight into the chest of one of the blood mages where his muzzle came back bloody, a still beating heart held in his mouth. He used the blood mage's body as leverage and jumped, his cannons giving him a bit of extra boost for him to land on Morgan's back, one massive wolf and a cyber dog against an army.
By this point they were already in front of the walls as Delarosa slowed down and turned, dropping Tehila who quickly summoned a small hand gun that she had been learning to use in order to better protect herself. Farida landed besides her, golden wings tucked into her body as Cassandra slid to a stop her bow held tightly right besides Pollux with a sniper rifle. There was a powerful bird cry and a crackle of lightning as Irma and Thunder-Jack appeared taking their place besides the top defenders of Raen valley.
Only six blood mages made it to the front of the valley's entrance. And rather than the people they had been chasing after to run into the valley for protection they instead came to a complete stop. The territory had been growing quite well recently, in fact it was already at the peak of silver and needed Cole present in order for it to move on to the next rank. But never the less as it was...it was more than enough to spot just be a deterrent for the blood mages, but a rock that they would be dashed upon, unshaken, and unmoved.
"You think your fancy walls and the weapons on it will protect you from me oracle? I am at the peak of the Gold Rank with two of my stats already crossed into the Diamond. Dealing with you and the rest of you parasites would not be too much of a problem for me. So surrender and I promise to let everyone else live, the only one that needs to die is you!" the Pontifex said as she pointed her fingers at Tehila who took a deeper breath before looking at the people brides her.
While Cole has not been really around due to always have to keep pushing forwards, she has been here getting to know the people, watching slowly as a culture is born and like minded people find solace with each other and the society they were building. She had asked them all to retreat, but even right now beyond the gates the army was waiting for one wrong move in order for them to descend upon the Pontifex and her approaching arm.
"We were having a good conversation? Why do you want to kill me all of a sudden?" Tehila asked the Pontifex who laughed and said.
"You don't even know what you are…..this is good. It means we still have time before you use that power to destroy us all and make your stupid valley of leeches one of the most powerful forces in existence. Let me kill you, because if you don't die by my hands today, then what will come for you will be a lot worse than what I can put on the field of battle." it was Delarosa who answered her, her energy blasting out in full to the sky as she said.
"Let them come!"
