They blasted towards each other, each person releasing an Shockwave of power as they rushed towards each other. The trees and debris around them was further blow back, but the moment their weapons finally clashed, it was like the epicenter of a nuclear blast.

*Bang!*

The wind seemed ruffled their clothes, as their eyes remained locked on to each other, and then the deadly dance began as Cole stepped forwards, pushing her backwards. She grunted in annoyance and snapped her leg forwards, Methuselah expanded rapidly, its head digging into the ground and serving a shield to deflect the kick. The elf did not even slow down as she followed up with a slash.

Cole used the flat side of Black Malakai to parry the strike, raising it over his head as he moved into her guard and with her over extended from the parry, Cole was able to snap his elbow backwards into her collar bone. But it never made contact as a palm met his elbow. But still the force behind the attack was still enough to cause her to take a few steps backwards as she brought her great sword slashing backwards like some sort of saw.

Cole used [Gravity] making it erratic that her sword was wrenched to the side, Cole followed it up with a spin as Black Malakai shrunk into the size of a dagger that Cole slashed at her shin….or rather he hoped, only to get a knee to the face for his efforts. He was thrown backwards, his body smashing through a wall as he found himself crashing through aisle in a tea shop.

Cole was sure he might have broken a few more bones than he was sure he had in his entire body. And healing was coming slow, never the less it was not over yet. But given how skilled this elf was, Cole did not think he would be able to face her fully in a battle of pure skill and technique. They would be waiting for someone to make the first mistake and whoever made that mistake…..it was going to cost them as Cole's partially caved in face could attest to.

Never the less she had an advantage and she was not going to give it up. She rushed forwards, gracefully twisting her body past any obstacle in her way to come to a stop in front of Cole, her great sword poised down for the final strike.

*Boom!*

[Shock Wave]

Made it's presence known as the elf was blasted up into the roof and out the building. Breaking apart concrete and vegetation, in her path upwards. Cole followed his eyes turning a deep shade of red and gold as he called upon a large chunk of his energy and sent it into both weapons.

But it was all for nought as Cole had to quickly cross both weapons together to keep his head still attached to the rest of his body. And with the reinforcement from the energy, they were able to withstand the blow from the elf's now glowing great sword. Another Shockwave was released as their weapons met, this one still powerful enough to flatten the building beneath them and devastate the surrounding 100 meter area around them.

They crashed to the ground and jumped back, separating as Cole observed her. It was almost as if they were evenly matched, but honestly Cole has been fighting her head on all this time, it was time to try for some little tricks. He shrunk Methuselah down to it's dagger form as he held black Malakai out, the blade changing shape to become a beautiful rapier with an ornate black and red basket guard.

The elf raised an eyebrow at Cole's new weapon. It was a joke, a rapier against a great sword, especially when you were fighting against a person that was just as fast if not faster than you, whilst wielding a great sword that weighed quite a bit. No matter how she analyzed it, it did not look like something a smart person would do.

Cole rushed forwards, and she responded with a wild swing that releases a beam of light and deluge of sharp winds in Cole's direction. Instead he vanished, even with the sky a bit clear there were still significant shadows around from the debris, and the tall tree in the distance that quite literally cast a huge shadow.

Cole popped up behind her only for orbs of light to detonate across his face. But he was ready for that as a [Gravity] shield protected him from it. But that was just a distraction on her part to buy her time, Cole knew this so he used [Shadow Dance] once again, coming out of her own shadow to stab the rapier into her calf, but just the tip. Before he used [Spectral Rover] to move backwards.

But she was there as soon as he got his foot her sword stabbing into his center, but a quick [Shadow Dance] took Cole out of the way as he took a few steps backwards his hand going to his stomach as he sent methuselah to his inventory. His hand came back bloody as he raised his head to look up at the elf.

"All that trouble to give me a small poke that didn't even break skin, and in the end a few more inches and I would have ended you. But even now, you bleed, and you will continue to keep on bleeding until I'm dead or you die. In which case the latter is more likely to happen." Cole chuckled, this was why it was good to have multiple trump cards, he raised the rapier in his hand, showing that the tip had a bit of blood on it.

But right before their very eyes the red blood began to bubble and turn into a black sludge that began to drip down the blade. Before ranking this sword to Gold rank, it took three cuts for the [Rot] Curse to take effect. And more than just that, the [Chaos Mirror] effect had already been triggered judging by the wound that showed up in her center.

She scowled as she looked down the wound, before shifting her attention to her calf where black blood slowly dripped to the ground and a stomach roiling stench seems to fill up the atmosphere. Cole flicked his rapier as Black Malakai shifted back into its long sword form. He held his left hand behind himself as he summoned methuselah, shrinking it and holding it behind himself away from the elf's sight.

"I think I'm doing quite well for myself, plus I'm pretty sure my rate of healing is faster than your swords bleed effect. I'll be fine soon enough, but you? Id like to see just how long you can last from your body rotting from the inside out. Either that or I take your head, either way…. you'd still be very dead." the elf scoffed at Cole.

"Now who's then one talking too much."
