All of their opponents were armored so Cole could not tell exactly what sort of race they were. But they had guns, lots of it, spitting compressed fire bullets. Unfortunately for them they were up against Raens, and their healing factor especially at the Gold rank was insane, enough to give even wolverine a run for his money.

Cole took the lead, jumping into the sky as he came crashing feet first onto the heads of two soldiers. Their heads went splat the moment their head met the ground. He stabbed his spear forwards, breaking through every defense in front of him to stab it through the neck of another soldier just as Eze came besides him, firing of a beam of sun energy from his chest like he was iron man or Havoc.

His superior flames which frankly speaking was just hyper focused light. It was the kind of weirdly powerful skill and abilities that Raens had. Never the less Cole was quite happy to see that just just like him, every other Raen was a mishmash of random but well synergistic abilities that were really powerful.

The Raens given enough time would grow into a force that could bring any power to heel. The rest of the Raen's tore into the army, despite being outnumbered, they excelled at dealing with multiple opponents, in fact if Cole had to be honest, there was not nearly enough enemies to deal with them.

As one of the soldiers from the flame nation crawled away from Cole, he could not help but say to the soon to be dead man, or whatever the fuck they were underneath those pitch black armors of theirs. "You guys should have brought more." Cole said to him as Raen grabbed the injured man by his helm and used [Sin Eater] draining him of every last drop of energy and life.

The entire encounter was quite boring in Cole's opinion, they needed more of a challenge if their growth was to be solid. Just running roughshod over every obstacle in their way, would make them complacent. Every Raen had to be in fights that forced them to give their all, it brings out their potential, just as it did for Cole. Never the less they were don with the soldiers on the beach in no time.

The ships were collected, apparently they could be kept in an inventory, and naturally they went into Cole's as he stepped towards the tower. There was a single door into it, and not a single window to be seen in the entirety of its structure from outside. Cole stepped forwards with almost no fear and pushed the door in, walking into a massive amphitheatre.

The rest of the Raens all filed in, entering a room that was much bigger than the size of the tower outside suggested. Plus what they thought was a tower was actually just a massive domed building, or perhaps there was more to it than anyone of them could possibly understand by this point, but never the less it was on to the next challenge.

As soon as the last Raen stepped in, the door closed with a bang, they all turned to see that the door and the wall it was attached to was gone. Instead them seemed to be in the middle of what looked like a modern underground coliseum. The architecture having changed from the original amphitheatre to that of an underground roman coliseum. It seems anything that draws their attention as a collective, would cause their perception of the tower to change once they're back to paying attention.

Or it could just be that it was teleporting them to different places or the building could change its form anytime their backs were turned. But no matter as long as they were all together, they would be able to navigate such a wide space. Cole quickly turned to see that everyone else was gone and he was staring at the end of a hallway. There were no other Raens but him here.

"So either a labyrinth or illusions." Cole said to himself as he picked his way forwards, if this was an illusion then it was pretty strong seeing as it could deceive all the senses. But to what degree Cole wasn't sure, and that was because he could still smell other Raens. Though none of them were particularly close to him, so perhaps this is more like a labyrinth but weird.

Or all of it just some really elaborate illusion. He shrugged and started moving forwards, going left when he reached then end of the hallway. He entered another one, then moved right at the end of that one before coming to another hallways and moving left, and left, and then right.

"Fuck this shit!"

Cole muttered to himself as he raised his hand up and smashed into the floor, using [Shockwave] in the process. The ensuing results was what once would expect when an idiot smashes a concrete wall with his bare fist. There was an audible crack as Cole's bones broke, all of them poking out of his skin as he held back an intense grunt of pain.

He couldn't cause damage to this place, and illusion or not, this was beyond his level of strength and power, this place was much like Deraka, power beyond what he could even imagine of reaching. He raised his head once more and found himself in a stone chamber. The rest of the Raens were with him, but they all seem absent, their eyes blank and staring into space.

Cole looked down at his broken arm that was in the process of healing and came to a conclusion. What he had seen were probably illusions of some sort. But the kind that can make the damage he receives in his mind a reality... this place just got a whole lot more dangerous. He knew exactly what he needed to do to get them all out of the trances, and he was sure none of them would like it.
