Since he couldn't kill tat pain in the neck bastard, he decided to 'sulk' though if you asked him he would tell you that he was only brooding about his inability to handle wat he considered an annoyance. Never the less he had something to take care of before he has to pick which of the quest to complete. If this was perhaps some sort of base building floor, then it would probably be a race between their glade and the other glades that would definitely have Aspirants. From what he could see, getting a little bit ahead would be good for them, because being in this glade had presented him and the others with a rather big problem.

"Where's the fucking Cradle." Cole asked silently as he brought up his notifications.

[Perception, Dexterity and Intelligence have each reached Iron Rank V chose either a mastery, sub stat or Knowledge augmentation]

[Soul Has Reached Iron Rank I, Choose Either a Mastery, Sub stat or Knowledge Augment]

Soul seemed to act very much like a chosen auxiliary stat, very much like his attunement stat. so he could only make such choices at the beginning of a rank, excluding the bronze rank. Never the less e was hoping that he at least was able to get some really good choices that cold synergize well with his stats and shore up some of his glaring weaknesses.

Perception gave him, Dark Vision for mastery, Clarity for a sub stat and Tracking for knowledge. Unlike the previous times he has had to make these choices, this was the first time that he was offered only three choices. He knew it was going to be that way until his choice in the next rank.

Once he got to silver he would be offered six choices again, but at gold I would be back down to three. Cole shrugged, as a demon he had no need for dark Vision, but it would be incredibly hard to take between Clarity and Tracking. If it was to go by the theme of this floor, then tracking would probably be the most important tool in his arsenal, but there was no telling if this would be of importance to him in the long run.

He was most definitely caught off guard with the theme the third floor had taken, and he honestly had no idea what the fourth had in store for him. Which made it an extremely worrying situation as he would not like to make a mistake. So instead of going after immediate gains, he went for what he knew could and would help in in the long run… there were skills especially his [Sin Seeking Eyes] and it preternatural sight that would benefit for the clarity sub stat, which made is a lot more important to him as the skill had saved his life one too many times.

[Perception has gained Sub stat Clarity!]

Next was intelligence. He had gotten a bit lucky as his intelligence had a mastery that was oriented towards technology. But there was no technology on this floor, the fact that the only thing he had left on him was his bladed weapon worried him a bit. And Cole didn't think this was one of those you level up your settlement and unlock technology level, because if it were then his revolvers and rifles would not have been taken away, heck even Morgan was absent, probably in stasis within his inventory with the rest of his growing arsenal.

Cole shuddered in anticipation, there was no telling just how much he would have to his advantage once he's on a floor that would allow him use all his weapons and advantages. Or maybe perhaps when he was back in his universe and usage of the system in its entirety becomes available. He would be nigh unstoppable.

Intelligence gave him the sub stat magic, the mastery psychometry, and the knowledge Basic Crafting. Crafting was automatically out for him, and while Cole would have oved to get a little bit more magic to help augment his abilities, he was already on a path that was slowly taking shape…. In battles he was speed and carnage personified, but ultimately he could also see the future. And while he hasn't been able to fully utilize the wide scope of his [Sin Seeking Eyes] skill, he could tell that it would be or could be the most powerful skill in his arsenal. And even if it was slotted to another stat, Psychometry was the best way to go.

[Intelligence Has Gained Mastery Psychometry]

Psychometry was the ability to see the past of an object after coming in contact with it… or at least that was the explanation he remembered. He had a lot of varied abilities now, but almost all of them had a synergy that was extremely powerful, and right now he was taking a step in the right direction to make himself a lot more powerful.

What came next was dexterity. Once upon a time this was the stat that with his most powerful. It seems like a lifetime ago really, but now has other stats had caught up. Dexterity was his primary combat stat, and while it did cover up for quite a few of his deficiency, mainly the absence of the strength and agility stat, it was still an amazing stat all on its own.

It's pretty much what allowed Cole to be able to move like some anime Ninja. He had noticed that even if a person had more speed than he did or had more power, he was always able to match up to them as he was always able to flow through his techniques and use his weapons better and faster than they could with theirs. Dexterity was not about how strong or how fast you are, it was a combination of the two that culminate in just how skilled you were… and Divyat had a lot of it.

Dexterity had given him Balance for a sub stat, and strangely enough tracking for Knowledge, but it didn't end there as finally it gave him Telekinesis for a mastery. That clinched the deal for him, all of hos combat modes and routines were mainly dependent on his movement skill and abilities, heck all his damage came from how well he could leverage his movement speed and body power… and then that was when Divyat realized something, but he held back on it for later as he picked Telekinesis and moved on to soul.

[Dexterity Has Gained Telekinesis]

1. Sub-Stat: Spirit

2. Knowledge: Necromancy

3. Mastery: Soul

4. Sub-Stat: Aura

5. Knowledge: Astral Projection

6. Mastery: Death

[Soul Has Gained Aura]

There really wasn't much to his choice for soul, Cole was not as conversant with the stat as he was with his others, so he just made a random choice. He would see where it leads, but apart from his new found ability to see souls… Cole wasn't too sure he was keen on seeing the end of the soul stat or where it leads, he might just as well have a world breaker of his own sent to kill his ass for heretical pursuits.

But he was doing good regardless, however he wanted to check something, ever since he got into the iron rank a particular passive skill of his had been weird to say the least, every time he healed his body felt a little bit different and Cole suspected only one skill, however the last time he had checked it, there was no change to it description. However this was a racial skill, and it was not just the ranking up that changed it, but also racial advancements and up until this point Cole had had two!

[Attunement: Demonic Constitution (Passive): heal passively from any and all injuries as long as there is energy available. Every recovery from injury passively increases the body's durability, strength and speed. Energy can be channeled into the skill to speed up healing process.]

There is was…. The Hail Mary that he has been looking for…, his very own plot armor. He dint need to worry about the strength and agility or even constitution stat, he had a skill that was taking care of all of those things for him, but granted of course he had to keep getting himself hurt in order to get the skill to make him as durable and fast and powerful as possible. Cole chuckled, very satisfied with what he had gotten.
