Chapter 470: Lu Guoguo, Looking Out of Place with Her Appearance
Lu Xuan’s power was so intimidating that the expression on that fallen angel’s face changed drastically. It was far different from the contemptuous attitude that it had taken initially when regarding Lu Xuan.
It was only then that the fallen angel came to see Lu Xuan as a formidable adversary.
He had never seen such a powerful human before.
Before that particular encounter, the fallen angel had utterly no idea that a human could be so insanely powerful. Upon finding out that such a human truly did exist, the fallen angel was shocked to the core.
The human was at a level of power that even the fallen angels have rarely heard of.
If the fallen angel were to be of the same level as the human, it would have most probably bolted right away, not even daring to stay around after witnessing all of that.
However, the fallen angel quickly regained its composure. Even after all of that, it believed that Lu Xuan was still just a human regardless of how powerful he was.
The difference in power between the two was there for all to see. There was no way for the human to turn the tide of the battle to his favor.
The fallen angel’s powers had dropped from an even higher level before after all.
It was at such a level of power that no ordinary eighth tier Divine Treasure Realm fighters could easily match. Naturally, the fallen angel remained fearless at that fact.
“Hahahaha, this truly is fun!” Lu Xuan laughed away. Even after fighting two consecutive frightening battles, his aura did not diminish at all. Instead, his aura continued to grow. It appeared to be more frightening than before.
Over the past several years, he had been spending almost every second thoroughly training himself. It had been quite a while since he fought to his heart’s content. He felt as if the aura all over him was raging at the moment.
The sensation was exhilarating.
That was why he refrained from using his Spiritual Aether and spells of any kind. He only fought that troll using pure physical power alone.
Even if the troll was far more physically resilient than the shadow fiend, Lu Xuan would’ve outright killed it with just several punches if he did use his powers.
There would have been no way the troll could have fought that long.
Lu Xuan pointed at the fallen angel and continued, “Well, looks like you’re somewhat capable, Fallen Angel. Surely, you must be better than the other two. Why are you still just standing there?”
He knew that the fallen angels were notorious even among the devils for being so arrogant.
Their master, who was known as the eighth prince of hell, was the embodiment of arrogance.
The fallen angels were also staunch followers of Lucifer, so one could even say that they were influenced by Lucifer himself.
The entire race was as arrogant as they could’ve ever been.
That fallen angel watched Lu Xuan kill the other two demons, yet it showed no intentions of fighting alongside them. That itself was enough to show how arrogant it was.
However, Lu Xuan didn’t know that the fallen angel refusing to see Lu as a worthy opponent was only one of the reasons why it refrained from fighting him.
More importantly, it saw how Lu Xuan was able to kill those other two with ease.
Although the fighters were at the same level of power, Lu Xuan never looked remotely exhausted during the fights.
After killing that shadow fiend with a single punch, he went on to easily shatter that troll using pure physical strength alone.
It was clear that all of that was far beyond the fallen angel’s expectations.
To put it simply, everything happened so quickly that the fallen angel was unable to finish process everything in time.
However, the fallen angel seemingly had no intentions of admitting that. He had simply acknowledged Lu Xuan’s contempt for it.
The fallen angel elaborated in rough, unpolished Old Latin, “Human, it is true that you are exceptional compared to others of your kind. The way we fallen angels see it, however, you have absolutely no reason to be so proud of yourself.”
Lu Xuan was able to completely understand what the fallen angel said.
“You fallen angels sure think highly of yourselves. Look at what era you’re in now. I’ve killed millions of fallen angels of higher rank and power than you before. Four-winged ones like you are hardly anything worth mentioning when compared to them.”
Lu Xuan flashed a cold smirk as he looked at that fallen angel. He would have deemed four-winged angels to be beneath his notice back in his past life. He was able to kill millions of them with just a single look in his eyes, after all.
“How insolent indeed!”
That fallen angel was furious right away, feeling as if Lu Xuan had just thrown a personal insult at it. the fallen angel felt so enraged. There was no mistaking that feeling.
As the fallen angel began chanting, a globe of gray devilish light appeared before it. A heavy sword about the size of a fallen angel then appeared in midair, which it then took in its hand.
It was plain to see that the heavy sword was a standard weapon for the army of fallen angels. Along with the heavy armor it wore, the sword the standard equipment that the fallen angels had when going on expeditions.
Another massive fallen angel was then conjured behind that fallen angel. The newly conjured one wore ancient gray robes, looking devilishly handsome. It seemed like some devilish god was descending to Earth.
Others might have not recognized that ungodly being, but Lu Xuan was very familiar with it. That fallen angel was none other than the leader of the fallen angels—the eighth prince of hell, the prince embodying arrogance, Lucifer.
While the being was only a construct that vaguely resembled Lucifer himself, that specter alone could bring about a terrifying pressure shrouding over an area over a 100-kilometer radius from Yunxuan Villa.
“What is that thing?”
From a distance, Lu Shanshan cast her gaze at the massive devilish specter that appeared in midair after cutting down a demon.
With a serious expression on her face, Liu Wanrong slowly said, “Lucifer, the Prince of Arrogance.”
It was obvious that she recognized that specter, even though it was not the legendary Lucifer itself.
Nevertheless, that specter seemed to have gotten its strength from Lucifer. Otherwise, it would not have come to be at that moment.
“Does this mean Master is in danger?” Yun Ling’er was feeling somewhat worried. The massive specter that she was sitting on stomped down tens of demons at once.
Lu Shanshan then said, “No need to worry. He’s capable of doing something about it.”
She was very confident in her brother. The morale among the people throughout all of Yunxuan Villa was boosted significantly. After Lu Xuan returned, nobody from the villa no longer considered running away.
A teenage girl was seen riding a massive rabbit into the battlefield. The girl sported chiseled facial features and had a great figure, making her resemble Lu Shanshan and Liu Wanrong to some extent.
However, the elegance of the image was offset by her wielding a pair of massive hammers, which were able to conjure two massive bolts of qi when she wielded them in the air.
She synchronized very well with the rabbit that she was riding, going in and out of the battlefield killing countless low-level demons. Just about none of them were capable of withstanding even a single swing of her hammers.
That girl was none other than Lu Guoguo.
Lu Guoguo looked just like every other girl in their late teens. She managed to maintain her appearance by training consistently throughout the years. Although she looked like an adult, her childlike demeanor still gave away her real age.
She was still underage after all.
“Come on, come on! Keep on killing!”
Lu Guoguo flung her hammers around as she continued to pulverize any demon unlucky enough to be in her way.
