Chapter 330 – Luo Qiqi Leaves
Luo Qiqi continued packing and ignored him. “Why are some people so domineering? They think they can make a unilateral decision on everything!”
Su Jincheng walked up to her, but he didn’t know how to explain himself.
“Qiqi, stop messing around!”
Luo Qiqi stared at him. “Su Jincheng, you know very well I’m not messing around!”
Su Jincheng then knocked her out with a swift blow to the neck.
A look of disbelief appeared on Luo Qiqi’s face right before she collapsed.
“I’m sorry, Qiqi. I don’t want to lose you. It’s okay if we can’t have children!”
He then carried Luo Qiqi and placed her gently on the bed before getting the doctor to confirm the operation.
Luo Qiqi woke up after nightfall to see a figure beside her, realizing that it was Su Jincheng only upon closer look.
Luo Qiqi shut her eyes again. Did he plan to send me onto the operating table without my consent again?
She finally called out, “Su Jincheng...”
Su Jincheng walked over to switch on the lights quickly.
“Qiqi, how are you feeling? Are you uncomfortable?”
Luo Qiqi frowned and said, “I’m hungry...”
Right, she hasn't eaten anything since afternoon.
He poured a glass of water for her and helped her sit up. “Have some water first. I’ll go get food for you!”
Luo Qiqi nodded and took a few huge gulps of water.
Su Jincheng helped her lie down again before turning to leave.
I’ll be quick. Nothing will happen.
However, he had underestimated Luo Qiqi’s determination to keep the baby.
Su Jincheng tried to be as fast as he could, but Luo Qiqi was already gone when he returned to her ward!
Though frantic, he felt anger bubbling inside him. Why did she do that!
He ordered for a lockdown in The Dark Night’s headquarters and for everyone to search for Luo Qiqi.
He felt that it would be impossible for her to leave since the entire place was sealed, but he spent three whole days searching for her to no avail.
What happened was that Luo Qiqi put on facial prosthetics and left right after he went out to get food. She had already left the compound before he returned.
Since her fingerprints were already registered in the system, she was able to exit the compound without a hitch.
He had underestimated her and forgotten that she was no fragile little girl. She was the fiery red rose who had the ability to terrify even the mafia.
Su Jincheng searched high and low for her for an entire month after Luo Qiqi left, and he even attempted to visit the Ye family home to see if she was there. However, the Ye family refused to let him in, and he wasn’t able to locate Luo Qiqi anywhere.
He visited every single place which Luo Qiqi was a frequent customer at, but it seemed impossible to find her!
After a year, he decided to give up. He knew very well that he wouldn’t be able to find her if she was hiding from him on purpose.
He knew that there was no way he could forcefully keep Luo Qiqi by his side if she was unwilling.
Su Jincheng seemed to become a much colder individual after that, and the frigid aura surrounding him previously only got more intense.

Five years later.
Su Jincheng stood in The Dark Night’s headquarters that overlooked the entire city.
It’s been five years!
Luo Qiqi had left him for five years, and he was still unable to locate her.
He knew that she was avoiding him on purpose, but he had never given up on his search.
On the surface, it looked as if he had already accepted that Luo Qiqi had left, but in fact, he had secretly sent his subordinates to search for her.
We’ve been apart for five whole years!
He wondered if he should return to A City to have a look, since it was her home. Furthermore, he hasn’t been back for the past five years either.
He thus decided to book an air ticket to A City.
He walked out of the airport and stepped onto the familiar-looking piece of land as he arrived.
He didn’t realize that there was a beautiful woman and an adorable little boy who were a short distance away from him.
The boy passed something to the woman beside him and said, “Mummy, I have a tummy ache. Hold this for me for a while. I’ll be quick!”
Luo Qiqi smiled as she watched him rush into the washroom.
That beautiful woman was none other than Luo Qiqi.
She looked out at the city, thinking, It’s been five years!
She contacted Ye Zhongjue five years ago for help and located Gu Yi’an.
She was able to deliver her baby safely with Gu Yi’an’s help, and she has been recovering well after that. She was in a much better condition now.
Even so, she refused to look for Su Jincheng. She found it hard to forgive him for wanting to abort the baby, even if he wanted to do it for her health.
How could he be so cruel to our baby!
Luo Qiqi got upset everytime she thought about this.
Furthermore, she felt unsure of how Su Jincheng really felt about her after Yue Wuxin’s death. She knew that there was no way she could compete with Yue Wuxin now, and she didn’t want to do so either.
All she wanted to do now was to take care of her son.
The boy’s name was Su Jinyu, and Lele was his pet name. She almost wanted to use Ye as his last name, since she was so angry with Su Jincheng at the time.
While Luo Qiqi was reminiscing about the past...
Su Jinyu knocked into someone in his rush to get to the washroom as he didn’t want to keep his mum waiting for too long.
He looked up to see Su Jincheng’s handsome face.
What a good-looking uncle, he marvelled. I want to look like him when I grow up too.
Su Jincheng looked down at the little boy in front of him.
“You okay there?”
For some reason, he felt a sense of familiarity with the boy, as if they had met somewhere previously.
He’s so nice. He didn’t scold me for knocking into him, and even asked if I’m okay.
Uncle Gu said that men like that are bound to succeed in future. This uncle in front of me must be an amazing person. He’s dressed well too.
“I’m sorry, Uncle. I was in a rush. Sorry for knocking into you. I apologize!”
Su Jincheng was impressed by how well-mannered the boy was. “I’m fine. Be careful next time. Go on!”
Su Jinyu nodded and apologized once more before running into the washroom.
Su Jincheng stood staring after the boy entered, as if he was in a daze.
He then gave a bitter smile before turning to leave.
Though Luo Qiqi was looking in the direction of the washroom, she didn’t recognize Su Jincheng when he walked out.
It was only after Su Jincheng was about to exit the airport did she realize that the man looked a lot like him. She tried to take a second look but the man was already nowhere to be found.
It must be a lack of sleep. I’m thinking too much.
Su Jinyu walked out of the washroom shortly after and said, “Mummy, I met a super handsome and polite uncle earlier. Like what you and Uncle Gu say, he’s a gentleman!”
Luo Qiqi laughed at this.
After exiting the airport, they spotted a white Ferrari a short distance away.
They walked over to see Gu Yi’an roll down the windows in greeting.
“Welcome, welcome, the beautiful lady and the little handsome guy!”
Luo Qiqi asked, “Is the lady more beautiful or the boy more handsome?”
