Chapter 295 – Turning into a Housewife
All of them looked up when the door opened to see Gu Yi’an with a handful of groceries, but Luo Qiqi was the only one who seemed surprised when she saw him.
“Yi’an, when did you become a housewife?”
Gu Yi’an’s expression darkened immediately. She’s so annoying.
He rolled his eyes at her and walked towards the kitchen.
Luo Qiqi tried her best to suppress her laughter.
Shortly after, Gu Yi’an started preparing lunch with Xia Zi’s help. Luo Qiqi suddenly rushed over to offer her help as well.
“I’ll help wash the vegetables. I’m very skilled at washing vegetables!”
Xia Zi looked at her, glad that Luo Qiqi seemed to have gone back to her cheerful self.

Luo Qiqi started singing as she worked, and she asked Gu Yi’an, “Don’t you think my singing has improved recently!”
Gu Yi’an answered without even looking at her. “I hope you won’t deafen yourself with that demonic voice!”
What? Deafen myself? Demonic voice?
She turned to Xia Zi and asked, “A’zi, is my voice getting better?”
Xia Zi nodded absent-mindedly as she answered, “Mm… You have the best voice in the world!”
Luo Qiqi frowned at this. “The both of you are so annoying! I’m not talking to you guys anymore. I’m going to the washroom!”
This reminded Gu Yi’an that he had washed Guan Zijue’s underwear earlier in the morning and left it in the washroom. He wanted to stop Luo Qiqi but it was already too late.
Upon entering the washroom, Luo Qiqi was greeted with the sight of underwear being hung to dry. She burst into laughter and ran out instantly.
Gu Yi’an’s expression darkened. Her mind is probably in the gutter again.
It’s impossible that all of those would belong to one person alone, and since Guan Zijue can’t do the laundry, I’m the only one who can wash our clothes.
Gu Yi’an shook his head. What’s wrong with Luo Qiqi!
Guan Zixuan looked at Luo Qiqi who could not stop laughing, then he turned to Gu Yi’an and Xia Zi before turning back to look at Luo Qiqi again.
“Luo Qiqi, what are you laughing at? What’s so funny?”
Luo Qiqi blinked at him. “I’ll tell you later at lunch!”
“Fine!” Guan Zixuan shook his head at this and continued chatting with Guan Zijue.
“Bro, did the doctor tell you when you’ll be able to fully recover?”
Guan Zijue stole a glance at Gu Yi’an before saying, “The Great Doctor Gu here says that I’ll need a couple more months, so I applied for two more months of leave.”
Guan Zixuan took a few seconds to process this, and he realized that ‘Great Doctor Gu’ actually referred to Gu Yi’an.
Gu Yi’an is skilled, so he’d definitely be able to take care of a patient with a fracture. But why is he taking care of my brother personally?

Guan Zixuan stopped immediately and looked at Guan Zijue in shock.

Gu Yi’an walked over to Guan Zijue very naturally and pushed him out of the room.
Everything looked so natural, as if Gu Yi’an had done this for the millionth time.
Well, this might be for the best, Guan Zixuan thought.
A feeling of foreboding crept up on Gu Yi’an when Luo Qiqi raised her chopsticks in the air shortly after they started eating.
What Luo Qiqi said next made everyone pause.
“Yi’an, you seem to be turning into a housewife now. You’re even helping Big Brother wash his underwear!”
I knew it. Luo Qiqi was only looking for the right opportunity to say this!
Xia Zi coughed as she tried to suppress her laughter while surprise appeared on Guan Zixuan’s face. He didn’t think that they were already this close.
Guan Zijue was the only one who remained as cool as a cucumber as he said, “Time to eat!”
