Extra 11

Zhao JianGui became Li Han’s death guard.

At night, when Wei Qi reported this matter to Li Han, it pretty much confirmed Zhao JianGui’s position.

Wei Qi arranged for him to stay by Li Han’s side, personally guarding Li Han’s safety alongside the head of the death guards, Fang Luan.

Fang Luan was a young man.

Seeing that he was only in his 20s and already responsible for the management of the demonic sect’s death guards, Zhao JianGui couldn’t help but feel immense admiration for this person. He thought: this must be another giant amongst men-- and only lamented that in the last few years, the righteous sect’s talents have withered, and missed out on this kind of handsome and talented youth.

Having to muddle through an entire day with those old foxes within his sect, Li Han only felt mentally and physically exhausted. After returning and greeting Zhao JianGui, he went to bed without even having dinner.

Meanwhile Zhao JianGui busy himself with getting used to the daily life of a death guard with Fang Luan. With his peerless qing gong, he silently hid on the roof of Li Han’s bedroom and watched wide eyed as Fang Luan pulled out an illustrated book from his pocket.

Zhao JianGui: “......”

He didn’t even clearly see the cover of the picture book in Fang Luan’s hands when he suddenly saw Fang Luan pull out a handful of sunflower seeds and a small pouch from his pocket as well, and then silently stuffed one in his mouth. Moving his mouth silently for a moment, Fang Luan spat out two pieces of undamaged seed shells and threw them inside the small pouch.

Zhao JianGui was stunned by the view. After a moment, he suppressed his voice to ask Fang Luan: “What are you doing?”

Sunflower seed in mouth, Fang Luan raised his head to look at Zhao JianGui rather innocently and said quietly: “A death guard’s daily duty of surveillance of course, Zhao-daxia.”

Zhao JianGui: “This is surveillance?”

“Keeping watch at night is very boring.” Fang Luan said: “Zhao-daxia, keep your voice a little quieter. The Sect Leader sleeps lightly and his ears are very keen. Don’t wake Sect Leader up with your noise.”

Saying this, he spat out two pieces of seed shells again and turned the page on the picture book, saying: “As expected, I hate night shift duties the most.”

Zhao JianGui: “......”

Zhao JianGui thought Fang Luan’s actions were truly outrageous.

A death guard was responsible for Li Han’s life and safety. How could he act so frivolously?

He couldn’t help but feel somewhat irritated. Wanting to correct Fang Luan’s negligent behavior, he said indignantly: “You’re the Sect Leader’s bodyguard. You should protect his safety well!”

Stunned, Fang Luan became even more innocent.

“Zhao-daxia, wake up a bit.” Fang Luan said earnestly: “With the Sect Leader’s martial arts skill, it’s him protecting us, not us protecting him.”

Zhao JianGui: “......”
