Chapter 32 – We Belong In Different Worlds (3)

Yu Duo stood up and was just about to leave before she stopped, turned, and stood back in front of Fu Sinian’s grave.

Ah Chi should still be there, she had no choice but to stay there longer.

Luckily, it was cloudy today, so standing there wasn’t as bad as it was two days ago.

Standing there for a while and estimated that a sufficient amount of time had passed, Yu Duo walked back toward the entrance of the cemetery.

When she got there, she saw Ah Chi smoking outside his car. Yu Duo took a deep breath, walked up to him, and said, “You are still young. You shouldn’t smoke too much.”

Ah Chi paused for a second and put out his cigarette. He dare not look Yu Duo in her eyes, “Sister-in-law, why don’t I give you a ride back?”

“That’s alright, Xiao Zhang will take me. I am sure you have other matters to attend to. I don’t want to take you away from them.”

Ah Chi’s smiled was forced, and there was frustration in between his brows and eyes. An unintentional glance and he noticed the hint of red marks that still weren’t completely gone around her neck.

“Sister-in-law, your neck.... You are having an allergic reaction?” freeweb(n)ovel

Yu Duo quickly covered up her neck.

“Have you gone to see a doctor yet?”

“Yes, I did,” She pulled out the grass paste given to her by Master Wen, “He gave me these.”

“Oh, good,” Ah Chi opened the car door for Yu Duo, and she climbed inside.

Luckily, Ah Chi had no wife either.

Yu Duo let out a long sigh.

The next morning, she went with Aunty Lian to the most well-known Qingfeng Temple and had a tablet set up for Fu Sinian. They lit incense for him and wish that he would arrive at Nirvana quickly.

Yu Duo got an inscribed bamboo stick and it was a superb stick. She looked for a master at the temple to interpret it. The master didn’t say much, except for four words, “Everything will be fine.”

That meant the incident has already blown over, right?

Whatever little doubt Yu Duo had left in her was wiped away and she was no longer worried.

Fu Sinian is dead and went to reincarnate. She has nothing else to worry about.

She could finally start planning her itinerary of travelling around the world!

She couldn’t possibly go traveling around the world right after the death of Fu Sinian. That would ruin the appearance that she was madly in love with him.

But now, enough time had passed.

She pulled out her cellphone and typed into her friend circle on Weibo, “We made promises that we’d travel the world together, but now I am the only one left.”

Clicked and sent!

Even Yu Duo was impressed by her own wit. She was definitely getting better and better at this!

The sentence was short yet the inconsolable grief could be felt through the screen. Just 17 words and everything was laid out and set up the stage for her future travels. With this reason, it’d make perfect sense when she went travelling!

As the widow of Fu Sinian, she was going to travel the world and experience all the cultures for her dead husband. She was going to go on to fulfill the dream that he could never fulfill himself. For him, she’d brave the arduous and lonely trip on her own.

How does the saying go? To fool others, you must first fool yourself.

Yu Duo felt moved just from all the planning.

“Husband, don’t worry. I will travel the world for you!”

Action speaks louder than words. Yu Duo began her planning right away. freewe(b)novel.c(o)m

She must hit Paris. Turkey sounded really good as well. Definitely Venice. Aurora at Finland sounded wonderful too...

All these were good options.

Everything was almost set except for the final push.
