"I have no problem with that." Feng Ye nodded likewise.
"Then let's go..."
Ling Tian shook his head and exhaled smilingly. His gaze turned to Di Ji and her parents.
"En!"
The two children shouted happily and carried Ling Tian home pulling him by his arms.
Di Ji smiled in relief and invited everyone into her house. Her parents led everyone into the small living room which quickly filled up.
"Young Master, as Di Ji's father, I want to thank you for taking care of her and bringing her back home."
"Yes, thank you for bringing her back safe and sound!"
Di Ji's father said once Ling Tian and everyone sat in the room, small but cozy with a warm feeling. Di Ji's mother beside him also nodded with a grateful and loving smile.
Both experienced parents could see that Ling Tian was very different from any other immature youngster, with a calm and serene look that was rare to find in someone of his generation; they could even notice that look full of life's vicissitudes that they would only find in older adults who had experienced life and understood some mysteries.
Ling Tian's arms were busy having some toys that Di Ji's two younger siblings had given him, showing him what they had and how they played.
"It's okay, Di Ji is a good girl who didn't deserve to be in that place, so I was hoping she would go back to her family better. She deserves better." Ling Tian replied with a smile as his hands continued to play with both small children, but his gaze was on both of Di Ji's parents.
Di Ji's face blushed as she poured Ling Tian a cup of tea, following the same behavior as before of being a maid even though Ling Tian had told her not to worry. However, a happy smile full of obvious joyful feelings still showed on her face.
"This is..."
Ling Tian blinked slightly as he brought the cup his mouth and the faint scent exuded from the tea leaf reached his nose.
