Chapter 284 - You weren’t supposed to have a future with her (1)

Before getting up, Qin Yu tucked Little Wang in again and stared at him.

Success was within his grasp. As long as he could be cruel, he could succeed in his plan. It would be normal enough for a lost child to resurface in a river. That was very normal and appeared in the news across the country every day. However, he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t pass that hurdle. Perhaps, it was because he wasn’t cruel enough. Or maybe, it was because this was her child. Sometimes, he would think that if only they had a child together, then it would have been fine.

He texted Song Tingshen the address, and then he left the bedroom. While waiting for Song Tingshen to arrive, he took out a bottle of wine that he had been saving for a long time from the wine cabinet along with two glasses.

Sure enough, it didn’t take long for Song Tingshen to arrive. As soon as he came in, he fiercely kicked Qin Yu in the stomach. Qin Yu fell back two steps, but didn’t shout out despite the pain.

“Where’s my son?” Song Tingshen asked in a hoarse voice and cold face.

Qin Yu pointed at one of the rooms.

Song Tingshen strode over, but stopped at the door and softened his footsteps as he walked into the room. Seeing that Little Wang was sweetly sleeping and there was nothing wrong with him, he closed the door and turned to look at Qin Yu. “What do you mean by this?”

“Sit.” Qin Yu endured the pain and gestured for Song Tingshen to sit down on the sofa across from him.

Song Tingshen’s hanging heart finally fell. He felt that Qin Yu was too weird. Qin Yu had been able to kidnap his son without leaving any evidence, but then he so easily let him see his son. So then, did he spend all that effort just to play hide-and-seek with them? Or did he just want to see them almost have a mental breakdown?

Qin Yu poured wine into the two glasses and said to Song Tingshen, “This is her favorite wine. I bought it a long time ago and planned on taking it out on our wedding day.”

Song Tingshen’s expression became even more ugly. No one would have a good impression of a person that was after his wife and had kidnapped his child. Song Tingshen was already exercising extreme restraint in not stabbing him.

Song Tingshen didn’t drink the wine, and Qin Yu didn’t say anything. Qin Yu drank several glasses of wine before saying, “I love her.”

Song Tingshen scoffed, “Love?”

He paused and looked at Qin Yu, “You don’t respect the wishes of others.”

Qin Yu whispered, “If you weren’t around, we would be together. We would get married. Why didn’t you die?”

Song Tingshen had gotten up to leave, but then he heard Qin Yu saying, “You should have died in City A. You weren’t supposed to have a future with her.”

“What did you say?” Song Tingshen icily looked at him.

Qin Yu stretched. “If I remember correctly, your son had gotten a fever, so you rushed to take a flight back. It was raining heavily that day and you died in a car accident on your way to the airport. Later on, I met Ruan Xia and we got together. That’s what happened.”

Upon hearing such an outrageous course of events, Song Tingshen’s initial reaction was that it was a made-up story.
