Ruan Xia tossed and turned in bed until she drifted off to sleep at 3 or 4 AM. She definitely wouldn’t be able to wake up in time for the morning group activities.

She didn’t expect Qin Yu to be here, but she quickly figured out his reason for being here; Ruan Xia was sleeping upstairs.
Qin Yu nodded. His eyelids didn’t even twitch. He went back to reading the newspaper.
The manager hastily went back to her room and found her sunscreen. When she passed by Ruan Xia’s room, she hesitated. She wanted to wake her up, but since this had nothing to do with her, she dismissed that idea. She went down the stairs as fast as possible. She just wanted to go to the beach and meet up with her coworkers.
Before she reached the door, Qin Yu asked her, “She’s still sleeping?”
The manager cautiously answered, “Yes, it might be because she slept too late last night. We didn’t wake her up. Those group activities on the beach...”
Before she finished speaking, Qin Yu put down the newspaper and gave an unclear response, “That’s fine. Those things don’t interest her.”
The manager didn’t know how to reply to that.
It was Qin Yu that broke the silence. “Go do your thing.”
As if she had obtained an amnesty, the manager hastily left the house.

It was almost noon when Ruan Xia woke up. Her coworkers were back from the beach and looked tanned. She was thankful that she hadn’t gone with them and tanned her snow white skin.
Qin Yu wasn’t around. Ruan Xia sighed in relief. Her appetite was better than last night. If he was around, she might not even be able to swallow her saliva.
Ruan Xia thought she would have to spend the next few days scared witless, but then she got a call from Song Tingshen.
It was a time like this that Ruan Xia discovered that not only did she miss Little Wang, she also missed Song Tingshen. Without her knowing, Song Tingshen had become her pillar. As long as he was there, the things that troubled her so much didn’t seem that serious anymore.

She froze in surprise for a moment. Why did Little Wang use Song Tingshen’s phone to call her? Shouldn’t Little Wang be in kindergarten this time of the day?
“Little Wang, why are you using Dad’s phone? Shouldn’t you be in class right now?”
“Dad and I are coming to see you so we can play together!” Little Wang was very cheerful and lively. The chubby kid was very happy for two reasons. First, he didn’t have to go to kindergarten. Second, he was going to see his mom and play together. “Mommy, I miss you so much. Where are you? Dad and I are coming there to see you!”
