Chapter 169 – If a person like him doesn’t become successful, then what kind of person could succeed? (3)

Ruan Xia got up from the bed. Little Wang had woken up too. There was a dazzling red on the white bedsheets.

She helplessly pulled her hair. She would have to inconvenience the hotel staff with changing out the sheets and mattress. Needless to say, there was going to be an extra charge.

Shocked, Little Wang asked, “Mom, what is this... Blood?”

Ruan Xia found it difficult to explain a period to a four-year-old boy. Besides, she didn’t think it was a good idea to clearly explain it either. What was she supposed to say to him? Mom will bleed once a month. But, don’t worry about it! It’s no big deal.

Any little kid would be scared to death by this information. It would be better to wait until he was older before explaining this to him.

The top priority now was to deal with the matter at hand.

Thinking of this, she could only choose to fool him. “It’s not blood. Umm, little treasure, how about you go next door and find your dad? Have dad take you to the cafeteria to eat. Mom will come down soon.”

While Song Tingshen and Little Wang went to eat breakfast, she would call the hotel’s front desk. She would have to go buy sanitary napkins later, but for the time being, she could borrow one from the female hotel receptionist. This wasn’t something that could be solved in a moment.

Right after Ruan Xia said those words, she clutched her stomach. Her face turned somewhat pale. She ran to the bathroom.

What was worse, cramps or diarrhea? She really wanted to know!

If she had cramps, she could at least take medicine. But diarrhea?

Little Wang was left blankly standing in the room. He climbed onto the bed and carefully looked at the spot of red on the bedsheets. That really was blood!

He wasn’t a little kid that could be easily fooled. Why did mom lie to him? This was clearly blood, and this was also the spot that his mom had been sleeping in last night. Most importantly, his mom looked really bad just now. Her hand was over her stomach, and she looked really uncomfortable...

What was going on?

Little Wang walked to the bathroom and knocked on the frosted door with his small chubby hand. “Mom, are you okay? Are you feeling uncomfortable?”

Ruan Xia had just placed the disposable cover on the toilet. “I’m fine. Little Wang, go to dad and have him bring you down to eat breakfast. Mom will come down soon. Be good.”

Sitting on the toilet, she opened an app on her phone. Even though she hadn’t packed sanitary pads on this trip, thanks to the convenience of modern life, she could order it and have it delivered!

It didn’t occur to Ruan Xia that the blood on the sheets and her pained appearance would have such a huge impact on a little kid. Moreover, this kid’s brain activity was especially big.

Little Wang was dumbfounded. He didn’t even put on a jacket. Only wearing a tanktop and shorts, he opened the door and scurried over to the next room. Standing bare feet on the hallway’s carpet and terrified, he kept knocking on Song Tingshen’s door. “Dad! Dad!”

Song Tingshen was already awake. Right after he finished washing up, he heard knocking on his door as well as his son’s voice from the hallway.

Why did he wake up so early?

Song Tingshen unhurriedly walked to the door and opened it, but he only saw his chubby son.

His chubby son latched onto his leg. His lips were wobbly, and he looked as if he was about to cry.

Song Tingshen quickly picked him up and asked, “Where’s your mom?”

Little Wang couldn’t hold back anymore. Hugging his dad’s neck, he bawled. “Dad, mom is dying!”
