Chapter 33: Interaction

The group of three (four with the little cat) came out. They planned to give 10 of the crystal and found out that some of the other groups didn’t even have enough crystal to pay their entrance.

They exchanged it with money, a total of a million per crystal.

“Let’s just use money.” Jake took out his card and handed it to the soldier in front of him. The crystal was still quite rare and they were all very rich second generations. Several millions were nothing for them.

“I’ll pay next.” Dylan frowned.

“Don’t sweat it. It’s not like we hadn’t done this a few times in the past.” Jake shrugged.

Kyle waved his hand and the three of them went to their car. They took off their smelly equipment and tossed it all on the back car. Not a single one of them would be willing to wear these again.

At least, before they were cleaned up thoroughly.

.....

As they entered the car, Kate realized that Jake seemed to have new hobby aside from talking to Kyle.

“Little Kitty, do you know how old you are?” Jake asked while stretching his hand towards Kate.

Kate, who was lying comfortably on the seat, narrowed her eyes. Because they had just come out of that water channel, that particularly amazing smell still lingered around their body.

Her nose was extremely sensitive.

Kate meowed and evaded Jake’s hand.

“MEOW!”

Jake looked at Kate and seemed to be able to see her disgusted look. He felt that his heart was pierced. “Damn it! Kyle, your little cat is disgusted of me!”

Kyle arched his eyebrows. “I’m not surprised.”

Jake: “...”

“Are you on my side or your little cat’s side, ah?”

“Little Kitty.”

“is our decades of friendship worth nothing?” Jake fumed but didn’t continue with this conversation. He looked at his hand and wondered just how bad was the smell that the little cat immediately avoided him.

He furrowed his eyebrows. “Why can’t I smell anything?”

Kate looked at Jake as if she was looking at an idiot.

Did he buy his degree?

Because his nose had gotten used to the smell, he naturally didn’t think that he was smelly. But for Kate who completely hid inside Kyle’s jacket and rarely came out, it was something different.

Besides, she’s now an animal.

Her senses were incredibly sensitive, so Kate could still sense that amazing smell.

“Absorb the crystal when you have time.” Kyle was driving but he could see that Jake and Dylan were doing nothing. Jake was trying to tease Kate, but the little cat had been avoiding him over and over.

“Oh, you’re right!” Jake grinned and took out the few crystals from his pocket.

Dylan did the same.

Kate watched and then looked at Kyle. The crystal that suited her were all kept by Kyle because they would disappear as soon as they touched her. Kyle took out the few transparent crystal and placed it beside Kate.

“You too, Little Kitty.”

“Meow~.”

Kate happily touched the crystals in front of her as they melt completely into her body. Her blue eyes were watching everything that occurred with great interest. And soon, she had absorbed half of the crystals.

This time, Kate felt somewhat full.

“Meow?”

Kate raised her small paw and looked at it curiously. This was the first time she felt full after absorbing these crystals.

Maybe it was because there were not many crystals before?

Kate didn’t know.

Looking at the few crystals in front of her, Kate didn’t bother to touch them anymore and curled up. Her small body still required more sleep.

Beside her, Kyle watched as Kate slept. The corner of his lips curled up to form a faint smile.
