General Zuo sat in the main hall. He hummed as he drank his tea. “The ugly ones will always be up to no good. Since she’s taking so long, she must be embarrassed to come out. This is such a waste of time.”
“General Zuo, she is the Lady Phoenix. How dare you be so presumptuous!” Ji You reminded General Zuo coldly.
General Zuo wasn’t bothered by this at all. “So what if she’s the Lady Phoenix, is no one allowed to say that she’s ugly? What’s more, I am only loyal to Her Majesty, the others mean nothing to me.”
